Thank you for choosing to purchase the electric blanket from Mia&Coco. The cozy blanket will pleasantly warm your body or specific body regions and increase your general well-being. The device is intended exclusively for domestic use, not for commercial applications or use in hospitals or medical offices. Please read the entire manual carefully prior to first use and keep it in a safe place for future reference. It will be helpful in case you hand this device over to another person. CONNECT THE CORD

  1. When connecting, pinch the buttons on both sides of “C1”, insert them into “C2”, and confirm that the connection is secured.
  2. When pulling out, pinch the buttons on both sides of “C1” and pull out.

Attention
Ensure that the heated blanket is not pinched. Please ensure that the heated blanket covers the object loosely. Accumulation of heat must be prevented. Use only original parts! Do not attach any other control unit!

HOW TO USE THE CONTROLLER

WARNING:

  1. DO NOT plug into the wall outlet until the controller and the blanket are fully connected with the buckle connection tightly secured.
  2. DO NOT leave the remote control underneath the blanket, wrapped in the blanket, or on top of the blanket while it is turned on and in use.

  • • Button “B”: Power on
    Follow these steps to use the blanket each time:
1. Ensure the buckle connector is tightly coupled and plug the cord into the wall outlet.
2. Press the Power button’B”. To prevent accidental touch, the “A1” and “A2” indicators display “-‘ and flashes, which means the product is now on standby and has not yet started working.
3. During the standby stage, press any other button (except the on/off button”B) within 10 seconds, and the product will start to heat.
4. The default values when powered on are as follows: heat level 4 (shown in “A1”) and timer level 3 (shown in “A2”).
  • Button “B”: Power off
    If the product is in working status and you want to shut it down, press the Power button’B”, then the screen will go off and will not display any numbers. The blanket will power off immediately as well.
    Note: If you are not planning to use the product in a few hours, it’s recommended to unplug the product from the power outlet.

  • Display indicator “A1”; “A2”:

1. “A1” is a section containing a red heating icon and red number. The number indicates the temperature level, which is “1~2~3~4~5~6~7~8~9~H*, a total of 10 levels. “1” is the lowest level, and “H’ is the highest level. You can set different temperature levels according to your needs. °8
2. “A2” is a section containing a green timing icon and green number. The number shows the remaining time, which is 1~2~3~4~5~6~7~8~9′, a total of 9 levels, corresponding to 1-9 hours. When the timer is active, the green number shows the remaining time until the timer ends.
  • Button “D”: PREHEAT
    This function allows you to warm up quickly for convenient and straightforward daily operations and use it usually for a long time.
1. Press the ‘PREHEAT” button, indicator A1 will display “P”, and the blanket will work on the “H” heat level for one hour.
2. After one hour, the program will automatically return to the last heat and timer setting level and continue working.
  • Button “C”: HEAT/TIMER Switch
    To adjust the heating level and timer setting, use the HEAT/TIMER Switch button(“C”) and Decrease/Increase button(“E”)
1.  After powering on, press the “C” button, the default timer indicator “A2” will flashes. This is in the timer adjustment mode.
2. Press the “C” switch button again and the heat indicator “A1” will begin to flash. This is in the temperature adjustment mode.
3. The indicator will stop flashing after flashing for 5 seconds if no other operations occur.
  • Button “E”: Decrease / Increase
    Temperature adjustment:
1.  When the “A1” heat indicator flashes, the controller is in temperature adjustment mode.
2. Press the ‘+’ key to increase the heat level, incrementing by one with each click. When the temperature is at the “H” level, pressing the “+” key again, will bring the temperature back to the “1′ level (from “H” to “1”).
3. Press the ‘- key to lower the heat level, decreasing by one with each click. When the temperature is at the”1’ level, pressing the ‘-” key again, will bring the temperature up to the “H” level (from “1” to “H”).
4. In the case of continuous use for hours, the temperature level may be set to level “1”.
  • Timer adjustment:
1. When the “A2” timer indicator flashes, the controller is in timer adjustment mode.
2. Press the “+” key to increase the timer level, incrementing by one with each click. When the temperature is at level “9”, pressing the “+ key again will bring the timer down to 2.level “1”. (from “9′ to “1*).
3. Press the “-‘ key to lower the timer level, decreasing by one with each click. When the temperature is at the”1’ level, pressing the “-‘ key again will bring the timer up to level “9”. (from “1” to “9”).
4. The value of the “A2” will decrease by one as the timer progresses.
5. When the “A2” timer flashes on your selected setting, you can set a new timer. The “A2” will stop flashing, and a new timer setting is confirmed and started.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

Mia&Coco electric blankets are fitted with our overheat safeguard system. This offers protection against overheating or damage to the element by disengaging the power to the heating element before any overheating hazards occur. We absolutely care about the personal safety of you and your family.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Disconnect the power connection and remove the plug connection from the blanket prior to cleaning the blanket.
  • The heated blanket may be washed by hand or in the washing machine with mild process at 40°C Important.

  • Do not dry clean
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Do not use pressure cleaners
  • Please ensure that the thermostat does not come into contact with any liquids. The liquid could cause damages.
  • Never use the heated blanket while it is wet or damp.
  • Let the heated blanket air-dry. Do not use laundry pins to hang it. This could damage the wires.

STORAGE AND PERIODIC INSPECTION

  • Do not wrinkled the device. Fold the product carefully for storage.
  • Store the device at a dry location if it is not in use.
  • Let the device cool off prior to folding or rolling it.
  • Regularly inspect the device and power cord for possible signs of wear or damage.
  • Do not use chemical moth protection.
  • Do not place any heavy objects on top of the device while storing it, these could damage electric wires.
  • Please return the device to your point of sale in case of any wear or malfunction.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT DESTROY
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to people. Misuse or failure to follow these warnings and instructions may cause overheating, fire, and personal injury, including burns and property damage.

WARNING HIGHLIGHT

  • DO NOT plug into the wall outlet until the controller and the blanket is firmly connected
  • DO NOT leave the working controller underneath, wrapped in, or on top of the blanket
  • DO NOT use pad folded or rucked while working
  • DO NOT immerse the cord in water
  • Detach the cord before washing
  • This device uses supply voltage. Therefore, the same safety regulations apply as for any other electric device.
  • Operate the device only with the stated Danger supply voltage.
  • Inspect that all components of the device are in a faultless condition prior to each start-up of the device. In the event of a defect or a malfunction, switch the device off immediately and disconnect the power plug from the power network.
  • Repairs must be performed exclusively by authorized customer service technicians. Never open the device. The individual components of this device may not be disassembled, repaired or modified.
  • Use the device only in dry rooms and with a dry body-never in the bathtub, shower, above-filled sinks in pools, saunas, or outdoors.
  • Never operate the device too close to other heat sources.
  • Do not pull the power cord across sharp edges.
  • Do not pull on the cord or the device to disconnect the power plug or transport the device.
  • Disconnect the power plug if the device is not in use.
  • If you dispose of the device at any one point in time. Please cut off the cable to make it useless.
  • Not to be used by very young children (0-3years).
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and person with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Please ensure that children do not use the device as a toy.
  • Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the appliance has been misused or does not work, return it to the supplier before switching it on again.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or smiliarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Disconnect the device from the power network prior to cleaning it. During cleaning, ensure that no liquids come into contact with the switch and buttons and that the device is used only in an absolutely dry condition.
  • Do not insert any needles or pointy objects into the device.

Warnings

  • Please consult a physician prior to using the device if you suffer from an illness (e.g. varicose veins, thrombosis, etc.).
  • Never use the device with open wounds, burns, hematoma, swellings, or similar conditions.
  • Stop treatment if it feels uncomfortable to you. Heat-sensitive persons in particular should use the device with care and stop the treatment in a timely manner.
  • Never use the heat device on animals.

Attention

  • In order to ensure the proper functionality of the operating element (thermostat), do not place it on top of or underneath the device.
  • Do not use folded or rucked.
  • The appliance is not to be used by young children over the age of three unless the controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or unless the child has been adequately instructed on how to operate the controls safely.
  • Do not use if wet.
  • This appliance must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable to react to overheating.
  • Children under the age of three are not to use this appliance due to their inability to react to overheating.
  • When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
  • Use only the type of controller marked on the rating label.
  • The appliance should not be used on an adjustable bed.
  • If the appliance is slept on with the controls set to a higher temperature the user may suffer skin burns or heat stroke.
  • The cable and control unit of the appliance can give rise to risks of entanglement, strangulation, tripping or treading if not correctly arranged. The user shall make sure that excess ties and electric cords shall be arranged in a safe way.
  • The appliance can be used by children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years under supervision and with the control always set to a minimum temperature value.

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmentally safe recycling.
