DR115DSP/DR112DSP/DR110DSP Controls

Controls

  1. DSP display – Backlit display for DSP functions.

  2. AUX IN – Connect a media player via 1/8″ TRS cable. Stereo signals are summed to mono. Control the input gain with the CH1 VOLUME knob.

  3. BLUETOOTH LED – The blue LED will flash when Bluetooth is on and searching for connection. When successful connection is established, the LED will light solid.

  4. BLUETOOTH BUTTON – Press to turn the Bluetooth function on and off. Use the MASTER control to adjust the volume.

  5. OUTPUT – Sends the combined signals from CH1 and CH2 INPUTS out to another device via XLR male connector.

  6. VENTS

  7. MASTER – Rotate to control the overall volume level. Push the knob to access DSP functions, which are explained in the following chapter.

  8. CH1 VOLUME – Rotate to adjust the gain for INPUT 1 and AUX IN. The knob should generally be set above the midway point for microphone signals or turned down for linelevel signals.

  9. CH2 VOLUME – Rotate to adjust the gain for INPUT 2. The knob should generally be set above the midway point for microphone signals or turned down for line-level signals.

  10. CH1 INPUT – Connect audio sources using balanced XLR or ¼” cables.

  11. CH2 INPUT – Connect audio sources using balanced XLR or ¼” cables.

  12. POWER INPUT – Connect a standard IEC power cable. To replace a blown fuse, carefully remove the fuse holder with a small screwdriver, then replace the defective fuse with a new one of the same type. Push the fuse holder back into the slot until it snaps.

  13. POWER SWITCH – After all audio connections have been made, flip the switch to the ON position to turn the speaker on. (DR115DSP only)

  14. AUTO STAND-BY BUTTON – Press to activate the automatic standby function. When activated, the speaker will automatically turn off after 60 minutes without an input signal present. When the unit receives a signal again, the power will return automatically. (DR112DSP/DR110DSP only)

  15. AUTO STAND-BY LED – The red LED will light when the automatic standby function is activated.

  16. POWER BUTTON – After all audio connections have been made, press the button in to turn the speaker on.
    (DR112DSP/DR110DSP only)

DSP Functions

Sound Programs
Press the MASTER knob twice to enter the speaker’s Sound Programs menu. ‘MUSIC’ will appear in the display. Press the MASTER knob again to select this program, or turn the MASTER knob to scroll through the other options – ‘DJ’, ‘LIVE’, ‘SPEECH’. Press the MASTER knob to confirm your selection.

3-band EQ
Press the MASTER knob once and turn the MASTER knob to scroll through the 3-Band EQ menu: ‘HIGH EQ’ (treble), ‘MID EQ’ (mid range), ‘LOW EQ’ (bass). Press the MASTER knob again to enter this frequency menu and turn the MASTER knob clockwise to boost the frequency up to 12 dB, or turn counterclockwise to reduce by up to 12 dB. Press the MASTER knob to confirm your settings.

High Pass Filter
Press the MASTER knob once and turn the MASTER knob until ‘SUB’ appears in the display. Press the MASTER knob again to enter the speaker’s High Pass Filter
(low cut) menu. Turn the MASTER knob to select between OFF 80, 100, 120 or 150 Hz, and press the MASTER knob again to confirm the selection. Audio below the selected frequency will be attenuated.

Delay
Press the MASTER knob once and turn the MASTER knob until DELAY appears, then press the MASTER knob again to edit this function. This function causes the
signal to be delayed a small amount of time to allow the music to be played in time with speakers located further away (e.g. main speakers on stage plus additional speakers in a balcony).

LED Mode
Press the MASTER knob once and turn the MASTER knob until LED MODE appears, then press the MASTER knob to edit this function. Select ‘ON’ to always show a lit LED on the front panel while the speaker is powered on, or ‘OFF’ to turn the LED off. Select ‘LIMIT’ to allow the LED to indicate when either the HF or LF limiter has
engaged.
