Function Description

  • Wind-resistant, streamlined shape/shock-resistant design

  • Built-in 750 mAh lithium-ion battery
    Built-in high-performance rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts for about 1 hour of HD-quality recording. (Each lithium-ion battery has different storage characteristics,so the recording time may vary slightly.) In case of a sudden power failure, it can automatically save the last file and turn off the camera automatically.

  • SD Card
    Supports high-capacity Micro SD/ Micro SDHC memory cards up to 128GB, and is highly recommended to use a well-known brand of memory card.

  • Night vision capabilities
    Equipped with a large Fl .8 aperture, 6 sets of all-glass spherical lenses to increase light transmittance and reduce reflectivity, and a SONY 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor. These features allow for high-quality images even in low-light conditions, such as night scenes or cloudy days.

Installation Methods

Memory card installation method
Open the back cover and insert the card with the text portion facing up.

Helmet Bracket Installation Method

  1. Press the mounting base firmly onto the bottom of the R3 so that the R3 is tightly seated against the base.TNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-13
  2. Press the two parts in the helmet bracket kit into place by aligning the grooves as shown.TNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-14

  4. Insert the assembled bracket parallel to the base.TNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-16
  5. Attach the 3M fixing adhesive to the base.TNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-17
  6. Align the bracket with the holes in the R3 mounting base and tighten, then peel off the 3M adhesive cover film to stick it to the helmet.TNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-18

Handlebar Bracket Installation Method

  1. Press the mounting base firmly onto the bottom of the R3 so that the R3 is tightly seated against the baseTNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-19
  2.  Align the bracket with the holes in the R3 mounting base and tighten it to complete the installation, then you can snap it onto the handlebar.TNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-20

Velcro Installation Method

  1. Wipe the spot where you want to mount the R3 and attach the velcro to it.TNICER-R3-Motorcycle-Helmet-Camera-fig-21

Operation of Recording Functions

Please insert the memory card first. Make sure the device is turned off before inserting the memory card.

  1. Power On: Long press the power button for 3 seconds, until the video recording indicator red light is on and flashing regularly.
  2. Turn on WIFI: Under the power-on state, short press the power button once, and the device will enter the pause recording state and will turn on the WIFI, at this time the indicator blue light flashes regularly.
  3. Connect to cell phone : Open WIFI in the settings of the cell phone, select “TNICER_R3_xxxxxx· in the list to connect, enter the password. ‘12345678’ to complete the connection. After a successful connection, the device indicator light will be on, and then you can open the camera APP.
  4. APP operation : Press the start recording button in APP, the device will start recording and turn off WIFI after 5 seconds.

Shutdown: Long press the power button for 3 seconds to shut down the device in any power-on state.
Note:
If you are using a memory card that already has files stored on it, you need to format the card and make sure there are no files in other formats before using it on the R3, otherwise, the file format will make it impossible to turn on the computer and record video.

Introduction of Video Application Usage

Scan the QR code below to download the “AVDEO” APP to your cell phone (iOS users can directly search “AVDEO” in the App Store to download).

Tips

  1. The video recording function of R3 does not need to rely on the APP to use.
  2. The APP is only used for online preview or to download the videos recorded by R3 to the mobile phone. The functions of the APP itself do not represent the functions of R3, the specific situation shall prevail.
  3. The following recommended APP is a public version produced by a third-party company and it is not TNICER’s product. The third-party reserves the right of interpretation. Issues about the after-sales of the APP or about compatibility between the APP and mobile phone are not covered by TNICER’s after-sales guaranteed area.

After the R3 is connected to WIFI, enter the APP. Click on the upper right corner to enter the dash cam setting.
“AVDEO” APP Introduction and Operation

  1. Video Resolution : Recording resolution can be selected from FHD P30 / HD P30.
  2. Brightness: Select the sensor brightness. -1 is the darkest, + 1 is the brightest.c
  3. Loop Recording : The length of a single recording file can be set to 2min/3min/Smin.
  4. Event Lock: The degree of crash sensing sensitivity when a crash occurs during recording (low-mid-high).
  5. SD Format : After selecting this option, you can choose whether to format or not according to the pop-up window.
  6. Option to export video files to MP4 or TS format.

Using the waterproof charging cable
The device can synchronize charging and recording when using the waterproof charging cable. When you don’t need to record, just turn off the power to stop recording and save the file.

Operation of Recording Functions

  1. lease avoid water damage to the camcorder. The back cover of the case is a waterproof barrier material that protects your camcorder in wet environments. Please keep the back cover of the case clean. If you want to clean the rear cover, please scrub it with a damp towel.

  2. This product is shockproof but not drop-resistant, do not let the camcorder suffer a high impact, the machine accidentally dropped may cause the lens out of position and the image blurred; or the internal board parts loose.

  3. It is strongly recommended that after outdoor use, please remove the camera from the bracket, use a clean soft cloth to wipe the camera clean and open the back cover and place it in a well-ventilated area to avoid prolonged outdoor exposure to the sun. PS: Please do not open the back cover of the camera when the exterior of the machine is wet to avoid rainwater from entering the interior of the machine. The internal waterproof sticker will be discoloured by moisture and will be judged as improper use.

  4. When the transparent lens in front of the lens is dirty, please rinse it with water and wipe it with a clean soft cloth, do not use organic solvents such as alcohol to wipe it.

  5. When inserting or removing the Micro SD/ Micro SDHC card, please make sure that the power has been turned off, otherwise the card may be damaged; when inserting the card, please insert the card horizontally and gently, inserting the card in a crooked position may cause damage to the slot of the card and prevent it from reading the data.

  6. When the camera sends data to the computer, please do not interrupt the data cable to cause the loss of device data.

  7. When using the Velcro mounting method, please wipe the mounting position with alcohol cotton pads before pasting.

  8. Do not use non-original data cable (and home direct charger). The use of non-original data cable may cause the memory card can not be read; the use of non-original charging accessories may cause abnormal operation of
    the device.

  9. ) The operating temperature of the camera is -10 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius. Do not place the device alone in a high-temperature environment, so as not to cause wear and tear of the electronic components in the device and lithium battery life decline.
