Using the Rize Home mobile app

Your adjustable bed can be controlled using your iOS or Android smart device through the Rize Home mobile app.
Before connecting your bed to the mobile app, do the following:

• Make sure your adjustable bed is plugged into a working electrical outlet and the control box is on.
• Download and install the Rize Home mobile app from the App Store® or the Google Play Store™.
• For iOS users, turn on your device’s Bluetooth®.
• For Android users, turn on your device’s Bluetooth® and Location settings.
  

Connecting to your adjustable bed

1. If you are connecting the mobile app to your bed for the first time, enable the mobile device pairing mode on your bed’s control box.
   Do one of the following:

   • Unplug the power cord from the outlet and then plug it back in. The LED light on the control box turns blue. After 20 seconds, the LED light turns green and the control box enters mobile device pairing mode.
   • On the control box, press the PAIR button twice. The LED light turns blue. After 20 seconds, the LED light turns green and the control box enters the mobile device pairing mode.
     Option 1. Unplug the power cord, and then plug it back in.
     
     Option 2. Press the PAIR button on the control box twice.
     

2.  From your mobile device, launch the app, and then select your adjustable bed model.

3. From the pop-up, tap Reconnect.

4. From the Add Device screen, select the Bluetooth name of your adjustable bed. The name of your adjustable bed is on the sticker on the front cover of the Owner’s Manual and on the bed’s control box.

NOTES:

• If your bed is not on the Devices list, make sure your bed is in mobile device pairing mode. See step 1 for options to enable the mobile device pairing mode on your bed’s control box.
• You can only connect one smart device to one adjustable bed at a time.
• The bed is automatically disconnected from the app when you close the app (not running in the background) or move out of range of the connection. Pair the bed to the app again next time you use the app.

Controlling the different sections of your bed

To move the different sections of the adjustable bed, tap and hold the arrow up 1′ or arrow down ~ button of the specific section .
The sections vary depending on your bed. The sections are Head, Foot, Lumbar, Elevate, and Head Tilt.

NOTE: The Elevate function is available only with the Riser kit. Riser kit is sold separately.

To turn the underbid light on or off, tap the Underbid Light button.
To control the different sections using voice commands, tap the microphone button. The Voice Commands List can be found on page 13 and 14 and on the app. To switch between the screens of your app, swipe left or right.

Controlling the bed presets

To move the adjustable bed according to the pre-configured or saved position, tap the preset buttons on the app .
The preset buttons on the app vary depending on your bed. The preset buttons
are Anti-Snore, Leisure, Zero Gravity, Reading, Flat, and Memory. To customize the presets, adjust your bed to the desired position then tap and hold the preset button for 5 seconds.

NOTES:

• This is only available for Reading, Leisure, Zero Gravity, and Memory buttons.
• To restore the preset positions back to factory settings, reset the system using the remote control. For more information, see the “Resetting the system” instructions on your Owner’s Manual.

To activate the presets using voice commands, tap the microphone button. The Voice Commands List can be found on page 13 and 14 and on the app.
To switch between the screens of your app, swipe left or right.

Controlling the massage feature – Remedy III

To turn massage on or off, tap the ON/OFF button. Turning the massage on activates the massage screen.
To set the massage timer, tap the TIMER button to switch between 10-minute, 20-minute, and 30-minute durations.
To change the the massage intensity, tap the INTENSITY button to switch between different intensities.
To activate the massage feature using voice commands, tap the microphone button. The Voice Commands List can be found on page 13 and 14 and on the app.
To switch between the screens of your app, swipe left or right.

To turn massage on or off, tap the ON/OFF button. Turning the massage on activates the massage screen .
To set the massage timer, tap the TIMER button to switch between 10-minute, 20-minute, and 30-minute durations.
To change the massage mode, tap the MODE button to choose between Mode 1, Mode 2, and Mode 3.
To change the massage intensity for the head section, tap HEAD button.
To change the massage intensity for the foot section, tap FOOT button.
To activate the massage feature using voice commands, tap the microphone button. The Voice Commands List can be found on page 13 and 14 and on the app.
To switch between the screens of your app, swipe left or right.

Locking the app screen

TO LOCK

1. Pull the screen down and hold for 5 seconds. A timer indicator appears.
2. Release after indicator shows 5 seconds, and the screen locks.

TO UNLOCK

1. On a locked screen, pull the screen down and hold for 5 seconds. A timer indicator appears.
2. Release after indicator shows 5 seconds, and the screen unlocks.
   

Switching the app to dark mode

1. Tap the gear icon on the upper right corner of the app to open the Settings screen.
2. Select Screen Settings.
3. To switch to dark mode, turn on the toggle switch beside Dark Mode.
4. To set the time when app is in dark mode, turn on the toggle switch beside Custom, then set the time for the dark mode setting to turn on and off.
   

Viewing the adjustable bed user manual

1. Tap the gear icon on the upper right corner of the app to open the Settings screen.
2. Select User Manual.
   

Viewing the voice command list

1. Tap the gear icon on the upper right corner of the app to open the Settings screen.
2. Select Command list.
   

Voice Commands List – Remedy III

To activate the functions of your adjustable bed using voice commands, tap the microphone button on your screen.
A message prompts you to say the voice command. If the command is correct, the message disappears and the bed adjusts accordingly.
If the command is incorrect, a pop-up appears prompting you to speak the correct command. To dismiss the prompt after an incorrect command, tap anywhere outside the message. Tap the microphone button again to give the correct voice command.
NOTE: Make sure to speak the exact phrases in the list below for the bed to function properly according to the command.

Head Up – Lifts head section.
Head Down – Lowers head section.
Foot Up – Lifts foot section.
Foot Down – Lowers foot section.

Lifts lumbar section.
Lumbar Down – Lowers lumbar section.
Elevate Up – Lifts the bed elevation or incline.
Elevate Down – Lowers the bed elevation or incline.
Stop – Stops all lift activities.
Reading – Activates the Reading position.
M (Memory) – Activates the saved M (Memory) position.
Snore – Activates the Anti-Snore position.
Leisure – Activates the Leisure position.
Flat – Activates Flat position.
Zero – Activates the Zero Gravity position.
Massage Up – Increases massage intensity by one level.
Massage Down – Decreases massage intensity by one level.
Massage Off – Turns massage motors off.
Toggle Light – Turns the under-bed light on or off.
Motion Sensor On – Activates the motion sensor.
Motion Sensor Off – Turns the motion sensor off.
