USING YOUR GRILL

  • Before first use, see CLEANING INSTRUCTION and HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE.
  • Connect the main plug to a suitable socket.
  • Set the desired temperature by means of the temperature control “0/1/2/3/4/5”. The indicator lamp lights up.
  • The unit, on its first use, might emit a light smell.it is however of no consequence and lasts only Briefly. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
  • As soon as this temperature is attained, the check light goes off.
  • When the grill has cooled down, the grill is heated up again automatically.
  • The indicator lamp glows till the set temperature is attained again.
  • Always turn the temperature control “0//1/2/3/4/5” to “0”, to switch off the grill.
  • Pull out the mains plug from the socket and pull the plug from the connecting socket.
  • Carry the grill only by the handles.*
  • Let the grill cool down outside the reach of the children or clean it.

Warning: Accessible surfaces may be very hot when the appliance is operating. Never touch these parts of the apparatus to avoid burning injuries!

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out of the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil, or plastic from the device.
  • Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
  •  Place the grease collecting tray below the grease outlet.
  • Place the supplied thermostat in the connection of the thermostat.

  • Turn the thermostat clockwise to the highest setting and allow the device to heat for at least 5 minutes without food.

  • We advise placing a heat-resistant coating between your table and the appliance (this way you don’t get burns on your table or tablecloth).
  • Place the device in a well-ventilated space.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: No parts should be placed in an automatic dishwasher.

  • Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning or moving.
  • Remove the cord set ( DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER), wipe with a damp cloth, and dry thoroughly.
  • Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher-proof.

CAUTION

The probe and probe receptacle must always be completely dry before use. the connector must be removed before the appliance is cleaned and that the appliance inlet must be dried before the appliance is used again.

HINTS FOR CARE AND USE OF NON-STICK SURFACE

  • To avoid scratching the non-stick surface, do not stack objects on the grill.
  • Use medium to low heat for best cooking results.
  • Very high temperatures can cause discoloration and shorten the life span of any non-stick surface.
  • If higher temperatures are necessary, preheat on medium for a few minutes.
  • Use only nylon. plastic, or wooden utensils with care to avoid scratching the non-stick surface.
  • Never cut food on the grill.
  • Remove stubborn stains with a plastic scouring pad and mild dishwashing liquid;

DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL

  • IF THE POWER CORD IS DAMAGED, IT MUST BE REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER, OR ITS
  • SERVICE AGENT OR A SIMILARLY QUALIFIED PERSON IN ORDER TO AVOID A HAZARD.
  • CAUTION: Make sure that the grill is unplugged and cold before manipulating it.
  • Never leave the machine unattended.
  • Always use the appliance on a secure, dry-level surface.
  • Never place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or where it could touch a heated appliance.
  • Liquids should be allowed to cool to room temperature before use.
