Generally

This appliance is for private and indoor use only and must not be used commercially. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too. Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.

Safety information

  • Only plug in the appliance according to the data shown on the rating label.

  • Never touch the plug with wet hands

  • Unwind the power cord before each usage.

  • Only use the appliance when the power cord and the appliance does not have any damage. Check before each use!

  • Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.

  • Pull the plug out of the socket after each use and in case of a malfunction.

  • Do not tear at the power cord. Do not scrub the power cord over sharp edges and do not jam the power cord.

  • This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or packaging material (e.g. Plastic Bags).

  • Do not immerse the appliance into water.

  • The appliance must be used after a malfunction, e.g. after it dropped to the floor or it was damaged in any other way.

  • The producer does not take over any responsibility at wrong usage, which is caused by ignoring the instruction manual.

  • To avoid any dangers, repairs, e.g. exchange of a damaged power cord, must be done by authorized service people or a specialized company.

  • The appliance is watertight up to the lower edge of the handle.

  • Never immerse the appliance deeper than the lower edge of the cone in any liquid. If this happens by accident, the appliance must not be used anymore and send to authorized service for repair.

  • Keep the appliance at a cool dry place in the kitchen.

  • Unplug the appliance if you work at the protection cover or at any working parts.

  • Unplug the appliance if the appliance is not used or any working parts are attached to the appliance.

  • Remove all rotating parts when you rinse the appliance out of a bowl.

  • Only switch the appliance on, when the mixing knife is in a bowl, jar or similar pot.

  • Avoid any contact of the knife to finger, hair, clothes, knifes or other tools, because this can cause severe injuries.

  • The knife must not be used anymore, when it is damaged. The parts have to be replaced.

  • If the appliance is on heavy duty, the housing can get warm.
    Most work is done in seconds. If the appliance gets more than hand-warm, let it cool down.

  • Only use original equipment and spare parts, else the producer takes no responsibility for damages or injuries. Before you use the chopper take  care, that no foreign objects are inside the bowl.

  • Only use the chopper with the lid closed.

  • Run the appliance max 2min. Let it cool down afterwards at least 5min.

  • Never place the appliance on or next to hot surfaces (e.g hot plates). Only use the appliance on a stable and flat surface.

  • When using a powercord extension it is important that children are not pulling at it or a trip hazard occurs.

  • Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

  • Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

  • The appliance must always be unplugged in case of no supervision, prior to assembly, the dismantling or cleaning.

Cleaning:

  • Turn the mixer stick from the motor part and put the mixing stick under hot water or put it into the dish washer. Do not immerse the motor  part in water. Wipe the motor part with a damp cloth. Remove the knives only with the remover tool to avoid any injuries.
  • All parts of the chopper are dishwasher safe!
  • Remove the rubber feet of the chopper bowl to make the cleaning easier.

Assembly:

The mixer stick, including the intended knife, must be put on the motor set and turned until it fits perfectly.

Exchange of the knives:

Attention! The knifes at the Mixer and at the chopper are very sharp! Danger of cuts! Always unplug the appliance!
Put the knives vertical on the shaft that way that the pin of the shaft fits into the opening of the knife. To remove the knife, only use the remover. At the chopper put the motor part directly on the shaft.

Usage

Mix small quantities in small bowls, large quantities in large bowls. Thin, tall bowls are better than wide low bowls.
Only switch the appliance on when the mixer stick is inside a bowl.
Large amounts of soup, sauce etc can be mixed directly in the pot.
Attention: Danger of splashes
In the pot or a bowl, always move the mixer circular from the bottom at the edge.
Always lift the mixer a little to start a circulation of the food. At more solid food do not press the mixer on it to avoid a overheating of the motor. Working time at raw meat 30 sec.
If there is only little liquid inside a bowl, put the bowl in a slight angle to avoid excessive splashes.
When making whipped cream or mayonnaise place the mixer stick at the bottom of the jar and then pull it slowly upwards. This should be repeated several times until the intended consistency is achieved.
To avoid splashes put the speed dial on a lower speed and press the button for normal speed, after ca. 1 minute press “turbo” to go on with max. speed.

Adjustment:

(rpm= rounds per minute)
Turbo 16.000rpm e.g. creaming of soups
Max 13.000rpm e.g. mincing of meat
Min 4.000rpm for whipped cream
The intermediate steps are +/- 2000rpm
You will get experienced with the different speed over the time.
Press the button for normal speed or the “turbo” button to switch on the appliance.
By pressing the normal speed button it is possible to adjust the speed with the speed dial. The higher the speed is, the shorter the time.
When pressing the “Turbo” it is not possible to adjust the speed.

Correct Disposal of this product

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To  return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this  product for environmental safe recycling.

Packaging disposal: Do not throw away the package materials. Please put it in the recycling bin.
Gift box: Paper, should be put to the old paper collection point.
Plastic packaging material and foils should be collected in the special collection containers.
