OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Features

  • The sunrise simulation wake-up light starts 10 minutes before alarm time.
  • Multiple color bed light (Mood light) up to 5 individual brightness level settings.
  • Selectable 12 / 24-hour format (military/ first Responder time display).
  • Perpetual calendar up to the year 2099, shows Date, month, and Day.
  • Days of the week can be shown in a choice of 7 different languages.
  • FM radio (87.5~108MHz) with external antenna. The sleep feature turns off the radio automatically.
  • Wake up the option of Selectable 6 nature sounds / FM radio / Beep alarm sound.
  • Ascending alarm sound. Snooze function.
  • Adjustable backlight digits dimming control.
  • Power transformers can be used worldwide (depending on the type of blades needed). Standard North American plug supplied.

57U-Table-Top-Digital-Clock \(3\)General Note: During the setting procedures for example, setting up time or alarm time, if there is no valid operation within a few seconds, the clock will automatically exit the setting mode. Previous time and date before the setting will be restored from memory.

Set up instructions

  1. The battery compartment is located on bottom of the clock.
    Insert two fresh, good quality “AA” size batteries into the battery compartment with the polarity as indicated.
    Reassemble the cover. The LCD display will be on, and one beep sound will be played.

  2. Plug the supplied power cord into the USB input socket located on the left side of the clock. The power supply to the clock is 5V / 1A. The LED lights will display immediately.

  3. Go to next step to setup your clock.

Note :

  1. 2xAA batteries are for memory backup purpose. To ensure the clock’s functions are performing properly, please always plug in the power supply to the clock.
  2.  It is recommended to replace batteries every year. While replacing batteries, keep the power supply connected. This will ensure the setup of the clock will not be lost from memory.
  3. When replacing batteries, please replace both batteries at the same time. It is strongly recommended to replace with brand new and the same grade of batteries.

Clock setting

  1. With the display on, press and hold the “CLOCK” button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode.
  2. The following digits will be flashing in sequence: 12- or 24-hour format – Hour – Minute Date format] (Month/Date or Date/Month) Year Month – Date Language.
  3. Using button to adjust to correct setting. Press and hold the button which will rapidly scan forward or backward the digits.
  4. Press the “CLOCK” button to confirm your selection and go to next setting.
  5. The day of week will be automatically adjusted according to the year date entered. 7 languages are available shown in the following sequence: English (EN), French (FR), Italian] (IT), Dutch DU), Spanish (SP), Danish (DA) and German (GE).
  6. The setup is completed when there are no digit flashing on the display. The clock will automatically return to the normal clock mode.

To Operate The Alarm

  • ON Alarm on

  • SOUND 6 pre-programmed nature tunes
  • BEEP Ascending beep alarm
  • RADIO Radio
  1. To set alarm time and other features
    This clock features 3 settings to accomplish a combination of sound and light during alarm wake up time – Nature tunes/ Beep / Radio sound +Sunrise/ Mood Light. To setup desired alarm mode, gently slide the Alarm Sound Setting switch #11 on the back of case to the proper position then begin the setting procedures. Repeat the setting procedures as shown below to complete each of the 3 different alarm settings.

    • In clock or radio mode, select desired alarm sound by the switch #11 on back of case. Press and hold the “ALARM” button @ on top of the clock for 3 seconds to enter alarm setting mode.
      Following is the setup sequence for different alarm settings:

    • Sound – lime ➔ Natural tunes ➔ Sound level ➔ Light mode ➔ Light brightness level ➔ Complete. Selected light mode will start 10 minutes before alarm time. Selected Nature Tunes will be played at alarm time.

    • Beep – lime ➔ Light mode ➔ Light brightness level ➔ Complete. Selected light mode will begin 10 minutes before the alarm time. Ascending beep alarm sound will be played at alarm time.

    • Radio – Time ➔ Sound level ➔ Light mode ➔ Light brightness level ➔ Complete. Selected light mode will begin 10 minutes before alarm time. The last broadcasted radio station will turn on at the selected
      alarm time.

    • Following digits will be flashing on the display for setting:

    • Hour/ Minute -Alarm time setting.

    • “1” to “6” – For Nature Tunes only. 6 pre-programed nature tunes will be played individually during selection.

    • “LOO” to “L 15” – Sets the volume for nature tune and radio alarm, not valid for beep alarm. The alarm will gradually increase to selected sound level. If “LOO” is selected, the sound function either Natural Tunes or Radio will be off during alarm time.

    • “1” or “2” – Setting of light mode. “1 ” is Sunrise mode. “2” is Mood Light mode. Light will be on to demonstrate your selection.

    • ·c1· to ·cs· – Setting of Mood Light mode appears if the selected light mode is “2”. “C1” to “C7” is 7 specific color stays on and “CS” is the symphony lights effect. Light will be
      on to demonstrate your selection.

    • LOO” to ”LOS” or “L 18” – Setting of light brightness level.

    • If Sunrise mode “1” is selected, the dimming level is “LOO” to

    • L 18″. “L 18” is 100% light level. If Mood Light mode “2” is selected, the dimming level is “LOO” to “L05”. “L05” is 100% light level. The LED lights will illustrate your dimming selection. If “LOO” is selected, the Ilg ht function will be off during alarm time.

    • Using button to adjust your setting. Press and hold on

      • button will rapidly scan forward or backward.
    • Press the “ALARM” button to confirm your selection and go to next setting.

    • The setup is complete when there is no digit flashing on display. The clock automatically returns to normal clock mode.

  2. To use the alarm

    • To turn on the alarm, gently slide the “Alarm On/Off” switch to “ON” position and the alarm icon  appears on display.
    • Pre-set wake-up light will automatically begin 10 minutes before alarm time and gradually increase to the pre-set brightness level at alarm time.
    • Pre-set alarm sound (nature tunes or radio) gradually increases from the alarm time to pre-set maximum volume in 30 seconds.
    • The alarm sound and wake-up light will stay on for 30 minutes (nature tunes or radio) or 2 minutes (beep alarm) if not to tum off the alarm. The sound and light will tum off automatically and the alarm will be repeated next day.
    • Press “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button to enter snooze mode. The alarm sound will be off while wake-up light is still on. The alarm will sound again in 8 minutes until the alarm is stopped.
    • To stop the alarm, press any button on top of the clock. Alarm sound and wake-up light will go off simultaneously. Pre-set alarm will be automatically activated again next day. To permanently turn off the alarm function, gently slide the “Alarm On/Off’ to “OFF” position and the alarm icon disappears on display.

To Operate Radio

  1. Straighten the radio antenna for the best signal receiption.
  2. In clock mode, press “RADIO” button on the front of the clock to tum radio on. Press “RADIO” button again to turn radio off. The radio symbol and pre-set FM radio frequency will be shown on the display when the radio is on.
  3. To setup radio stations, press and hold the radio button ) for 3 seconds, the clock will automatically start to search for radio signals from 87.5MHz thru 108MHz. Radio stations will be automatically stored in memory and shown as P01 , P02 … for the number of scanned radio stations on the display. A total of 20 radio stations can be stored.
  4. To select radio station, use buttons CB on the front of the clock.
  5. To adjust radio volume, use buttons on the front of clock.
  6. Your clock has a “sleep” feature which turns off the radio automatically.
    • When the radio is on, press the “SLEEP” button on top of the clock to enter the sleep mode. The symbol and digits will be flashing on the display.
    • Following digits (minutes to countdown) will be flashing in sequence for selection of countdown timer: 15- 30 45 60 OFF. Press the “SLEEP” button to advance to each setting. Once selected Do not press any buttons for 8 seconds, the pre set time shown flashing is selected for the countdown timer and should stop flashing after the 8 seconds.
    • The radio will automatically turn off once the pre-set countdown time reaches zero.

To Operate LED Lights

  1. In clock mode or radio mode, press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button on top of the clock to turn on LED lights.
  2. Each press on the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button will switch to a] different lighting mode as the following sequence shows: Sunlight Mood Light  Off. Once the Desired light mode is selected.
  3. To adjust the brightness, use buttons on top of the clock.
  4. If the Sunlight mode is selected, a warm white color LED light only will be on.
  5. If the Mood Light mode is selected, press the “DISPLAY” button on top of the clock to select a different LED light color. Each press on “DISPLAY” button will change thecolor of the light. There are 8 options  (display will show “C1” to “CS”) for selection. “C1” thru “C7” are 7 specific colors and the selected color stays on stays on and “CS” is symphony lighting effect.

Backlight of LCD Display

  1. In the clock mode to mute the LED light, press the “DISPLAY” button to adjust the brightness of the backlight.
  2. For emergency if the power supply is not connected to see the time, press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT button to turn on the backlight of LCD and it will display for 8 seconds.

General Notes

  1. Use a clean, dry, soft cloth to wipe away fingerprints. Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaner/ polish.
  2. Do not tape anything to clock surfaces as the adhesive can degrade the finish.
  3.  If present, gently peel off protective film on top and/or front of clock.
