Product Usage Instructions

Charging and Operating the Solar Light:
The solar light operates automatically, turning on in darkness and off in sunlight. Follow these steps for optimal performance:

  1. Place the light panel in an area with maximum sunlight exposure for at least two days to fully charge the batteries.
  2. For best results, ensure the solar panel receives ample sunlight exposure to prolong the light’s runtime.
  3. To preserve battery life when not in use for an extended period, switch the product to OFF.
  4. Avoid submerging the light in water to prevent damage. While rainproof, full submersion may cause leakage and failure.

Replacing the Battery:
If you need to replace the rechargeable Ni-MH battery, follow these steps:

  1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on the battery cover.
  2. Install new rechargeable batteries, ensuring compatibility with 1.2V Ni-MH specifications.
  3. Securely reseal the battery cover with all screws tightened.

Important Notes:

  • Avoid touching the top of the solar light with hard materials to prevent damage to the solar panel.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types (alkaline, standard, rechargeable) to prevent malfunctions.

The light turns on automatically in darkness and will turn off once exposed to sunlight again.

The runtime of the light is dependent on the amount of charging time that the solar panel is exposed to:

  • The longer of the exposure of sunlight, the better the performance of the solar light.
  • For best results, place the light panel where there is ample sunlight exposure to charge your light.
  • Maximum sunlight exposure will allow the light to work for up 8 hours.

If use of the solar light is not required for a long period of time, it is recommended to switch the product to “OFF” to preserve the battery. We recommend to shelter this product during long winter periods (snow, rain) in order to preserve the product. This product is rainproof, but may leak and fail if fully submerged in water.
Do not locate the light in an area where it may become submerged in water when it rains. E.g. where puddles form.
