USER MANUAL
Safety precautions and important information
CAUTION: To avoid electric shock, never open the case. There are no user-
serviceable parts inside the device. Leave all repair work to qualified
specialist personnel.
This symbol warns the user of dangerous voltage inside the device (risk of
electric shock!).
This symbol indicates that the operating instructions contain important
information on maintaining and operating the device.
CAUTION: To avoid fire or electric shock, do not expose the device to rain or moisture.
Please read the instructions for use carefully before using the device. Keep the instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you pass the device on to someone else, remember to also include the instructions for use. If this product is misused, operated incorrectly or repaired improperly, no liability can be accepted for any damage.

Only use the included power adapter. Any other type of adapter may cause damage to the radio.

When plugging and unplugging the power supply, always hold the plug (not the cable).

Before connecting the power supply to the socket, make sure that the displayed nominal voltage corresponds to the internal voltage in the house. Lay the cable so that it cannot be pinched or sharp objects

Place the radio well away from other electrical devices that may cause interference.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or liquid cleaners to clean the radio.
Always unplug the power supply before cleaning. -

Power supply/commissioning
Network operation
1. Connect the DC plug of the included power supply to the “DC 5V/2A” socket
the back of the radio. Then connect the power adapter to the socket.
2. The message “Welcome to Digital Radio” appears in the display and then
“0:00” and “Time is not set”. If the DAB signal is received at the radio’s
location, the current time will appear on the display shortly afterwards. The
radio is now in standby mode.
3. To turn on the radio, press the VOLUME button / antenna fully off.
4. When you switch on the radio for the first time, the DAB station search
starts automatically. Once the search is complete, the radio tunes to the
first station in the list (in alphanumeric order). When you switch the radio
back on, it always tunes to the last station you listened to.
5. Press the VOLUME knob / again to switch the radio , to standby mode. When
the radio is in standby mode, the time and date are displayed on the LCD
display.
Battery operation
1. The radio can also be operated wirelessly using the integrated Li-ion
battery.
2. When the battery is fully charged, the radio will operate at a volume
level of 50% for 24 hours.
3. If the radio is powered by battery, the alarm function cannot be used.
4. In standby mode, the LCD display is black (time and date are displayed on
battery power not displayed).
5. The battery is charged by connecting the radio to the socket.
6. During battery operation, the symbol shows the charge status of the battery.
Volume control
Turn the VOLUME knob / left or right to adjust the volume level to increase or decrease.
Tuning to DAB stations
1. The radio has been designed at the factory to switch to DAB mode when
switched on and the full search for the available DAB stations will start
automatically. Once the search is complete, the radio tunes to the first
station in the list.
2. Press the ÿÿy and yÿÿ buttons or turn the NAVIGATE / SELECT rotary knob
Browse the channel list and select the desired channel.
Tuning to FM stations
1. Press the MODE button to switch to FM mode.
2. Press the ÿÿy and yÿÿ buttons or rotate the NAVIGATE / SELECT knob to
search the frequency range in individual tuning steps.
3. Press and hold the buttons longer to start the automatic station search.
When you release the button, the device automatically searches the frequency
range in the specified direction. The search stops when a station with good
reception quality has been found.
Important: The FM mode can only be selected if the «Best Tune» mode is deactivated in the system settings menu.
Best Tune
1. In «Best Tune» mode, the device searches both the DAB and FM ranges during
the automatic search. The stations found are kept on a common list (without
distinguishing between DAB+ and FM).
2. The «Best Tune» mode is activated in the system settings menu. Consult

instructions.
Fixed station programming
30 DAB and 30 FM stations can be programmed for direct access. In “Best Tune” mode, another 30 stations can be programmed on the shared station list.
1. Tune to the desired radio station.
2. Press and hold the PRESET button until the “Save to Preset” display
appears.
3. Use the NAVIGATE / SELECT rotary knob to select the desired memory number
and press the knob to confirm. The message “Preset # Saved” appears in the
display and the station is saved under the selected number (“#” stands for the
station’s memory number).
4. Preset stations 1 to 4 can also be programmed by long pressing buttons 1 –
4 press.
Setting preset stations
1. Set the desired waveband.
2. Press the PRESET button once. The message “Preset Recall” appears on the
display.
3. Use the NAVIGATE / SELECT rotary knob to select the desired memory number
and press the knob to confirm.
4. Preset stations 1 – 4 can also be tuned by briefly pressing buttons 1 – 4
press.
Display information during radio operation
1. Press the INFO button to display the following information:

2. Press the button again to hide the information again.
Note: The information displayed depends on the broadcaster.
Wireless music playback via Bluetooth
1. Use the MODE button to select the “Bluetooth” operating mode. The
“Disconnected” display appears as long as a connection to a Bluetooth-enabled
smartphone has not yet been established.
2. Activate the Bluetooth function on your smartphone and connect to it «ITR
RA-30« her.
3. The display «Connected» appears on the radio display after the connection
has been established became.
4. Start playing music on your smartphone. The sound now comes from the
loudspeaker expensive radios.
5. Press the ÿyy button to temporarily pause and resume playback.
6. Press the ÿÿy and yÿÿ buttons to skip forward or backward individual
tracks.
7. The volume control as well as the skipping of tracks and the play/pause
function can be carried out on the radio or on the smartphone.
8. The Bluetooth connection only needs to be established once. Next time, the
radio will automatically connect to the last paired smartphone.
9. Press and hold the INFO button for approximately three seconds to end the
current Bluetooth connection. The “Disconnected” message appears on the
display again and the radio is in pairing mode again.
Note: The radio will automatically switch to standby mode if no button is pressed for approximately 20 minutes and if no music is played.
Alarm function
You can program two alarm times.
The alarm clock can only be used if the radio has been connected to the power
socket using the power adapter.
Setting the alarm clock
1. With the radio on, press the MENU button to enter the menu.
2. Use the NAVIGATE / SELECT rotary knob to select «System Settings» and
press the Knopf.
3. Use the NAVIGATE / SELECT rotary knob to select «Alarm» and press the
knob.
4. Use the NAVIGATE / SELECT rotary knob to select «Alarm 1« (for the first
alarm time) or «Alarm 2« (for the second alarm time) and press the knob to
confirm. The message
“Alarm 1 Info” (or “Alarm 2 Info”) appears in the display.
5. Select between «Alarm On» and «Alarm. by pressing the NAVIGATE / SELECT
button Off«.
6. Now set the various alarm parameters. Turn the NAVIGA knob
TE / SELECT to move from one line to another and press the button to confirm.
Make the desired settings by turning the NAVIGATE / SELECT knob and press the
knob to confirm.
7. First, set the frequency with which the alarm should be triggered: Daily
(every day), Once (once), Weekends (on weekends) or Weekdays (on weekdays).
8. Next, set the alarm time.
9. Then set the alarm tone (buzzer, digital radio or FM).
10. Then set the duration of the alarm tone (15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120
minutes).
11. Adjust the alarm volume and press the NAVIGATE / SELECT button one last
time to save the settings.
12. Set the second alarm time in the same way as the first alarm time.
13. If the alarm clock is activated, the alarm clock symbol with the number
“1” or “2” and the set alarm time appears at the bottom of the display in
standby mode.
Switching off the alarm tone
1. The alarm tone is triggered when the set alarm time is reached.
2. Press any button except SNOOZE /ÿyy and VOLUME / to turn off the Tons. The
message “Alarm Off” appears on the display.
3. The alarm function remains activated and the alarm sound will sound again
24 hours later triggered.
Alarm repeat
1. When the alarm goes off, press the SNOOZE /ÿyy button several times to
temporarily pause the sound while setting the pause duration. You can choose a
time period of 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes (the selection options depend on the
set duration of the alarm tone).
2. The radio then switches back to standby mode. During the temporary
interruption, the alarm clock symbol flashes and the display shows the elapsed
duration of the interruption.
Menu settings in DAB mode
With the radio in DAB mode, press the MENU button to enter the menu. Select
the desired function by turning the NAVIGATE / SELECT knob and press the knob
to confirm.
Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu level during setting.
1. Station List (Senderliste)
Select this function to display the DAB station list. Then select the desired
station from the list by turning the NAVIGATE / SELECT knob.
2. DAB Scan
Select this function to start a complete DAB station search. The message
“Scanning…” appears
on the display during the search, together with a progress bar and the number
of channels found. Once the search is complete, the radio tunes to the first
station in the list or to the last station listened to.
3. Info
Select this function to display various information about the tuned station
(e.g. program type, frequency or name). The information can also be viewed by
pressing the INFO button.
4. Manual Tune
This feature allows you to search all DAB channels from 5A to 13F and add
stations to the list that may have been skipped during the automatic search.
– Select the «Manual Tune» function and press the NAVIGATE / SELECT button.
– Select the desired DAB channel and press the NAVIGATE / SELECT button again.
– The signal strength of the channel is displayed on the LCD display.
5. Prune Invalid
With this function you can remove inactive channels from the list.
– Select the «Prune Invalid» function and press the NAVIGATE / SELECT button.
– Select «Yes« by turning the NAVIGATE / SELECT knob and press to confirm on
the button.
6. System Settings
You can make several settings under this heading:
a) Best Tune
– Choose between “Best Tune On” and “Best Tune Off”.
– If «Best Tune» is deactivated (Off), you can use the MODE button to switch
between the operating modes. Select “Digital Radio”, “FM” and “Bluetooth”.
– If “Best Tune” is activated (On), you only have the choice between
“Bluetooth” and “Radio”.
In this case, DAB and FM stations are displayed on a common station list.
b) Sleep (sleep timer)
– Select the “Sleep” function and press the NAVIGATE / SELECT button.
– Select a time after which the radio automatically switches to standby mode
should (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes).
– If you select «Sleep Timer Off», the timer is deactivated and the radio does
not switch off itself into standby mode.
c) Alarm
– To set the alarm clock, as described in the “Alarm function” chapter.
d) Time/Date
– Select the «Time/Date» function and press the NAVIGATE / SELECT button.
– Select the desired option by turning the NAVIGATE / SELECT knob and press
the knob.
i) Set Time/Date –
Manual setting of time and date.
ii) Auto update
– Specify here how the radio clock should be synchronized: by DAB and through FM stations, through DAB stations, through FM stations or through neither (no update).
iii) Set 12/24 hour –
Set the time display format (24 or 12 hours).
iv) Set date format –
Setting the date display format (Day/Month/Year or Month/Day/Year).
v) Clock Style
– Here you can specify the display of the time display in standby mode: Normal Digital,
Big Digital, Classic Analog oder Modern Analog.
e) Backlight
– Timeout: Here you can set a time after which the display lighting
automatically becomes weaker (20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 or 180 seconds).
– On Level: Helligkeitsstufe vor Dimmung (High, Medium, Low).
– Dim Level: Dimmstufe (High, Medium, Low).
f) Language
– Selection of the menu language (German, English, French, Italian)
g) Factory Reset
– Restore factory settings
h) SW Version
– Display of the software version
Menu settings in FM mode
With the radio in DAB mode, press the MENU button to enter the menu. Select the desired function by turning the NAVIGATE / SELECT knob.
Press the button to confirm.
Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu level during setting.
1. Info
– To display information about the station such as program type, frequency or
signal strength.
2. Scan Setting
– Specify here whether the automatic station search should only stop for strong stations (Strong Stations only) or for all channels (All Stations).
3. Audio Settings
– Choose between “Stereo Allowed” (stereo possible) and “Forced Mono” (mono
only).
4. System Settings
The settings are the same as in DAB mode.
Menu settings in Bluetooth mode
In Bluetooth mode, only System Settings can be executed. The settings are the same as in DAB and FM mode.
