Guideline and technical specifications for inside cover page
1. Subject
Inside cover pages are a special form of advertising of the magazines of Carl
Hanser Verlag.
2. Format
- DIN-A4 width 210 mm / height 160 mm
- Bleed 3 mm on each side
- Cut marks with a distance of 3 mm to the final format
- Resolution 300 dpi minimum
- PDFX4 / PDFX5
3. Recommendations for your creative
The motif is a pictoral representation of your key message and therefore free
of text or other elements of a typical advertising creative. If your logo
consists of text or contains a claim, that is OK within the image.
In general, the inside cover page has to match the look and feel of the
magazine. In case of doubt we reserve a right of co-determination and make an
effort to meet your interests.
4. Accompanying text
Your advertising text will be placed on the opposite side of the inside cover
page and should not exceed 450 characters including headline and spaces.
