Parts list

Before discarding any packing materials, check the box and verify all items in the parts list are included.

The following parts are used for assembling the Rizer Head Lift Frame.

The following parts are used for attaching the Rizer Head Lift Frame to the adjustable base.

The Rizer Head Lift Frame King size is used for adjustable bases in King and CK sizes.
The Rizer Head Lift Frame Queen size is used for adjustable bases in Queen and Full sizes.
The Rizer Head Lift Frame TXL size is used for adjustable bases in TXL and SCK sizes.

Assembling the Rizer accessory

1. Open the box and cut all zip ties.
   NOTES: Remove the cardboard block and divide them into two. Set the boards aside for use later
   

2. Lay out the Foot Frame and insert the Lower Frame Connector Bars. Attach with 4 screws. Do not tighten.
   

3. Attach the Foot frame assembled in step 4 to the Head Frame assembly using 4 screws. Do not tighten.
   

4. Lay out the Upper Frame extenders so that the mounting tabs face outwards. Insert the Upper Frame Connector Bars into each Extender and attach with 4 screws. Do not tighten. Insert the Extenders with Upper Frame Connector Bars into the assembly from step 5. The mounting tabs should face outwards.
   

5. Connect the Upper Frame extenders to the yokes on the Foot frame using the Pins and Clips.
   

6. Using the set aside cardboard blocks from Step 2, lift the upper portion of the Head Frame Assembly, and use the blocks to support the frame. Inserts 4 screws to connect the Upper Frame extenders to the Head Frame assembly. Tighten all bolts completely using Allen wrench.
   

Installing the Rizer to the adjustable base

NOTE: If setting up your adjustable base for the 1st time, follow the instruction manual for assembly. Do not attach the legs to the adjustable base. If you are adding the Rizer to your current Remedy III or Contempo IV, remove the motion sensors and legs prior to attaching to the Rizer.

1. Starting with the adjustable base inverted (with the underside facing upward), Lift and flip the Rizer onto the base.
   NOTE : The lift motor for the Rizer should be towards the head of the adjustable base.

2. Attach the Rizer to the base using the bolts, lock washers and washers. Do not tighten until all 6 bolts have
   been started.
   

3. Thread the legs into the Rizer.
   There are 2 recommended leg height options to use. Use the 8″ legs by themselves for an overall height of 17.25″ from the floor to the top of base. Use the 3″ and 2″ legs combined for an overall height of 14.25″ from the floor to the top of the base.
   NOTE: It is NOT recommended to use any other height options
   

4. FOR TXL – QUEEN SIZE: Insert the white cable (TXL-Queen) from the Rizer into the corresponding lift port opening on the control box of the adjustable base.
   

5. Attach the motion sensors onto the center legs so they face the outside of the Rizer and tighten strap to secure.
   NOTE: The motion sensor light cable is connected to the control box. Allow enough cable length for the Rizer to function accordingly. You may cut the zip tie to extend the cable length. The sensor light must face outward so it can detect movement and light up when people walk by. The sensors light up automatically in a dim environment.

Rize Home Adjustable Base Accessory 20 Year Limited Warranty

Rize Home is committed to providing high-quality bedding products. We stand behind the durability and workmanship of our products and provide this 20-Year Limited Warranty to give you peace of mind. Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, the manufacturer of this product, Rize Home, LLC, warrants to the original retail purchaser for the time periods stated herein that the adjustable bed system purchased from an authorized reseller of genuine Rize Home, LLC products is merchantable and free of defects and materials and is fit for the purpose of residential bedding. Floor samples are not warranted and are purchased AS IS. This warranty applies only to genuine Rize Home, LLC products and does not apply to parts or other accessories supplied by the seller or other parties. This Limited Warranty is not transferable and coverage terminates if the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product.

COVERAGE DETAILS

Start of Warranty Period:: The warranty period stated above will commence on the date of the first retail purchase of the adjustable bed system from an authorized Rize Home, LLC reseller, provided proof of purchase and warranty registration occur within the time and in the manner set forth below. In the case of replacement parts provided by Rize Home, LLC, the warranty will apply to the original warranty period and will not extend beyond such period.

5-Year Period for All Labor and Components: The above warranty is effective as of the date of purchase and will apply for 5 years for labor on the bed frame, all components, parts, including, without limitation, electronics, electrical components, drive motors, power supply, and power cords.

20-Year Period for Bed Frame (Prorated): The above warranty will apply for 20 years prorated to the bed frame, defined as follows: the metal structure of the adjustable bed system only, and specifically does not include other attachments thereto, such as electrical or mechanical components. For years 6 through 20, the warranty will be reduced by one-fifteenth (1/15) for each year beyond the fifth year. For purposes of illustration, if the defect occurs in the sixth through twentieth year for the bed frame bought new, purchaser shall pay 1/15th of the then current replacement cost of the defective bed frame multiplied by the number of years the purchaser has owned the adjustable bed beyond five years. Rize Home, LLC shall bear the remainder cost of the replacement bed frame.

In the event of a problem that you think is a defect, please follow the claim process outlined below:

Prior to contacting Rize Home, LLC, please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the product manual and ensure that use and maintenance instructions in the manual have been followed. For additional troubleshooting, please visit rizehome.com.

Place warranty claim within 30 days of your notice of the problem via the online Warranty Inquiry Form, found at rizehome.com. Fill in all requested information noted on the form. Be sure to include proof of purchase and documentation (pdfs, pictures, or videos) showing the issue.

Exclusions – Additional Terms and Conditions

Rize Home, LLC excludes warranty coverage for loss, damage, malfunctions, or other defects caused in whole or in part by any one or more of the following, and neither Rize Home, LLC nor the seller shall be responsible for them: ordinary wear and tear; damage not directly caused by a defect covered by this express warranty; failure to comply with the owner’s manual and/or any other user instructions issued by Rize Home, LLC for use and maintenance, including without limitation, weight limits and operation; modifications not performed by Rize Home, LLC; use of any parts, components, or accessories that are not supplied by Rize Home, LLC for the specific product and installed by an authorized Rize Home, LLC service provider; use of the product for purposes or in a manner not expressly intended by Rize Home, LLC as described in the owner’s manual or any other misuse or abuse; storage or use outside of home or other exposure to the elements; dampness; or transportation or other handling by anyone other than Rize Home, LLC. This warranty does not cover any reimbursement of labor, shipping costs, nor any product not properly installed.

THIS WARRANTY REPLACES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PURPOSE. THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE ITEMS WITHIN WARRANTY TO THE EXTENT AND IN THE MANNER PROVIDED HEREIN. IN NO EVENT SHALL RIZE HOME, LLC BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES SUSTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCT OR ITS USE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

No one is authorized to assume or undertake any other liability on behalf of Rize Home, LLC in connection with the sale of the Product.

No reimbursement will be made to the purchaser for the inconvenience, removal, installation, setup time, lack of use, shipping, or any other costs or expenses not covered by this limited warranty. Rize Home, LLC holds no responsibility for in-home service on adjustable beds. Purchaser should contact their dealer for any terms and conditions relating to purchaser’s in- home service if any. Removal of the product tag shall void the warranty. The product tag has both the model and serial numbers, which serves as a means of identification to establish one’s warranty rights. It is attached to the metal substructure visible when one lifts the head of the base.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights which may vary from state to state.
