Preparation

  1. Before beginning installation, make sure all parts are included using the contents diagrams from page 1. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product.
  2. Estimated assembly time: 30 minutes.
  3. Tools required for assembly (not included): screwdriver, pliers, wire stripper, safety glasses, electrical tape, ladder, and drill.\

Care and Maintenance

  • Shut off the main power supply before cleaning products or changing light bulbs.
  • To clean, wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaners that contain alcohol.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Place the mounting template (B) against the wall and mark the position of the screw holes on the wall.

  2. For hole locations in drywall with no wood studs, use a 3/8 inch (9.5mm) drill bit to drill pilot holes into the wall at the template locations marked. Then insert the wall anchors (BB) into the pilot holes.
    For hole locations directly on a wood stud, use a 1/16 inch (1.6mm) drill bit to drill pilot holes in the wall at the template locations marked. Screw the pan head self-tapping screws (AA) through the mounting brackets (DD) and into the wall anchors (BB) or wood studs.PROGRESS-P300492-030-CS-Captarent-LED-

    NOTE: Wall anchors are required for use in drywall hole locations with no wood stud access. For any pilot holes drilled directly into a wooden stud, the wall anchors are not required.
    Note: Ensure that the mounting brackets (DD) are level.
    Note: For P300492/P300493, be sure to use the two shorter brackets for vertical mounting and the two longer brackets for horizontal mounting.

  3. Install an NM cable connector clamp (not included) into the mounting plate (not included).
    Pass the mirror jumper wire through the clamp and secure it.
    Strip 3/8″ of insulation from the electrical wire ends. Using wire nuts (CC), connect the WHITE fixture wire to the WHITE supply wire from the outlet box; connect the BLACK fixture wire to the BLACK supply wire from the outlet box.
    Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire nut or by fastening it to the ground screw on the swivel mounting strap. Push all of the wire connections carefully into the outlet box.
    Install this assembly to the junction box using the mounting screws supplied with the junction box (not included).

  4. Hang the mirror (A) onto the mounting brackets (DD).

  5. Install the two locking brackets (EE) right above the top of the mirror frame. Use a 3/8-inch drill bit to drill pilot holes and insert the wall anchors (BB).
    Screw the two pan head self-tapping screws (AA) through the locking brackets (EE) and into the two wall anchors (BB).

Touch Button Functionality

  • Short press turns the light on and off
  • Press and Hold adjusts the brightness level
  • Short press cycles through 3 different CCT levels
