ZACUTO ACT Universal Cage Recoil Rig

Product Specifications:

Product Usage Instructions

Mounting Camera to ACT Baseplate:

  1. Remove Camera Plate from baseplate by loosening the ratcheting lever and sliding the Camera Plate out the back end of the baseplate.
  2. Push up camera Safety Latch to unlock the Camera Plate.
  3. Screw the camera to Camera Plate.
  4. Slide Camera Plate back into the baseplate making sure to push in the Safety Latch release.

Adjusting Rods:

  1. Attach rods to ACT Baseplate by loosening the ratcheting lever, sliding rods into place, and then re-tighten the lever.
  2. Adjust rod height by loosening both front allen screws equally.
  3. Slide rods up or down for desired position and re-lock fallen screws.

Tactical Handle Positions:
Loosen the red lever and rotate the handle to adjust the position as needed.

MOUNTING TO ACT MOUNTING PLATE:
Mount your ACT Camera Plate or ACT Baseplate directly to an ACT Mounting Plate for instant tripod readiness.

The ACT Recoil System:
The system is designed to facilitate keeping your rig balanced when changing lenses. Simply slide the Camera Plate forward or back using the ratcheting lever.

For shorter lenses, slide the Camera Plate forward; for longer lenses, slide it back.

TACTICAL HANDLE POSITIONS

  • Loosen the red lever and rotate handle to adjust position.

  • Mount your ACT Camera Plate or ACT Baseplate diretly to an ACT Mounting Plate for instant tripod readiness.

MOUNTING CAMERA TO ACT BASEPLATE

  • Remove Camera Plate from baseplate by loosening the ratcheting lever and sliding the Camera Plate out the back end of the baseplate. Push up camera Safety Latch to unlock the Camera Plate. Screw camera to Camera Plate.
  • Slide Camera Plate back into baseplate. Making sure to push in the Safety Latch release.
