Installing a bird feeder: wall and wood surface installation
Wall Installation:
- Begin by marking the locations for the screw holes on the wall according to the bracket holes, then drill four holes using the drill bit (Note: the narrow end of the bracket hook should face upwards).
- Place four anchors into the drilled holes, then place the larger wall screws into the bracket’s grooves and use the iron wrench provided with the product to tighten the screws and secure the bracket.
- Use two iron wrenches to tighten the screws on the adjustable parts of the bracket up and down to adjust the bird feeder’s direction. When the bird feeder’s direction is set, tighten the screws as much as possible to support the bird feeder and prevent it from tilting.
- Adjust the tightness of the screws as needed and fix the bird feeder bracket in the left and right directions.
- Align the slot on the back of the bird feeder with the card holder on the bracket, and insert it to complete the installation. If needed, you can tighten the small screw next to the card holder to secure the connection between the bird feeder and the bracket.
Wood surface installation:

Then, insert the screw washers onto the screws and use a screwdriver or electric screwdriver to secure the bracket to the wood surface.
- Use the two wrenches to tighten the screws on the moving parts of the bracket to adjust the up and down direction of the bird feeder. Once the direction is set, firmly tighten the screws to support the bird feeder and prevent tilting.
- Depending on the required tightness, adjust the screws to fix the bird feeder bracket in the left and right directions.

- a. Please ensure that the camera is within a strong WiFi network coverage area (recommended around 10 meters or 33 feet).
- b. Verify if the WiFi name and password are correct. If not, press and hold the “RESET” button for 6 seconds until you hear a “beep” sound to reset the camera. Wait for approximately 20 seconds for the camera to reboot and emit the “beep” prompt sound before attempting the connection setup again.
-
What to do if the bird recognition fails and displays a 0% similarity?
If the bird is not clear or the angle, clarity, or completeness of the bird’s physical features is poor, the camera might not be able to recognize the bird accurately or at all. Try to recognize the bird again when it appears from a more suitable angle and with clearer features. If the bird still cannot be recognized or is misidentified, it could be because the database is missing information on that particular bird species. Please send us the image or name of the bird, and we will add its information to our database and improve it. -
How to get more information about the recognized bird?
After the bird is successfully recognized, click “More Details” in the bottom left corner to view the bird’s encyclopedia information.
