General Safety Information

  • To reduce the risk of death, personal injury or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
  • Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, follow these general precautions.
  • Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
  • DO NOT INSTALL DAMAGED PRODUCT!
  • This fixture is intended to be connected to a properly installed and grounded UL listed junction box.

WARNING:
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

  • Turn off electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply.
  • Turn off the power when you perform any maintenance.
  • Verify that supply voltage is correct by comparing it with the luminaire label information.
  • Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any applicable local code requirements.
  • All wiring connections should be capped with UL approved wire connectors.

RISK OF INJURY

  • Wear gloves and safety glasses at all times when removing luminaire from carton, installing, servicing or performing maintenance.
  • Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
  • Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.

  • Keep combustible and other materials that can burn away from luminaire and lamp/lens
  • Do not mount to flammable or combustible surfaces.

All units must be individually connected to the AC supply.

CCT and Wattage Switch

  1. Unfasten the M6x20MM hex screw with an Allen wrench and open the fixture. **(Fig. 1, Fig. 2)

  1. Select the desired CCT and Wattage level (Fig. 3)

    Note: Wattage switch on model CPL60UWCSBCR Only

  2. Close the fixture and secure it with the hex screw loosened in step 1. **(Fig. 4)

Installation

Surface Mount:

  1. Unfasten and remove the screw from the surface mount plate. (Fig. 1)

  2. Slide the surface mount plate out and up to remove it from the fixture. The metal ring needs to be removed from the metal bracket holding it in place. (Fig. 2)

  3. Mount the surface mount plate onto the J-box. (Fig. 3)

  4. Secure the fixture onto the surface mount plate by sliding the metal ring back into place under the metal bracket on the fixture. (Fig. 4)

  5. Wire fixture (according to diagram above.)

  6. Lift the fixture and slide it back into place, secure it to the surface mount plate with the screw removed in step 1. (Fig. 5)

Pendant Mount:

  1. Remove the 3/4″ NPT plug. (Fig. 1)

    Note: Before screwing the pipe into the fixture, add one (1) washer nut onto the pipe. Screw the pipe into the fixture and feed the wires through it. (Fig. 2)

  2. Secure the pipe by tightening the washer nut. (Fig. 2

c-Max Installation Instructions

  1. Unfasten the M6x20MM hex screw with an Allen wrench and open the fixture. **(Fig. 1, Fig. 2)

  1. Remove the silicone plug from the USB-C receptacle. (Fig. 3)

  2. Install the sensor and secure it with the screw included with it. **(Fig. 4, Fig. 5)

  1. Replace the silicone plug over the screw on the sensor. **(Fig. 6)

EM Installation (Model Numbers with Suffix -E2)

  1. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the knockout cap from the back of the EM extension box (Fig. 1).

  2. Remove the twelve (12) M4 hex head screws and set aside for later use. Separate the fixture and EM extension cover from the EM extension box (Fig. 2).

  3. Drill mounting holes in the EM extension box in the four (4) corners of the extension box.

  4. Drill through the raised hole locations on the junction box template in the center of the box that correspond to the mounting points on the intended junction box. (Fig. 3).

  5. Fasten the EM extension box to the junction box with screws, and secure it to the ceiling using four (4) bolts in the four drilled locations from step 3.

  6. Pull the input wires through the hole in the back of the EM extension box and wire the fixture according to the wiring diagrams above.

  7. Place the EM extension cover and canopy fixture back in place and secure it with the twelve (12) M4 screws removed in step 1 (Fig. 4).

Visual Comfort Lens Installation (Optional Accessory)

  1. Attach the Visual Comfort lens to the four (4) corners of the fixture and secure it with the four (4) included screws.
