IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Warning! To avoid the risk of serious injury, carefully read all instructions before operating your AnyBear Slow Juicer. When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following important information.

FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

  1. This juicer system has moving parts, and is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or who lack experience and knowledge of its safe operation. Such persons require close supervision and thorough instruction on its proper use and safe operation.
  2. Make sure the electricity supply is suitable for this unit.
  3. This appliance is for household use only. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use. Do not use outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.
  4. Use the unit only as described in this manual.
  5. To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury to persons, do not immerse the appli­ance, motor base, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  6. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Keep cord out of reach of children. This appliance is not a toy.
  7. Ensure to unplug the unit when not in use, assembling or disassembling, and before cleaning.
  8. Do not let the cords hang over the edge of table or countertop.
  9. Do not place the unit near any explosives, heated oven or hot surfaces.
  10. Always make sure the juicer is properly and completely assembled before connecting to a power outlet and operating.
  11. The continuous operation time of this product should be within 20 minutes. Allow the motor to rest for at least one minute between each use.
  12. No-load or overloaded operation of machine is prohibited.
  13. This juicer is only designed to juice fresh fruits and vegetables. Do not use any frozen fruits or vegetables.Do not juice stone fruit unless pits or seed stone have been removed.
  14. Do not attempt to unlock the feeding chute cover from the juice bowl while the juicer is in operation.
  15. Do not use finger, spoon or chopsticks to push fruits or vegetables into the chute of machine. Only pusher is allowed.
  16. Do not open the cover when it is operating. Add food through the feeding chute.
  17. Ensure that the surface where the appliance operates is stable, level, clean and dry.
  18. Please hold the plug to disconnect from the power socket.
  19. If the parts of product structure is found to be damaged (especially the safety device and power cord), please stop using and contact AnyBear customer service for assistance at support@anybearvip.com.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging materials, plastic bags and labels.
Make sure the electricity supply is 1 20V~ 60Hz.
Clean the feeding tube cover /squeezing auger /juice cup/pulp cup/ juicing bowl/ pusher with soapy water. Then rinse and dry thoroughly. Clean the outside of the base with a clean, damp cloth.

WARNING
Never submerge the Motor Base in water or any other liquid.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Check the position of the pulp plug. Look at the bottom of the Juicing Bowl. Make sure the pulp plug is positioned properly in the pulp spout.
  2. Position the squeezing bowl on the Power base aligning the position of the spouts and the axle.
  3. Put the Squeezing Auger into the bowl. Turn and press down on the head until it is seated securely into place.
  4. Position the chute on the bowl to align the ” .” to the ” ‘” and twist it clock­wise until it clicks the safety lock. Please ensure that the ” .” on the cover aligns with the” ‘)” on the bowl.
  5. Place the juice container under the right juice spout and the pulp container under the left pulp spout.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION

  1. Prepare foods for juicing, ensuring that non-juiceable items are not utilized.

    • Remove any hard seeds, pits, and skins. For instance, peel and pits should be removed fromoranges, lemons, grapefruits, and melons.

    • Cut foods into smaller pieces if necessary to fit into the feed chute.
      The ingredient with long fiber, such as celeries, needs to be cut down to 5-10 cm thin strips to avoid blocking the spout.

    • Refrain from attempting to process thick or hard foods devoid of juice extraction potential.

    • For example, it is not advisable to process bananas, avocados, coconuts, or similar hard foods, as they may damage the motor .

  2. Before the plugging power cord into an outlet, ensure that the power switch is in the “OFF” position. Ensure all parts are well assembled in correct position. Ensure the juice and pulp contain­ers are in their proper positions.

  3. Put the prepared fruits or vegetables into the feeding chute. Lock the cover by pressing on the cover lid.Anybear-SJ-54C-Slow-Juicer- \(9\)

  4. Rotate the power switch to “ON” position to start the juicing opera­tion.
    The power switch has three settings. Rotating the power switch to the “ON” position activates the motor and starts the juicing process. Rotat­ing the power switch to “OFF” turns off the machine, while “REV” indicates reverse rotation, which is only used when something is stuck and you need to unclog the unit.

  5. Push the food down with the pusher only. You can add more food into the juicing bowl during the juicing operation.

  6. During the juicing process, you could keep the Drip-stop Cover closed before the juice is full in the juicing bowl.

BENEFITS OF DRIP-STOP COVER

  • To stop dripping at the end of juicing.
  • To mix the juice with different fruits and vegetables.

NOTE
Please do not use the juicer continuously longer than 20 minutes.

WARNING

  1. Remove hard pits or seeds prior to pressing to prevent possible damage to the squeezing screw.
  2. If making mixed juices, start with harder fruits and then squeeze the softer fruits.
  3. Allow the juicer to run for 30 seconds after the last ingredient has been fed.
  4. FOODS THAT CANNOT BE JUICED:
    Foods that do not contain juice to extract (for example, bananas, avocados, coconuts) Stone fruits that have large pits or seeds that have not been removed
    Hard fruits or thick vegetables rich in fiber and starch
    Frozen fruits or vegetables

DISASSEMBLING METHOD

NOTE
If the juicer overheats, it will turn off automatically to protect the machine. In this case, please turn the juicer to “OFF” . Wait 10 minutes to let the juicer cool down and then turn it on again.

  1. To disassemble the unit after each use and before cleaning. Please turn the juicer to “OFF” position and disconnect the juicer from power source.Anybear-SJ-54C-Slow-Juicer- \(12\)
  2. Remove the Juice and Pulp containers.
  3. Remove the Chute. Turn the chute anti-clockwise until the . . aligns with the “ ‘” sign.Anybear-SJ-54C-Slow-Juicer- \(13\)
  4. Remove the Squeezing Auger by pulling it out upward. If it is very hard, swing gently and pull.
  5. Remove the Squeezing Bowl by lifting it upward vertically.
  6. Open the feeding chute cover by pressing the trigger on the cover.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT
Please wash the juicing parts immediately after each use to prevent pulp from sticking tightly in the Juicing Bowl and Squeezing Auger, which could affect disassembly, cleaning, and juicing performance.

  1. Switch off and unplug the juicer.

  2. Wash the disassembled parts with water. If the mesh is clogged with pulp, please use the provided cleaning brush to remove any residue.
    Attention:

    • Do not use an iron wire brush, abra­sive materials, or sharp objects to clean the unit.
    • Please do not use water above 40°C (104° F).
  3. If there are any residues remaining in the mouth of the pulp spout, please pull out the silicone valve as shown in below and clean it under running water. Press the silicone valve to close it property after cleaning. Anybear-SJ-54C-Slow-Juicer- \(15\)

  4. To clean the seal ring in the center of the squeezing bowl, please follow the steps as below:

    • Turn the Squeezing Bowl upside down for easier handling, Push the seal ring out with your thumb and clean it with water.
    • After Cleaning, please put it back into the center hole. Ensure that the small ribbed surface faces upward and make sure the groove of the seal ring fits well in the squeezing bowl. Anybear-SJ-54C-Slow-Juicer- \(16\)
    • Place the seal ring inside the Squeezing Bowl with the big flat side inward and the small ribbed side outward.
  5. Do not immerse the Power Base in water for cleaning. Wipe it with a damp cloth only.

  6. After cleaning, please ensure that the parts are thoroughly dried and store them in a dry, cool place.

STORAGE

  1. Follow cleaning instructions to well maintain the unit before storage.
  2. Tidy up the power cord set.
  3. Keep the unit away from children’s easy access.
  4. Store the unit and the accessories at a dry, cool place.

NOTE
Please make sure the unit and parts are dry before storing it.

USEFUL TIPS

TROUBLESHOOTING

Trouble Cause Solutions

The juicer stops running suddenly.

| Too many ingredients put into the juicer.| Switch to “REV” position instantly to make the ingredients return upwards. If the machine still stops running, please clean the machine before use.
Hard fruits or vegetables have not been cut into small pieces.| Hard fruits and vegetables (such as carrot) shall be cut into thin strips or small cubes before putting into chute .


The juice yield is low or juice is flowing out of the main housing.

| The silicone valve is not installed properly.| Please re-install the Bowl silicone valve by referring to the installa­ tion method.

Abnormal noise| Parts are causing extrusion sounds during squeezing.| The sound is caused by extrusion of fruits and  vegetables, which is a normal phenomenon.
The Chute & Strainer Assembly cannot be opened .| Too much pulps inside the bowl.| Switch to “REV” setting to eject the pulps backward.
Hard food stuck inside| Switch to “REV” setting to eject the object backward .
Some pulps are stuck inside .| ****

| To loosen the stuck pulp mess, pour water into the Chute  and  let it soak for some time.
The container & accessories are dyed after use.| Dyed parts are caused by the natural color of specific fruits/ veggies.| This is the natural color **** and is unavoidable.|
