Concrobium Moisture Grabbers® pouches get rid of musty odors and protect your
possessions against moisture damage. Great for indoor areas prone to high
humidity including bathrooms, closets, and utility rooms. The pouch can be
placed in small, enclosed spaces such as cabinets, storage containers, and
safes. Moisture Grabbers trap moisture in a stay-dry pouch and can safely be
used in cars, trucks, and boats.
INSTRUCTIONS
3-STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Remove the pouch from a plastic bag.
- Gently shake the pouch to mix the contents.
- Place on a flat surface in the desired location.
Safe to use on any horizontal surface. Expose the pouch to airflow so it can absorb humidity in the area.
- One pouch will treat an area of up to 350 cubic feet (approximately 7 × 6′ room with 8′ ceilings).
- In completely sealed spaces (e.g. plastic containers or storage bins) 1 pouch will be effective for up to 1 year.
- For areas with ongoing humidity and dampness (e.g. closets, bathrooms, cars) pouches should be replaced more frequently.
- The frequency of replacement will vary depending on factors such as humidity levels, temperature, and the size of the area.
REPLACEMENT
WHEN TO REPLACE: “THE THUMB TEST”
As the pouch absorbs humidity and moisture from the air, the crystals inside
become gel. Replace the Moisture Grabbers pouch when all crystals have been
converted to gel. A simple ‘thumb test will help you to determine if it’s
time. Press down on the pouch to feel for any remaining crystals. If the
entire pouch feels like a gel, the Moisture Grabber should be discarded and
replaced. A single pouch can absorb up to 3 times its own weight in moisture.
Discard the used pouch with normal household waste.
