FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why are incoming calls getting rejected?
Noise Scout smartwatch can reject an incoming call if the caller's number is not added to the contact list. Ensure that the numbers allowed to contact the child are added to the contact list. You can also enable callers who are not in the app's contact list and from unknown numbers from the app to contact your child.
How do I video call from the Noise Buddy app?
On the Noise Buddy app, go to the dashboard, select call and choose video call option. Why is the location not getting updated? Check the network carrier signal strength in the area, whether the watch has turned off or not and the SIM pack validity.
Why is there a location inaccuracy?
The watch provides the best accuracy when it is outdoors using GPS but indoors the location may depend on carrier tower signals which may cause slight variations in the exact position.
How will the location get updated in the Noise Buddy app?
When the user selects the smart location update feature, the watch updates the location once every 3 minutes as long as the watch is turned on with an active SIM data pack and good network carrier signal strength.
How can I access location tracking or location history?
On the Noise Buddy app, go to the location history tab and choose the find track feature. Once chosen, you’ll get location updates of the entire day.
How to get safe zone alerts?
Based on the smartwatch location, whenever the Noise Scout detects that the user has entered or left the set safe zone, a notification is sent to the Noise Buddy app. You can see that as a push notification on the app’s notification tab.
Why is the Noise Buddy app not displaying notifications?
Make sure that the app is running in the background. If it is not then you may not receive notifications.
Why should I keep a track of SIM credit?
If SIM credit along with the data pack has expired, the smartwatch will not be connected to the Noise Buddy app.
Why is my watch showing time inaccuracy sometimes?
Noise Scout relies on the SIM signal sync and sometimes inaccuracy may occur. In such situations, remote restart the watch from the app.
