CHARGING

Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 41 °F to 95 ° F / 5 °C to 35 °C. The battery may not charge properly or at all under extreme low or high temperatures. Recommended ambient temperature for trimming is 60 °F to 95 °F / 15 °C to 35 °C. Do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 122 °F / 50 °C for extended periods of time.

• Connect the appliance (switched off) via the special cord set (6) to an electrical outlet.
• A full charge takes approx. 1 hour and provides up to 60 minutes of cordless operation time.
• Once the appliance is completely charged, discharge it through normal use. Then recharge again to full capacity.

CHARGING INDICATOR (4)

• The charging indicator blinks green when the appliance is being charged and during cordless usage.
• When the battery is fully charged, it shines permanently green provided the appliance is connected to an electrical outlet.
• The charging indicator flashes red when the battery is running low. You should be able to finish your current trimming or shaving sequence.

USAGE

Exchange the attachments only when the appliance is switched off. To turn the appliance on, push the on/off button (3).

BEARD TRIMMING / HAIR CLIPPING

Sliding combs (1a, 1b): Place one of the combs over the trimmer head (2a). Press the release button (1c) and slide the comb to your desired length.

Fixed combs (1d, 1e): Click one of the combs onto the trimmer head (2a).

• Trim against hair growth by guiding the flat comb part over the skin.
• Do not force the appliance through the hair faster than it can be cut.
• Avoid clogging the comb with hair. Remove and clean it from time to time.

PRECISION AND CONTOUR TRIMMING

Use the trimmer head (2a) without comb attachment or the detailed trimmer head (2c) for shaping sideburns, moustaches and partial short beards.

EAR/NOSE TRIMMING

• Remove any head and click the ear & nose trimmer head (2b) onto the handle of the appliance.
• Carefully guide the appliance to the hair to be trimmed so that they reach into the cutting cage. Avoid introducing the trimmer more than 5 mm (1/4˝) into nose or ear.

BODY GROOMING

Remove any head and click the body groomer head (2d) onto the handle.

It is designed for shaving and trimming of hair on legs, chest and underarms. Use it on dry skin only.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Switch off the appliance.
• Take off any head and comb.
• Use the brush to clean the heads, combs and the appliance. Do not clean the foil of the body groomer head with the brush as it may be damaged.
• The handle, the heads and the combs can be cleaned under running water. Rinse until all residues have been removed. Let all parts dry completely before reassembling them
• To keep the trimmer working properly, oil it with light machine oil (not included) regularly.

BATTERY REMOVAL

This appliance contains rechargeable batteries. Before disposing of the appliance, disassemble the housing as shown, remove the rechargeable batteries and recycle or dispose of properly, according to local guidelines.

CAUTION: Disassembling the appliance will destroy it and invalidate the warranty.

I got this a week ago and tried to use it, but the trimmer’s head (not guard) kept coming out. There’s glue so I’m assuming the product’s broken?****

I’d send it back for s replacement ours has been great so that shouldn’t be happening.

How often do you have to replace the body hair shaver?****

If you mean the Gillett Fusion shaver I change the blade about every other month or so , BUT, I only shave my face not my body…If you mean the individual attachments for the Braun electric shaver then I clean them out after every use.

Can these be used as a main clipper for home hair cutting, or are they for beards mainly?****

This could absolutely be used for home hair cutting.

Is this waterproof for using in the shower?****

If the device is labeled as Wet & Dry, this means that it’s 100% waterproof and can be washed under running water. It can also be used in the shower with shaving foam or gel.

Can I shave my husband’s hair using this?****

There is body grooming attachment which cuts close to the skin. Not sure if you’d want to use it on your husbands scalp to shave.

Does this come with a charger?****

Yes, our MGK units come with one of our SmartPlugs.

How Big is the charger and doe it fit in the case as well?****

It’s fairly small and fits in the case already. The charger is roughly 2 inches long, 3/4 of an inch wide and 2 to 3 inches deep. It happens to be the same charger as my Braun toothbrush, so I just need to take one with me!
