OVERVIEW

Congratulations on your purchase.

This mobile printer is engineered for on-the-go full-page printing to boost your productivity. As a thermal printer, it does not require any ink or toner.
All prints will be made by heating compatible paper. Please take a moment to thoroughly review this user guide as incorrect operation may result in damage to your printer or injury.

WARNING

  • Printer head (TPH) may be very hot.
  • Please do not touch the printer head or parts around it after printing.
  • See additional safety notices on Page 9.

QUICK START

Printing on Phone

  1. Download the Paperang app.

  1. Press & hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the printer.

  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device and place it close to the printer.

  3. Open the Paperang app.

  4. Pairing with the printer
    Method 1: Tap the button in app > Tap Paperang F2S from the list of nearby devices > Complete pairing.
    Method 2: Double press the power button to print a QR code > Tap the button in app to scan the code > Complete pairing.

  5. Start printing using Paperang app.

  6. Tearing off the print manually.

  7. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the printer after use.

Printing on PC/Mac

  1. Download and install the driver that matches your computer’s operating system from following link:

  2. Connect Paperang F2S to your computer using the included USB-A to C cable. Please note a USB-C adapter (not included) is necessary for the latest macOS computers.

  3. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the printer.

  4. Choose Paperang F2S as the printer to start inkless A4 printing on your PC/Mac.

  5. Tearing off the print.

  6. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the printer after use.

NOTE

  • When printing several pages continuously using paper roll, you’ll be given a 5-sec pause between each printed page to tear off the printout.
  • The drivers support Windows 7 and later & macOS 14 and later

Loading 4/8-Inch Paper Roll

  1. Press both release buttons to unlock the cover.

  2. Lift the cover up to open it.

  3. Remove the remnant of the used paper roll.

  4. Load the paper roll into the paper compartment as shown.

  5. Close the cover until it locks into place.

To Load 4-Inch Paper Roll

  1. Follow the first 3 steps mentioned above.

  2. Plug out the adjustment pieces from the compartment.

  3. Place the adjustment pieces to the middle of the compartment as shown.

  4. Load the paper roll into the paper compartment.

  5. Close the cover until it locks into place.

Loading Fanfold A4 Paper

  1. Press both release buttons to unlock the cover.

  2. Lift the cover up to open it.

  3. Close the cover until it locks into place.

  4. Turn on the printer.

  5. Use both hands to hold the paper straight, and then insert it with the black marks facing down until the printer draws in and locks the paper.

NOTE

  • When loading fanfold paper, make sure the bottom edge of the paper is parallel to the roller.
  • Only one side of the paper can be printed on. Check the paper that it is loaded with the smooth, thermal side facing up.

RECHARGING THE PRINTER

  1. Connect the printer to a USB wall charger (not included) using the included USB-A to C cable.

  2. Disconnect the printer when it is fully charged.

Note

  • The power LED will be in solid white when the printer is fully charged.

MAINTENANCE

Printer Head Cleaning Steps:

  1. Turn the printer off, remove the power cord, and open the cover.
  2. Wait until the printer head cools down. The printer head can be very hot after printing.
  3. Completely clean printer head using an alcohol swap (not water).
  4. Wait until the alcohol has completely vaporized, then close the cover.

NOTE

  • Ensure power is off when performing maintenance.
  • Do not touch or scratch the printer head surface, roller, or sensors.
  • Avoid gas, acetone, or other organic solvents.

SAFETY NOTICE

  • The printer head can become very hot after printing. Do not touch the printer head.
  • Do not bend the power cord excessively or place objects on the cord.
  • Do not use the printer if you find any irregularities as these could result in fire or electrocution.
  • Keep the printer out of reach of children.
  • Use only approved accessories and do not try to disassemble, repair the unit by yourself.
  • Keep the printer away from water and other objects that could penetrate the components
