Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Disconnecting the CTEK Smartpass
Disconnect the 2 positive leads going to your CTEK Smartpass and tape off the connections to prevent contact with other metal parts.

Step 2: Mounting the GP Bracket

  1. Remove the Factory M4 Screws on your CTEK Smartpass.
  2. Take the GP Mounting Bracket and position it under the CTEK Smartpass, sandwiched between the Smartpass and the factory Mounting bracket. Ensure the GP logo is placed under the Smartpass.
  3. Use the provided longer M4 screws to secure the GP Mounting Bracket in place.

  • Q: Can I install the GP Factory CTEK D250SE without prior experience with 12V wiring?
    A: GP Factory does not warranty installation by end users and recommends having a qualified dealer install the product if you are not familiar or skilled with 12V wiring on your vehicle.

  • Q: Can I connect my solar panel to the D250SE?
    A: GP Factory does not provide instructions on running your solar to this D250SE. Please refer to your CTEK manual for guidance on solar panel connections.

INSTRUCTION

This Installation Guide will help you mount your new GP Factory CTEK D250SE mounting Bracket to the existing configuration that came with your Ineos Grenadier equipped with the dual battery system and CTEK SmartPass.

GP FACTOR DOES NOT WARRANTY INSTALLATION OF THIS KIT, ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS, WIRING, OR MIS-WIRING DONE BY THE END USER. IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR OR SKILLED WITH 12V WIRING ON YOUR VEHICLE, WE RECOMMEND HAVING A QUALIFIED DEALER INSTALL IT. WE ALSO DO NOT INSTRUCT ON RUNNING YOUR SOLAR TO THIS D250SE. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR CTEK MANUAL

Tools Needed

3MM & 5MM ALLEN KEY (PREFERABLE A LONGER T-HANDLE) 13mm SOCKET WRENCH

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

  • STEP 1: Disconnect the 2 positive leads going to your CTEK Smartpass and tape off the connections in insure they do not make contact with other metal parts in the area.
  • STEP 2: Remove Factory M4 Screws on your CTEK Smart Pass. Using X4 of the replacement Longer M4 screws provided, Take your GP Mounting Bracket and sandwich under the CTEK Smart pass and the factory Mounting bracket of the Smart pass. Notice the orientation. The GP logo goes under the Smartpass. Use M4 Screws to remount the Factory CTEK Smartpass.FACTOR-D250SE-12V-DC-Battery-Charger-Alternator-and-Solar-Inputs-2
  • STEP 3: Mount the D250SE to the mounting bracket using the provided M4 Screws. Make sure CTEK Reads facing the rear seat and the “A” Alternator Input & “Output Service battery” connection points are facing the already installed CTEK Smartpass. Connect the supplied copper bussbars to the D250SE First. Do not screw down to the smart pass yet. Grab the included Ground Harness and connect to the “- Earth Connection” Point (Top Right of D250SE) and connect to your AUX Battery – (factory one is on passenger side).FACTOR-D250SE-12V-DC-Battery-Charger-Alternator-and-Solar-Inputs-3
  • STEP 4: Remove tape from the positive connections that were run from your truck and aux battery to the smart pass (do one at a time). Reconnect to the Smartpass on top of the copper busbar. Do one at a time.
  • STEP 5: REFER to your CTEK D250SE for any connections regarding the smart alternator cable and battery temp sensor as far as where to mount.
