Android Auto Connection
- Insert the product into the USB port of the original car, then the adapter will light up.
- Use the Android phone to connect to the device via Bluetooth.
Important Note
- Install Android Auto app on your phone.
- Pair the phone to both the adapter (for AA) and to the head unit for BT phone audio.
- For Samsung phones: Connect wired first, go into settings, turn wireless on in AA menu, disconnect, and connect via BT.

- Ensure the wired Android Auto function of the head unit works properly before connecting the adapter.
- Check for updates of Android Auto app on your phone.
- Ensure Wireless Android Auto feature is enabled in Android Auto Settings on your phone.
- Disconnect Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of the phone before changing connections.
- Content generated by Wireless Android Auto is unrelated to the Adapter.
- Wireless Android Auto may cause power consumption or heating issues based on various factors.
- If connection fails, restart Android Auto.
- Re-pair Bluetooth or unplug adapter if wireless function is not automatically enabled after car restart.
- This adapter is compatible with most phone brands and models with Android 11.
- If connection issues persist, refer to Google support page for Wireless Android Auto.

Android Auto Connection:

Important Note:
- Need to install Android Auto app on your phone.
- With some head units, please pair the phone to both this adapter (for AA) and to the head unit for BT phone audio.
- For Samsung phone: please try to connect wired first and go into settings as AA isn’t an app anymore and baked into OS on your Samsung phone. Then you turn wireless on in AA menu, disconnect, and should find the device and connect by BT.

Before connecting the adapter, use a phone to connect the wired Android Auto function of the head unit and ensure that the wired Android Auto function can work properly. If the wired Android Auto cannot be used normally, please set it first.
The product is inapplicable if the head unit does not have the wired Android Auto function. -
Check for any updates of Android Auto app for your phone via the Google Play app store.

Check and make sure the Wireless Android Auto feature is enabled in the Android Auto Settings on your phone.

Before changing the phone connection, please disconnect the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of the phone that has been connected to the adapter, or turn on the airplane mode.

The content generated by the wireless Android Auto function (including fonts, music, audio, maps, lyrics, touches, calls, etc.) has nothing to do with this Adapter.

Due to differences in region, phone model, phone brand, and ambient temperature, wireless Android Auto may cause excessive power consumption or obvious heating of the phone, resulting in disconnection or decreased experience.

If the connection fails, please restart the Android Auto.

The wireless Android Auto function may not be automatically enabled when the car is restarted. You can re-establish the connection by re-pairing the Bluetooth or unplugging the adapter.

This adapter is applicable for most phone brands and models with Android 11. You can refer to the Google support page for wireless Android Auto at: https://android.com/auto

German models, such as Volkswagen and Skoda, will have a Bluetooth pairing success, and the “USB recognized” message will appear above the car interface. However, the wireless Android auto function will not automatically pop up. At this point, you need to click on the “Android auto” icon on the car interface. Attention: For models with mirrorlink such as Volkswagen, Peugeot, Citroen, etc., please do not click on the mirrorlink function during the connection process.
If you can’t connect again, please try the following
- Make sure the Android Auto app on your phone is updated to the latest version in the Google Play store.
- Make or receive a call to make sure that your phone is connected to the auto for hands-free calling (Bluetooth HFP). A properly handled Bluetooth HFP phone call will applicable for the auto speakers and microphone.
- Please restart your phone, unplug/replug the adapter, then restart your auto infotainment system.
- Find the list of Bluetooth phones on the car monitor and “forget” or “delete” all paired phones
- Find the application system settings on your phone and select “Android Auto” – “Storage” – “Clear Data” (different phone brands may vary slightly)
- Insert the data cable again and use wired Android Auto to ensure that the wired Android Auto can be connected properly.
- If the wired Android Auto can connect properly, please reinsert the adapter and reconnect the Bluetooth.
- If the wired Android system cannot connect properly, please use the above method for 1st. 2nd. 3rd. 4th. Reactivate the original automatic wired Android
