Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
- Install the mounting bracket on the water or gas pipe/valve.
- Place the smart controller above the valve, ensuring the controller shaft is in line with the valve handle axis.
- Tighten the screws at both ends of the mounting bracket to align the valve controller shaft with the valve center shaft.
- Manually pull the clutch ring down to check if the valve opens and closes properly.
- Connect the device to power.
Connection and Usage:
- Ensure the LED indicator is flashing quickly. If not, hold the power button for 5 seconds until the LED blinks.
- Open the Nous Smart Home app.
- Choose your Zigbee hub/gateway.
- Press +(add subdevice) in the app.
- Confirm the LED is blinking and start the connection process.
- Once paired, the smart valve is ready for use.
Tips:
- To reset the device, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until the LED blinks.
- If there is no WiFi, a short press on the power button can open and close the valve if needed.
- If there is no power, manually pull the clutch ring down to open or close the valve.
Note: To prevent your valve from stiffening over time, it is recommended to schedule a simple open-close sequence a few times a month.

How to install
- Install mounting braket on the water or gas pipe/valve
- Place the smart controller above valve and make sure that the controller shaft is directly inline with the axis of valve handle
- Tighten the screws at the both ends of the mounting braket (Make sure that center of the valve controller shaft is on the same axis as the valve center shaft, otherwise, the valve cannot be completely closed and opened)
- After that you can manually pull clutch ring down and check if the valve is opens and closes
- Connect device to the power
How to connect and use
- Make sure that the led indicator is flashing quickly. If not, hold the power button for 5 seconds untill the led starts blinking
- open Nous Smart Home app
- choose your zigbee hub/gateway
- press +(add subdevice)
- confirm that the led is blinking and start connection
- after pairing the smart valve is ready to be used.
Tips

light is starts blinking(device ready to be paired again)
If there is no WiFi – short press on power button will open and close the
valve if needed. Untill the hub/gateway is active, all saved schedules and
scenarios will work even without wifi connection.
If there is no power – pull the clutch ring down and open or close the valve manually
For preventing your valve to be stiffed with time, we would recommend you to schedule simple close-open sequence few time in a month.
