TOOLS REQUIRED FOR DISASSEMBLY
- Wire
- Installation tools
DISASSEMBLY
- Use a spudger to pry up the HVAC control board and the board under the radio.
- Use a spudger to pry up the gear stick’s baffle and remove the connected cigarette lighter plug.
- Use a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the radio in place.
- Unplug all the cables from the back of the radio.
- Please be attentive to the small hidden buckle on the radio and avoid damaging the wiring harness when removing it.
PROPOSE
Before starting the replacement job, you should prepare tools such as a
plastic pry tool and a screwdriver, and make sure the car’s power is cut off
during the installation.
INSTALLATION
(If the wiring harness does not match, please contact customer service to request the correct wiring harness)
- Plug the wiring harnesses into the corresponding interface on the back of the car player, and then connect them to the new radio following the original wiring method.
- Ensure that all wiring harnesses are properly installed before starting the car. If the radio can work normally, you can proceed to place the new radio in its original position and secure it.
- Reassemble all the removed panels back into place and you can use the new radio!
NOTE
- For Honda Accord 2003-2007
Make sure to plug the two green connectors below into the decoder port of the player or the A/C will not work. Also, connect the Canbus interface cable and the A/C panel line (in the power cable) into their respective positions, as shown in the right illustration.
