MDT SCN-GLED1W.01 Glass KNX LED Indicator

Product Information

The MDT LED Indicator is a flush-mounted device for fixed installations in dry rooms. It is designed to be used with the KNX interface and has a maximum wire gauge for connection. The device has a power supply and consumes power from the KNX bus. It operates within a specific temperature range and has a protective enclosure. The dimensions of the device are 41mm x 41mm x 13mm for the SCN-LED55.01 model and 92mm x 92mm x 13mm for the SCN-GLED1W.01 and SCN- GLED1S.01 models. The device is compatible with TP-256 ETS 3/4/5.

Product Usage Instructions

Before commissioning the LED Indicator, please download the application software from www.mdt.de/Downloads.html. Follow the steps below to install and commission the LED Indicator:

1. Assign the physical address and set parameters with the ETS.
2. Load the physical address and the application program into the LED Indicator.

Note: The LED Indicator has connection terminals, operating elements, and display LEDs. The SCN-LED55.01 model has a red programming LED, while the SCN- GLED1W.01 and SCN-GLED1S.01 models have a red programming LED as well. The programming LEDs blink alternately from left to right.

Terminals, Operating and Display LED Indicator

1. KNX bus connection terminal
2. Programming key
3. Red programming LED (SCN-LED55.01)
4. Red programming LED (SCN-GLED1x.01)
5. All red LEDs behind the sensor areas are used as programming LED. They are blinking alternately from the left to the right side.

Installation LED Indicator

1. Connect the LED Indicator to the KNX bus.
2. Flush mounting of the LED Indicator.
3. Switch on KNX power supply.

Commissioning LED Indicator

Note: Before commissioning please download the application software at www.mdt.de/Downloads.html

1. Assign the physical address and set parameters with the ETS.
2. Upload the physical address and parameters into the LED Indicator. After request press the programming button.
3. After successful programming, the red LED turns off.

Description LED Indicator

The MDT LED Indicator allows to display universal logical and building functions. These functions are available.

• 12 independently switchable RGB LED
• 3 objects for each LED
• 5 states for each LED possible (value=0, value=1, 2 priority objects, failure of an object)
  • e.g.: Garage door closed: green, Garage door opened: red, Garage door moves up: red flashing, Garage door moves down: green flashing
• 8 logical blocks with 8 inputs each (8 objects)
• 4 modules to compare telegrams
• Brightness in 2 steps adjustable
• Day/night object
• Deactivation/reduction of the brightness
• Presence/absence object
• Drop out monitoring for objects with report function
• Object with report function (e.g. absence or window opened)
