Product Usage Instructions Main Connection

Before plugging the appliance into the mains supply, ensure the voltage matches the one on the characteristics plate. Use an earthed socket for safety.

Cleaning and Safety

Never immerse the appliance in water or liquid. Unplug before cleaning.
Follow national electrical installation regulations.
Avoid misuse to prevent possible injury.
Leave a 1 cm space between bread slices in the toaster rack to prevent fire risks.
Clean out crumbs regularly to avoid fire hazards or malfunctions.

Initial Use

When using the toaster for the first time, set it to the maximum setting without bread twice to eliminate residual smells.
To switch on, set the timer, press the ON switch, and adjust the toasting level (1-6).
The pilot lamp indicates operation status. The appliance will auto-switch off at the set time.
Avoid inserting metal objects into the bread slot and use non-abrasive cleaning products.
Store the main cable under the toaster using the cable coiler.

MAINS CONN

The toaster can get very hot when it is operating. Do not touch the hot surfaces, use the handles.
Do not leave them unattended.

Do not leave equipment unattended while working.
Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
Bread may burn; bread toasters must not be used in the proximity of, or under curtains or other flammable materials.

CAUTION

Never fill the rack completely with bread, leave a free space of 1 cm between the slices.
To avoid the possibility of fire, do not leave the toaster unattended during use.
Clean out accumulated crumbs frequently to avoid risk of fire or toaster malfunction
Bread may burn during toasting the bread. This must be watching.

USE

When switching the toaster on for the first time, set the toaster to its maximum setting but without any bread in it. Do this twice in order to burn off any residual smells.
To switch it on, set the timer to the desired position and press the ON switch. o The higher the number (1-6), the higher the level of toasting
The pilot lamp will light up, indicating that the appliance is working.
When it reaches the set time, the appliance will automatically switch itself off, along with the pilot lamp and a buzzer will sound.
Toasting can be interrupted at any time by pressing the OFF switch.

TYPES OF BREAD

Thanks to its design the toaster accepts all types of sliced bread, including flapjacks and similar products such as croissants and pastries. The selected task setting may vary depending on the water content of the bread that you are using.

Caution : This appliance is not suitable for any other use, as frying or heating any other type of food other than that stated in the paragraph above.

CLEANING

Check that the appliance is unplugged from the mains and completely cold.
Clean the outer casing with a damp cloth. Never let water get inside the toaster, nor insert any metal objects in through the bread slot.
Never use abrasive cleaning products.
Crumb removal : Open the crumb catcher tray and remove the contents.

CABLE COILER

The main cable can be stored wrapping it under the toaster.
