ASHFLY 331A Digital Microscope
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Thank you for purchasing this equipment, it is complex to use, so please read this manual in detail to understand how to operate the microscope before using it.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Please fully charge the product before first use. Please do not charge directly through the PC, but choose a 5V-2A adapter.
- In PC mode, this device only supports the USB 3.0 or above interface, not the USB 2.0 interface.
- This product is not a biological microscope and is not suitable for cell biology research.
- The optimal focal distance of the microscope is 2-60mm. You need to adjust the focus by adjusting the focus drum to achieve the clearest state.
- This device cannot accurately read by microscope magnification, which is a combination of digital and optical magnification microscope, the specific magnification effect is subject to the actual picture taken.
- When the battery is low, both the storage mode and PC camera mode cannot be used normally. This is not a product failure.
- Do not touch the lens or other optical parts with your hands, otherwise, it will cause image blur and affect imaging quality.
- Do not disassemble the product or component structure by yourself to avoid abnormal equipment use.
BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS
- Please use a safe and compliant 5V/2A home charger to charge this device.
- This device supports charging while in use.
- If the device is left unused for a long period, please ensure that it is charged at least once every 3 months to prevent irreparable damage caused by over-discharging the battery.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
STEPS TO USE
- After unpacking, assemble the metal bracket as shown in the figure below.
- Fix the host and bracket, as shown in the figure below. 1 5V/2A
- Connect the light source as shown in the figure below.
- Please insert the TF card when the power is off.
- Please be careful not to confuse the insertion direction and the front and back of the TF card.
- Do not use excessive force when inserting or pulling out the TF card, otherwise, the structure of the card slot may be damaged. ! Insert the TF card
- Before using this device, you need to insert the TF card.
- After fixing the workstation, press and hold the power switch button for 3 seconds to turn on the device and start working.
- Adjust the support to move the lens up and down, and adjust the focus drum to obtain the required magnification for observation.
- Adjust the focus drum to the left when moving the lens downwards to increase the magnification, and to the right when moving the lens upwards to decrease the magnification.
FUNCTION BUTTON

After switching on, the product is in “Photographic mode” by default, click the “ ” key to take photos, click the ” ” key once to enter the “Video mode”, click “ ” to start recording, then click” ” to end the recording, click “ ” once again to
enter the file browsing mode. -
Short press the ” ” key to set: “Photographic mode” -“Video mode” – “File browsing mode”, with three modes circulating.

In” Photographic mode”, Long press “ ” to enter the color-switching mode. Click the key “ ” or “ ” to switch between different color modes.

In” Photographic mode” and “Video mode”, click the “OK” key to rotate the image.

in“Photographic mode ”, click the“ ”key to adjust the photo-related parameters, and click“ ”, again to enter the settings page.

ln“Video mode ”, click the“ ”key to adjust the video-related parameters, and click “ ”, again to enter the settings page.
“File browsing” mode operation instructions
- Click“ ”twice to enter the file browsing mode, you can view all the saved photos and videos. If you need to delete the current photo or video file, click the “ ”key to enter the delete page.
- If the current file is in video format, click the “ ”key for the play/pause function, and click the left and right keys for the fast forward and fast rewind function.
Setting page” operation instructions
- Double-click the“ ”key to enter the settings page.
- Click“ ” to select the required menu item.
- Select the required item, click the “ ”key to enter, select“ ” the desired parameters, and then click the “ ”key to confirm.
- When finished setting, Click the “ ” key to exit the setting mode.
- The first time using the device, you need to go to“ ”to select the required language (the factory setting of the device is: English).
MODE INTRODUCTION
The product has three mode functions, which are as follows:
- Memory mode: connect to PC, read, write, and format TF card.
- PC camera mode: Connect to a computer and use it through the computer software, making the large screen more intuitive.
- Normal mode: normal use mode of the device.
Memory mode
Connect the microscope to the computer via USB data cable, select memory mode,
and then click the OK button to view the saved photos and videos on the
computer. PC camera mode:(Only supports USB3.0 the interface does not support
USB2.0 interface)
Note: When using PC mode,
- some function keys will not be available
- In PC camera mode, it is normal that the device monitor will not display images.
- When connected, if the software has no image, please repeat plugging and unplugging the TYPE-C data cable or replacing the cable.
Windows system
Support Windows Vista/XP/7/8/10/11 or later.
Software Installation
- For WlN 7/8 systems, download and install the “AMCAP” software.
- For WlN 10/11 systems, search directly for the software “Windows Camera” (Note: Please disable the default laptop camera in Windows! And you must change the camera’s privacy settings, which is needed to allow access.
- Or download the application “Smart Camera” for your computer, download link: www.inskam.com/download/camera.zip
- Connect your microscope to the USB port on the back of your computer case with the Type-C cable that comes with the microscope, press and hold the power button to turn on your computer, select enter PC camera mode, and open the computer software to use.
- Different Windows systems are recommended to use different software, please choose to download the corresponding software to use according to the system.

Note: If the following situation occurs for a long time during the process of connecting the device to the computer using the data cable. You can try the following solutions:
- Firstly, please plug and unplug the Type-C cable repeatedly or plug the data cable into the USB port at the back of the computer case to ensure that the device is powered properly.
- Secondly, the software may not be compatible with the system, you can check if you are using the software installation instructions correctly.
- Open the software (we recommend using the Photo Booth software that comes with your Apple computer).
- First, go to the “Applications” directory in the Finder window and find an application called “Photo Booth”.
Connecting the device
- Connect the microscope to your computer’s USB port with the Type-C connector that comes with the microscope, press and hold the power button to turn on the device, and choose to enter PC camera mode.
- Open and run “Photo Booth”.
- Click “Photo Booth”. and select the camera “USB CAMERA”.
- You can also use the alternative software “Quick Time Player”.
COPYING PICTURE AND VIDEO FILES
You can use a TF card reader to copy directly or use a Type-C cable to copy
from a computer. If the device is not connected to the computer when copying,
please restart the device or plug in the Type-C cable. Do not plug or unplug
the Type-C cable during data transfer, as this may cause data transfer
failure.
CHARGING GUIDE
- Connect the device to the Type-C / USB adapter for charging (5V 2A), fast charging is not supported.
- During charging, the indicator shows a red light.
- When the device is fully charged, the indicator shows a green light.
- When the battery is low, both memory mode and PC camera mode cannot be used normally, and the battery must be charged beyond the 1/3 position before it can be used again.
FAQ Help

The product cannot be switched on.
- Confirm whether the product has power.
- Confirm whether the power is connected.
- Confirm that the power supply is not sufficient due to the computer being used for charging.

The product is dead.
- Press the device reset button to force shutdown.

The image is not clear.
- Whether the object being measured is correctly positioned directly below the lens.
- Whether the focal length adjusted to the optimum position?
- Whether the light is used correctly?
- Product charging.
- Please use the 5V-2A adapter to charge the device.

TF card cannot be recognized.

Please check if the TF format is FTA32 format, if not, please
format it; if not recognized, please re-plug the TF card. -
The device only supports high-speed memory cards above Class 10, excluding Class 10.

When using PC camera mode, the software does not show the picture after connecting to the computer.
- Reconnect the product to the computer.
- Check if you clicked into PC mode.
- Whether the battery is low.
- Make sure that you are using the correct data cable and that you are not using a charging cable without a data transfer function.

Class B digital device, under part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used by the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee
that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this
equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
- Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from thatto which the receiver is connected.

The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirements. The
device can be used in portable exposure conditions without restriction.
