Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover defects due to incorrect setup or installation, improper use, external factors, unapproved repairs or modifications, lack of maintenance as per the user manual, and natural wear and tear. Warranty BE Miele Belgium (Miele n.v., Z.5 Mollem 480, 1730 Mollem) grants the buyer – in addition to the statutorily granted rights to make warranty claims against the seller and without limitation this – a right to a warranty on new devices, taking into account the following warranty obligations: I. Warranty conditions

  1.  The appliance was purchased through an authorized Miele dealer or directly from Miele in an EU Member State, the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Norway and is also established there.
  2. Service and repairs under this warranty may only be carried out by the after-sales service from Miele or a service partner authorized by Miele. The Miele after-sales service can be contacted via Miele. be/service.

Contents and scope of the warranty

  1. Defects to the device will be resolved free of charge within a reasonable period after notification by the user by repairing or replacing the parts in question.

  4. The supply of consumables and accessories is not covered by the warranty.

Limitations of the Warranty

  1. Incorrect setup or installation, e.g. failure to observe applicable regulations safety regulations or the written operating, installation and assembly instructions.

Conditions of the water damage protection guarantee
Miele grants the buyer – in addition to the legal and contractual rights that the latter can assert against the seller and Miele and without the restriction of these rights – the right to resort to the following provisions of the protection guarantee against water damage for new household appliances equipped with a water protection system water leaks (hereinafter referred to as “the device” or “the devices”)

Content and scope of the water damage protection guarantee

  1. Miele pays the buyer damages for material damage suffered due to a defect in the level of the water leak protection system of the appliance.
  2. The amount of compensation depends on the value of the damaged goods at the time the damage occurs.
  3. The amount of damages that can be claimed from Miele under the protection guarantee against water damage is capped at €15,000.00 per claim.
  4. The water damage protection guarantee does not cover any claims for compensation supplement addressed to Miele.
