SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE

  1. Remove all packaging. Inspect the appliance to make sure It Is In good condition.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth and allow to dry.
  3. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  4. Arrange the appliance so it is away from other kitchen appliances and not up against a wall.
  5. Do not place near flammable material. curtains. under wall cabinets. etc.
  6. Plug the appliance into a wall outlet. Rotate the temperature control knob to turn on and preheat for 10 minutes.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE : Harmless smoke and a mild smell may be emitted from the appliance the first time it 1s heated. This is normal and does not affect safety or performance.

  1. Plug the appliance into a wall outlet. Rotate the temperature control knob to turn on and preheat for 10 minutes.

  2. Place cookware with prepared food onto the warming tray.

  3. Turn the temperature control knob to your desired setting.
    NOTE : Appliance will turn ON and OFF during operation to maintain temperature and prevent overheating.

  4. When finished, turn off and unplug the warming tray. Allow the appliance to cool.

USAGE TIPS

  • It is recommended that you do not keep the appliance on for more than 6 to 8 hours at a time.
  • Food must be thoroughly cooked before placing on a warming tray.
  • Food must be already hot before placing on the warming tray: the appliance is not designed to heat food from cold or frozen.
  • Do not place raw meat on the warming tray: meat can’t be cooked.
  • After turning off. warming tray will retain heat for a few minutes as it cools down.
  • Avoid dropping or slamming items onto the warming tray.
  • The appliance is intended for household use and applications such as l<itchens. offices. hotels, bed and breakfast environments, and more.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

NOTE : Do not immerse or soak the unit in water or any other liquid.

  • Unplug and let the appliance cool for approximately 90 minutes before cleaning or storage.
  • The appliance is not dishwasher safe.
  • Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a nonabrasive glass cleaner and a small amount of mild detergent.
  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
  • Do not clean with steel wool. abrasive detergents. or corrosive liquids like gasoline or acetone.
  • Dry the appliance with a soft cloth. Place unit 1n a cool. well-ventilated place until completely dry.
  • Store in a cool. dry place away from direct sunlight.
