Hisense HFG To LPG Conversion Kit

WARNING
This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualified service agency according to the manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. If the information in these instructions is not followed exactly, a fire, explosion, or production of carbon monoxide may result causing property damage, personal injury, or loss of life. The qualified service agency is responsible for the proper installation of this kit. The installation is not proper and complete until the operation of the converted appliance is checked as specified in the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the kit.

Broil burner injector (orifice) replacement

  1. Remove oven doors from the cooker.
  2. Unscrew 4 screws that are holding the broil burner reflective sheet to the oven ceiling.
  3. Unscrew 1 screw that is holding the broil burner on the front side while holding the burner.
  4. Move the burner aside to reach the injector (orifice). Make sure there is no strain on the hot surface igniter. It can be unplugged at the back of the appliance.
  5. Replace the injector (orifice) according to the table of injectors (orifices) using a 9/32’’ or 7 mm nut driver.
  6. Reverse the procedure to reassemble the burner.

Bake burner injector (orifice) replacement

  1. Remove the drawer from the range cooker.
  2. Unscrew the nut on the gas tube connection with the gas pressure regulator using a 9/16’’ or adjustable wrench.
  3. Unscrew two screws that are holding the injector (orifice) holder from the back side of the range cooker base.
  4. Remove the gas tube with the injector (orifice) holder towards you.
  5. Replace the injector (orifice) according to the table of injectors (orifices) using a 9/32’’ or 7 mm nut driver.
  6. Align the gas tube with the injector holder back to the gas pressure regulator and tighten it with your hand.
  7. Screw the injector (orifice) holder back into the range cooker base.
  8. Tighten the gas tube connection with the gas pressure regulator using a 9/16’’ or adjustable wrench.
  9. Check the gas tightness of the connection of the gas tube with the gas pressure regulator with soapy water. The bake function has to be on at this time.

Gas pressure regulator conversion

  1. Remove the drawer from the range cooker.
  2. Unscrew the nut on the gas pressure regulator using _a 5/8’’ or adjustable wrench.
  3. Remove the protection cap.
  4. Turn the metal nut on the counter side and assemble the protection cap back.
  5. Screw the nut back to the gas pressure regulator, making sure that the internal spring is aligned with the nut. Do not over-tighten.

Cooktop burner injector (orifice) replacement

  1. Remove the grates, burner caps, and burner heads from all burners.
  2. Replace the injector (orifice) according to the table of injectors (orifices) using a 9/32’’ or 7 mm nut driver.
  3. Reassemble burner heads, caps, and grates.

Adjusting minimum flow

  1. Turn on all top burners and set them on the “LO” setting.
  2. Remove the knobs and fully tighten the regulation screws using a small flat-blade screwdriver.
  3. Do not over-tighten. If the flame is too low, rotate screw counterclockwise to increase.

NOTE!
Adjustment of minimum flow for burner 2 on HFG models is not needed.

Cooktop burners and nozzle marking

  1. Ultra-rapid burner: HBG model A Burner 2
  2. Simmer burner: HFG model B Burner 1, 3, 4 and 5
  3. Rapid burner C Gas orifice
  4. Auxiliary burner
  5. Semi-rapid burner
