Positioning the Soundblade
For the optimal setup, position your Soundblade over your monitor stand or legs
Raising the height of the Soundblade
As monitor legs and stands vary in height, we have included a set of extended feet for your Soundblade.
- To install the extended feet, please place your Soundblade upside down on a soft surface (to protect the Soundblade).
- and then remove the standard feet and replace with the extended feet found in the accessories box.
- You can place your standard feet into the accessories box to store, if you ever need to swap back.
Let’s get started
- The simplest way to control your Soundblade is with the remote.
- Please put the supplied AM batteries into the remote control and close the battery door. Please put the batteries in the correct way around or the remote will not work.
Get yourself connected
- Connect Power – Plug in the power cord on the Soundblade.
Select the method of connection you prefer. and follow the instructions.
3 Options To Connect The Soundblade
There are 3 options to connect the Soundblade
You can simply switch between connection methods with the remote
- Use Connection
- USB provides a wired connection to your laptop or other device, that supports USB audio and is the easiest to setup.
- BLUETOOTH Connection
- Bluetooth delivers a wireless connection for your laptop or phone
- AUXConnection
- AUX is for a 3.5mm connection to your source device
Connection Tip
- The easiest and best setup is to use USB-C for your Computer, and Bluetooth for your phone. Then you can simply swap between the two modes
Use – Purple LED
- The Soundblade comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A cable. so you can select the one you need for your Computer or source device. This could also be a Laptop, Macbook, Mobile phone, PS4 or PS5.
- Simply plug the USB cable into the Soundblade WSB-C port) and the other end into your Computer or device that supports USB Audio.
- On your Computer the Soundblade should automatically be configured as the output device.
- If the Computer does not automatically make this switch, then please follow the steps in the Troubleshooting section based on your Operating System.
Controls
- The Play/Pause and skip buttons on the remote, can control playback of content on your computer or source device.
Volume
- The Soundblade can reach a very high volume. The remote controls the master volume level of the computer or connected device.
- Applications such as Youtube or players in your browser have their own secondary volume controls, that you may need to adjust separately. If the volume seems low, please check that your app volume is turned up.
BLUETOOTH – Blue LED
- To use your Soundblade via Bluetooth, press the power button on the remote.
- Then press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote.
- The Soundblade will announce “Bluetooth pairing”, then let go of the Bluetooth button.
- The Soundblade can be paired with a Computer, Tablet or Mobile phone.
- Simply search for and select the “BlueAnt Soundblade” in your device’s Bluetooth menu.

Windows Operating System
- On your computer select Add Device.
- Then Bluetooth and select, “BlueAnt Soundblade” to pair and connect it.
The next time you power on the Soundblade, it will automatically connect to your Computer as the output device.
Mac Operating System
- Go to System Preferences and select Bluetooth,
- Click on the ‘BlueAnt Soundblade’ to connect.
- Then go to System Preferences and select Sound.
- Click on Output and then “BlueAnt Sound blade”.
The next time you power on the Soundblade, it will automatically connect to your Mac as the output device.

AUX – Green LED
- To use your Soundblade via AUX, plug the supplied AUX cable into your Soundblade and the other end into your Computer or source device.
- Press the power button on the remote, and then press the AUX button.
- If your computer or source device asks you what type of device you plugged in, then select “Speaker out”.

Mac Operating System
- The remote can only control the volume of the Soundblade.
- To control content or volume on your Computer or source device in AUX mode, you will need to do this on the Computer or source device.
Personalize Your Play
The Soundblade comes with three different EQs so you can get the most out of your audio.
- GAME – Increases the accuracy of content to improve your performance
- MOVIE – Emphasizes the bass, cinematic and spatial elements of your content
- MUSIC – Delivers an even balance from crystal clear highs to thundering bass
Soundblade Controls
- If you prefer not to use the remote, you can perform some of the functions with the buttons on the side of the Soundblade.
- The power button can be used to power the Soundblade ON or OFF and to switch between input modes, and volume buttons can be used to adjust the Soundblade volume.
Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting – use Connection
Windows Operating System
- Right click on the speaker icon in the Windows tray and select Open Volume Mixer.
- Click on the drop down arrow for output device and select, “Speaker (BlueAnt Soundblade)”.
Mac Operating System
- Go to System Preferences and select Sound.
- Click on Output and then”B/ueAnt Soundblade”.
No Audio
- Please check that the volume is not set to zero or muted. Your computer will remember the volume level you set previously.

Care and Handling
Your BlueAnt Bluetooth device is a precision-engineered instrument. To ensure its ongoing performance, you should look after it as you would any quality consumer electronic product, and use it in accordance with the instructions. BlueAnt recommends that you take the following precautions. Avoid leaving your device in direct sunlight.
- Do not leave your device, or use your device, in any area where the temperature may exceed 45 degrees Centigrade, such as inside a closed car on a hot day. Remember that on a hot day, the temperature inside a closed car may be significantly higher than the outside air temperature.
- Do not leave your device, or use your device, in any area where the temperature is likely to drop below O degrees Centigrade (32 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Do not leave your device, or use your device, in any area exposed to humidity, dust, soot, other foreign objects, smoke, or steam as this may cause your device to malfunction.
PROLONGED USE AT HIGH VOLUMES MAY AFFECT YOUR HEARING CAPACIT Y AND MAY RESULT IN NOISE INDUCED HEARING LOSS (NIHU) TURN OFF THE POWER TO YOUR DEVICE WHEN NOT IN USE.
- Do not use any household or industrial grade detergents or cleaners to clean your device. If your device becomes dirty or smeared, in most instances a wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth should be sufficient to clean it.
- Before charging your BlueAnt device, make sure that the AC outlet, adaptor and cable are not damaged. If you notice any abnormalities, seek advice from a qualified professional.
- If travelling internationally, ensure that your BlueAnt wall or car power adapter is approved for use in the country where you plan to use it and that the adapter voltage is suited to the local power supply.
- Should a fault develop with your BlueAnt product, contact BlueAnt for advice on how to proceed. Do not attempt to repair or alter any BlueAnt product yourself.
Approved Accessories
The use of accessories not approved by BlueAnt, including but not limited to wall adapters, car charger, may cause your BlueAnt device to malfunction or in the case of non approved electrical accessories may cause the device to exceed RF energy exposure guidelines.
Electromagnetic Interference
Nearly every electronic device is susceptible to electromagnetic interference CEMll if inadequately shielded, electromagnetic configured for electromagnetic compatibility. Similiar to a mobile phone, your BlueAnt device is a low power transmitter/ receiver and is covered by regulations pertaining to such devices. Turn off your BlueAnt device in any facility where posted notices instruct you to do so. These facilities may include hospitals or health care facilities that may be using equipment that is sensitive to external RF energy.
- If you use any other personal medical device, consult the manufacturer of your device to determine if it is adequately shielded from RF energy. Your doctor or physician may be able to assist you in obtaining this information.
- If you are in doubt about whether your BlueAnt device can be safely turned on or used, please consult an authorised person in the location you want to use your BlueAnt device. If no authorised person is available or you remain uncertain, BlueAnt recommends that you turn off your Bluetooth device and any mobile phones unless they are required in an emergency situation.
