Product Usage Instructions:

1. Taking out the top jaw:

Hold the head of the cutter and screw out the 2 screws located
on the top jaw.

2. Taking out the bottom jaw:

Hold the head of the cutter and screw out the 2 screws located
on the bottom jaw.

Replacing the Hydraulic Oil:

1. Remove the hydraulic oil by following the steps provided in the
   manual.

2. Fill the reservoir with approximately 30 ml of new hydraulic
   oil.

Cutting Procedure:

1. If the jaws are not separated, turn the wheel to the “OFF”
   position to separate them.

2. Place the object to be cut between the jaws.

3. Grasp the handles and gradually close the jaws until the cut is
   made.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Keep all moving parts clean and free from debris. Secure the
jaws after use by tightening the screws as instructed.

A: No, never use the cutter on live electrical wires as it can
cause injury or death due to electrical shock.

Úcel pouzití

y Ped pouzitím klest zkontrolujte. Zkontrolujte, zda nejsou uvolnny srouby, zda je správn a pevn nasroubovaná rukoje v ose celistí, zda nedoslo k vychýlení nebo zablokování pohyblivých cástí, prasknutí nebo zlomení cásti nebo zda nedoslo k jakémukoli jinému stavu, který by mohl ovlivnit bezpecné pouzití tohoto náadí. Vymte vsechny opotebované nebo poskozené díly. Poskozené nebo nesprávn smontované náadí mze selhat a mze zranit osoby nacházející se v jeho blízkosti. Nepouzívejte klest, pokud mají tupé nebo poskozené celisti, nap. vylámané ostí. Celisti s poskozeným nebo tupým ostím nahrate za nové originální dle dále uvedeného postupu.

y Profesionální pákové hydraulické stípací klest Fortum® 4900172 jsou urceny pro stíhání ocelových drát, sroub, lan, betonáské výztuze/armatur, etz o prmru 4-16 mm. Soucástí dodávky je i náhradní tsnní a imbusový klíc.

POSTUP PRÁCE

1. Pokud nejsou celisti od sebe oddáleny, kolecko na stran klestí petocte do pozice ,,OFF”, címz dojde k automatickému oddálení celistí.

· UPOZORNNÍ
y Ped pouzitím klestí si pectte celý návod k pouzití a ponechte jej pilozený u výrobku, aby se s ním obsluha mohla seznámit. Pokud výrobek komukoli pjcujete nebo jej prodáváte, pilozte k nmu i tento návod k pouzití. Zamezte poskození tohoto návodu.
· UPOZORNNÍ
y Pi práci pouzívejte ochranu zraku (bezpecnostní ochranné brýle) a ochranné rukavice.

4. Rukojeti klestí uchopte do rukou a pohybem rukojetí dojde k pozvolnému svírání celistí. Rukojemi pohybujte tak dlouho, dokud nedojde k pestípnutí.
5. Kolecko petocte do pozice ,,OFF”, aby doslo k oddálení celistí.
   STÍPÁNÍ OCELOVÉHO ETEZU y Ocelový etz stípejte pestípnutím nejprve jedné cástí oka a poté druhé cásti oka.
   Oko etzu by mlo být kolmo k celistem (obr.1) a oko by mlo být uchyceno.
   BEZPECNOSTNÍ POKYNY PRO PRÁCI S KLESTMI y Klest jsou urceny pro pímé drzení obou rukojetí jedním clovkem.
   Bhem práce drzte rukama pevn ob rukojeti. Z bezpecnostních dvod je zakázáno prodluzovat rukoje nap. nasunutím trubky za úcelem zvtsení páky pro snízení vynalozené síly, mohlo by dojít k petízení a poskození klestí a k úrazu obsluhy. y Nikdy nestípejte objekty, jsou-li pod pnutím, nap. napnuté lano ci etz, dráty pod pnutím apod., pestípnutím dojde k jejich vymrstní a k úrazu osob. y Nikdy nestípejte vodice pod naptím nebo v blízkosti vodic pod naptím. Narusením izolace vodic pod naptím bude naptí pivedeno na kovové cásti klestí a dojde k úrazu/usmrcení osob elektrickým proudem. Nikdy nepouzívejte tyto klest na rozvody vody, plynu apod. – 2 –

y Bhem pouzívání klestí zajistte bezpecnou vzdálenost osob od místa práce, mohlo by dojít ke zranní osob.
y Bhem práce nemjte hlavu pímo nad místem práce, ale stranou, aby pi pípadném vymrstení nedoslo ke zranní obsluhy.
y Nestrkejte ruce do místa celistí. Nebezpecí poranní nebo uskípnutí prst. Berte na vdomí, ze bity jsou ostré. Pi manipulaci s celistmi, nap. pi jejich výmn pouzívejte ochranné rukavice.
y S klestmi nepracujte, pokud máte mastné ruce. y Klest chrate ped dtmi a udrzujte je mimo dosah dtí. Zajistte,
aby si s klestmi nehrály dti.
CISTNÍ A ÚDRZBA y Vsechny pohyblivé cásti klestí udrzujte cisté a chrate je ped zanásením pevnými
necistotami, nap. kovovými nebo devnými pilinami, pískem, prachem, bahnem apod. a chrate je ped vodou a korozivními látkami, nap. kyseliny, louhy, blidla apod. Klest nepokládejte do vody. y Klest lze ocistit vlhkou textilií. Neulplé mechanické necistoty lze vyfoukat tlakovým vzduchem, nap. ofukovací pistolí. y Pohyblivé cásti klestí po ocistní promazte olejem v spreji. y Pokud klest nepouzíváte, ulozte je do ochranného pouzdra a skladujte je na suchém míst mimo dosah dtí. Chrate je ped teplotami nad 45°C.
VYJMUTÍ CELISTÍ y Ped vyjmutím spodní celisti nejprve vyjmte vrchní celist následujícím
postupem:

1. Kolecko petocte do pozice ,,OFF”, címz dojde k oddálení celistí. 2) Hexovým klícem vysroubujte upínací sroubek (krok 1, obr.2a) a poté celist rukou
   vyjmte (krok 2, obr.2b).
   VYJMUTÍ SPODNÍ CELISTI y Pro vyjmutí spodní celisti je nutné vysroubovat dva upínací sroubky,
   picemz kazdý je na opacné stran hlavy.
2. Pohybem rukojeti tam a zpt vysute spodní celist nahoru tak, aby byly pístupné upínací sroubky v otvorech dle obr. 3a. Pokud sroubky viditelné nejsou ani po vysunutí, je nutné rukou pootocit centrální cástí následovn. Jednou rukou uchopte hlavu klestí a druhou rukou otácejte ve smru sipky dle obr.3 tolik, aby byly upínací sroubky pístupné v otvorech pro vysroubování.
3. Upínací sroubky na obou stranách klestí vysroubujte. 3) Po vysroubování sroubk rukou vyjmte spodní celist a vlozte novou.
   Po vlození celisti ji ádn zajistte utazením upínacího sroubku. V pípad spodní celisti obma sroubky.
   VÝMNA HYDRAULICKÉHO OLEJE y Výmna hydraulického oleje je doporucována 1× za rok (v závislosti na cetnosti pouzívání). y Do klestí pouzívejte pouze hydraulický olej, pouzití jiného typu oleje je nepípustné.
   Výmna hydraulického oleje v jednotlivých krocích 1 az 8 dle obr.4: 1) Hlavu klestí upnte do svráku. 2) Kolecko petocte do pozice ,,OFF”, címz dojde k oddálení celistí. 3) Odsroubujte osovou rukoje ve smru sipky. 4) Z konce gumové trubicky odejmte zátku. 5) Klest vyndejte ze svráku a z gumové trubicky vylejte olej do zásobní nádobky. Rukou
   z trubicky olej vymackejte ve smru od shora dol. Klest opt upnte do svráku trubickou smrem nahoru. 6) a7) Injekcní stíkackou do trubicky vpravujte hydraulický olej- ústí stíkacky pilozte ke stn gumové trubicky klestí, aby pi vnásení oleje byla prchozí cást trubicky pro únik vzduchu z trubicky. Olej naplte az po spodní cást uzavírací zátky, tj. aby hladina oleje byla 1,5 az 2 cm od ústí hadicky. 8) Rukoje nasroubujte zpt a klest vyndejte ze svráku.
   y Odpadní hydraulický olej odevzdejte v tsnící odolné nádob do sbru nebezpecného odpadu. Nevyhazujte jej do komunálního odpadu ci nevylévejte do odpadních vod, pdy apod.
   Zárucní doba (práva z vadného plnní)

y Na výrobek se vztahuje záruka (odpovdnost za vady) 2 roky od data prodeje. Pozádá-li o to kupující, je prodávající povinen kupujícímu poskytnout zárucní podmínky (práva z vadného plnní) v písemné form dle zákona.

Skontrolujte, ci nie sú uvonené skrutky, ci je správne a pevne naskrutkovaná rukovä v osi ceustí, ci nedoslo k vychýleniu alebo zablokovaniu pohyblivých castí, prasknutiu alebo zlomeniu casti alebo ci nedoslo k akémukovek inému stavu, ktorý by mohol ovplyvni bezpecné pouzitie tohto náradia. Vymete vsetky opotrebované alebo poskodené diely. Poskodené alebo nesprávne zmontované náradie môze zlyha a môze zrani osoby nachádzajúce sa v jeho blízkosti. Nepouzívajte klieste, ak majú tupé alebo poskodené ceuste, napr. vylámané ostrie. Ceuste s poskodeným alebo tupým ostrím nahrate za nové originálne poda alej uvedeného postupu.

POSTUP PRÁCE 1) Ak nie sú ceuste od seba oddialené, koliesko na strane kliestí pretocte do pozície
,,OFF”, cím dôjde k automatickému oddialeniu ceustí. 2) Koliesko pretocte do pozície ,,ON”. 3) Medzi ceuste umiestnite stiepaný objekt. 4) Rukoväti kliestí uchopte do rúk a pohybom rukovätí dôjde k pozvonému zvieraniu
ceustí. Rukoväami pohybujte tak dlho, kým nedôjde k prestiknutiu. 5) Koliesko pretocte do pozície ,,OFF”, aby doslo k oddialeniu ceustí.

STIEPANIE OCEOVEJ REAZE

3. Odskrutkujte osovú rukovä v smere sípky.

y Oceovú reaz stiepajte prestiknutím najprv jednej castí oka a potom druhej casti 4) Z konca gumovej trubicky odoberte zátku.

BEZPECNOSTNÉ POKYNY PRE PRÁCU S KLIESAMI
y Klieste sú urcené na priame drzanie oboch rukovätí jedným clovekom. Pocas práce drzte rukami pevne obe rukoväti. Z bezpecnostných dôvodov je zakázané predlzova rukovä napr. nasunutím rúrky s cieom zväcsenia páky na znízenie vynalozenej sily, mohlo by dôjs k preazeniu a poskodeniu kliestí a k úrazu obsluhy.
y Nikdy nestiepajte objekty, ak sú pod pnutím, napr. napnuté lano ci reaz, drôty pod pnutím a pod., prestiknutím dôjde k ich vymrsteniu a k úrazu osôb.
y Nikdy nestiepajte vodice pod napätím alebo v blízkosti vodicov pod napätím. Narusením izolácie vodicov pod napätím sa napätie privedie na kovové casti kliestí a dôjde k úrazu/usmrteniu osôb elektrickým prúdom. Nikdy nepouzívajte tieto klieste na rozvody vody, plynu a pod.

Rukou z trubicky vytlacte olej v smere zhora nadol. Klieste opä upnite do zveráka trubickou smerom nahor.
6) a7) Injekcnou striekackou do trubicky vpravujte hydraulický olej ­ ústie striekacky prilozte k stene gumovej trubicky kliestí, aby pri vnásaní oleja bola priechodná cas trubicky pre únik vzduchu z trubicky. Olej naplte az po spodnú cas uzatváracej zátky, t. j. aby hladina oleja bola 1,5 az 2 cm od ústia hadicky.
8) Rukovä naskrutkujte spä a klieste vyberte zo zveráka.
y Odpadový hydraulický olej odovzdajte v tesniacej odolnej nádobe do zberu nebezpecného odpadu. Nevyhadzujte ho do komunálneho odpadu ci nevylievajte do odpadových vôd, pôdy a pod.

y Pocas pouzívania kliestí zaistite bezpecnú vzdialenos osôb od miesta práce, mohlo by dôjs k zraneniu osôb.
y Pocas práce nemajte hlavu priamo nad miestom práce, ale bokom, aby pri prípadnom vymrstení nedoslo k zraneniu obsluhy.
y Nestrkajte ruky do miesta ceustí. Nebezpecenstvo poranenia alebo

nickými necistotami, napr. kovovými alebo drevenými pilinami, pieskom, prachom, bahnom a pod. a chráte ich pred vodou a korozívnymi látkami, napr. kyseliny, lúhy, bielidlá a pod. Klieste neklate do vody. y Klieste je mozné ocisti vlhkou textíliou. Neprilipnuté mechanické necistoty je mozné vyfúka tlakovým vzduchom, napr. ofukovacou pistoou. y Pohyblivé casti kliestí po ocistení premazte olejom v spreji. y Ak klieste nepouzívate, ulozte ich do ochranného puzdra a skladujte ich na suchom mieste mimo dosahu detí. Ak skrutky viditené nie sú ani po vysunutí, je nutné rukou pootoci centrálnou casou nasledovne. Jednou rukou uchopte hlavu kliestí a druhou rukou otácajte v smere sípky poda obr. 3b, toko, aby boli upínacie skrutky prístupné v otvoroch na vyskrutkovanie.
2. Upínacie skrutky na oboch stranách kliestí vyskrutkujte.

3. Po vyskrutkovaní skrutiek rukou vyberte spodnú ceus a vlozte novú.
   Po vlození ceuste ju riadne zaistite utiahnutím upínacej skrutky. V prípade spodnej ceuste oboma skrutkami.

nie), a mozgó alkatrészek megfelel mködését, a szerszám sérülésmentességét (azon nem lehet törés, repedés, vagy más, a biztonságos használatra hatással lév sérülés, deformáció stb.). Az elkopott és sérült alkatrészeket cserélje ki. A sérült vagy rosszul összeszerelt szerszám a használat közben meghibásodhat, és a közeben tartózkodó személyeknek sérülést okozhat. A szerszámot ne használja, ha a pofa sérült, életlen vagy az élen apró kitörések, ,,fogak” vannak. A sérült vagy életlen pofákat cserélje ki (vásároljon új és eredeti pofákat), a csere módját lásd lent.
A SZERSZÁM HASZNÁLATA

1. Ha a pofák nincsenek alaphelyzetben (nincsenek teljesen kinyitva), akkor a fogón található kereket fordítsa ,,OFF” állásba, a pofák automatikusan eltávolodnak egymástól.
2. A kereket fordítsa vissza ,,ON” állásba.
3. A pofák közé tegye be az elvágandó anyagot.
4. Fogja meg a fix kart és a másik karral pumpáljon, a pofák egymáshoz közelednek. A karral addig pumpáljon, amíg a pofák el nem vágják az anyagot.
5. A kereket fordítsa ,,OFF” állásba, a pofák eltávolodnak egymástól.
   ACÉLLÁNC ELVÁGÁSA y Az acéllánc esetében elbb a szem egyik oldalát, majd a másik oldalát vágja el.
   A láncszem legyen merlegesen a pofákra (1. ábra), a láncszemet lehetleg fogja be satuba.
   BIZTONSÁGI UTASÍTÁSOK A CSÍPFOGÓ HASZNÁLATÁHOZ y A fogót egy személy, két kézzel fogja meg. Munka közben a két kart er-
   sen fogja meg. Biztonsági okokból a fogó karját a kisebb ervel történ vágáshoz meghosszabbítani (pl. csvel) tilos. Az így létrehozott nagyobb er a fogó túlterhelését és meghibásodását, valamint a használó személy sérülést okozhatja. y Nem szabad olyan anyagokat elvágni, amelyek ki vannak feszítve (pl. kifeszített láncot vagy kifeszített drótot). A feszes anyagok elvágása esetén az anyag nagy ervel véletlen irányba elrepülhet és súlyos sérülést is okozhat. y A fogóval tilos feszültség alatt lév vezetékeket vagy kábeleket elvágni, illetve ne dolgozzon feszültség alatt lév drótok közelében sem. A feszültség alatt lév tárgyak elvágása esetén a fogó fém részei is feszültség alá kerülnek, amelyek megérintése halálos áramütést okozhat. A fogóval ne vágjon vízvezetékeket, gázvezetékeket stb. y A fogó használata közben az illetéktelen személyeket tartsa távol, mert az anyagok elvágása balesetet is okozhat. y Vágás közben a feje ne legyen a vágási vonal felett, mert az anyag vagy a fogó hirtelen megdobása sérülést okozhat. y A kezét és ujjait ne tegye a pofák közé. A szerszám súlyos ujjsérülést vagy az ujjak levágását is okozhatja. Ne felejtse el, hogy a pofák élei élesek. A pofákat csak védkesztyben fogja meg, pl. tisztításhoz vagy cseréhez. y A készüléket ne használja, ha a keze zsíros vagy olajos. y A fogót gyermekek elöl elzárva tárolja. Ne engedje, hogy gyerekek a szerszámmal játsszanak.
   TISZTÍTÁS ÉS KARBANTARTÁS y A fogó minden részét, különösen a mozgó alkatrészeket tartsa tiszta állapotban
   és védje meg a szennyezdésektl, pl. fém vagy faforgácsoktól, homoktól, portól, sártól stb. A szerszámot óvja meg víztl és más korróziót okozó anyagoktól, pl. savaktól, lúgoktól, fehéríttl stb. A fogót ne mártsa vízbe. y A fogót enyhén benedvesített ruhával törölje meg. A mechanikus lerakódásokat srített levegs pisztollyal távolítsa el. y A fogó mozgó alkatrészeit olaj-sprayvel kezelje le. y Ha a fogót nem használja, akkor azt tegye a védtokba és száraz helyen, gyerekektl elzárva tárolja. A szerszámot védje meg 45°C-nál magasabb hmérsékletektl.

A POFÁK KISZERELÉSE y Az alsó pofa kiszerelése eltt a fels pofát ki kell szerelni
(az alábbiak szerint).

1. A kereket fordítsa ,,OFF” állásba, a pofák eltávolodnak egymástól. 2) Imbuszkulccsal csavarozza ki a rögzít csavart (2a. ábra 1. lépés), majd a pofát
   kézzel vegye ki (2b. ábra 2. lépés).
   AZ ALSÓ POFA KISZERELÉSE y Az alsó pofa kiszereléséhez két rögzít csavart kell kicsavarozni
   (a csavarok egymással szemben találhatók).
2. Pumpálással emelje ki annyira az alsó pofát, hogy a rögzít csavarok feje megjelenjen a furatban (3a. ábra). Ha a csavarokat a pofa kiemelése után sem látja, akkor a középs részt kézzel kell elfordítani. Az egyik kezével fogja meg a fogó fejét, a másik kezével a 3b. ábra szerint forgassa el az alsó részt annyira, hogy a rögzít csavar feje megjelenjen a furatban.
3. A befogó csavarokat mindkét oldalon csavarozza ki. 3) A csavarok kicsavarozása után az alsó pofát vegye ki és tegye be az új pofát.
   A pofát a csavarok becsavarozásával és meghúzásával rögzítse. Az alsó pofát két csavarral kell rögzíteni.
   HIDRAULIKUS OLAJ CSERE y A fogóban évente 1-szer cserélje ki az olajat (a használat gyakoriságától függen). y A szerszámba csak hidraulikus olajat szabad betölteni, más típusú olajat nem.
   A hidraulikus olaj cseréjét a 4. ábrán az 1-8. lépések mutatják. 1) A fogó fejét fogja be satuba. 2) A kereket fordítsa ,,OFF” állásba, a pofák eltávolodnak egymástól. 3) A fix fogantyút a nyíl irányába csavarozza ki. 4) A gumicsbl húzza ki a dugót. 5) A fogót vegye ki a satuból és a gumicsövön keresztül az olajat öntse ki egy edé-
   nybe. A gumicsbl kézzel nyomja ki az olajat. A fogót ismét fogja be a satuba (a gumicsvel felfelé). 6) és 7) Injekciós t és fecskend segítségével a hidraulikus olajat töltse be a gumicsbe. Ügyeljen arra, hogy a leveg a rendszerbl el tudjon távozni. Addig töltse az olajat a szerszámba, amíg az olaj szintje nem lesz 1,5 – 2 cm-re a cs végétl. 8) A fix fogantyút csavarozza vissza a szerszámba és a fogót vegye ki a satuból.
   y A kieresztett olajat zárt edényben adja le kijelölt hulladékgyjt helyen. Az olajat veszélyes hulladékként kell kezelni. Az olajat háztartási hulladékok közé dobni vagy vizekbe, talajra stb. kiönteni tilos.

· HINWEIS
y Tragen Sie bei der Arbeit einen Augenschutz (Schutzbrille) und Schutzhandschuhe.
y Kontrollieren Sie vor der Verwendung Zange. Prüfen Sie, ob keine Schrauben lose sind, die korrekte und feste Verschraubung des Griffs in der Achse der Backen, die falsche Ausrichtung oder Blockierung beweglicher Teile, einen Bruch oder einen Bruch von Teilen oder jeden anderen Zustand, der die sichere Verwendung des Werkzeugs beeinträchtigen könnte. Ersetzen Sie alle abgenutzten oder beschädigten Teile. Beschädigte oder unsachgemäß montierte Werkzeuge können versagen und Personen in der Umgebung verletzen. Verwenden Sie keine Zangen mit stumpfen oder beschädigten Backen, z. B. mit abgebrochenen Klingen. Ersetzen Sie beschädigte oder stumpfe Klingen durch neue Originalklingen gemäß dem unten beschriebenen Verfahren.

ARBEITSABLAUF 1) Wenn die Backen nicht getrennt sind, drehen Sie das Rad an der Seite der Zange in
die Position ,,OFF”, um die Backen automatisch zu trennen.
2) Drehen Sie das Rädchen in die Position ,,ON”.
3) Legen Sie den zu zerkleinernden Gegenstand zwischen die Backen.
4) Nehmen Sie die Griffe der Zange in die Hand und bewegen Sie die Griffe, um die Backen schrittweise zu spannen. Bewegen Sie die Griffe so lange, bis es zur Durchtrennung kommt.
5) Drehen Sie das Rädchen in die Position ,,OFF”, damit es zur Trennung der Backen kommt.

SCHNEIDEN EINER STAHLKETTE
y Trennen Sie eine Stahlkette, indem Sie zuerst einen Teil der Öse und dann den anderen Teil der Öse einklemmen. Die Kettenöse sollte senkrecht zu den Backen stehen (Abb. 1) und die Öse sollte fixiert sein.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE FÜR DIE ARBEIT MIT DER NIETZANGE y Die Zange ist so konzipiert, dass beide Griffe direkt von einer Person
gehalten werden können. Halten Sie beide Griffe während der Arbeit fest mit den Händen. Aus Sicherheitsgründen ist es verboten, den Griff zu verlängern, z. B. durch Einsetzen eines Rohrs, um den Hebel zu vergrößern und die Kraft zu verringern, da dies zu einer Überlastung und Beschädigung der Zange führen und den Bediener verletzen könnte. y Schneiden Sie niemals Gegenstände, wenn sie unter Spannung stehen, z. B. gespannte Seile oder Ketten, Drähte unter Spannung usw., da sie sonst herausgeschleudert werden und Verletzungen verursachen können. y Niemals stromführende Leiter schneiden oder in der Nähe von stromführenden Drähten arbeiten. Durch das Durchtrennen der Isolierung von stromführenden Leitern wird Spannung an die Metallteile der Zange angelegt und es kommt zu einem Unfall/Tod durch elektrischen Strom. Verwenden Sie diese Zange niemals für Rohrleitungen von Wasser, Gas usw. y Achten Sie bei der Verwendung der Zange auf einen sicheren Abstand zwischen Personen und dem Arbeitsbereich, es besteht Verletzungsgefahr. y Halten Sie Ihren Kopf während der Arbeit nicht direkt über den Arbeitsbereich, sondern zur Seite, um Verletzungen des Bedieners durch Herausschleudern zu vermeiden. y Stecken Sie Ihre Hände nicht in den Backenbereich. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr und Gefahr von Schnittverletzungen der Finger. Beachten Sie, dass die Klingen scharf sind. Tragen Sie Schutzhandschuhe, wenn Sie mit den Backen hantieren, z. B. beim Wechseln der Backen. y Arbeiten Sie nicht mit der Zange, wenn Sie fettige Hände haben. y Bewahren Sie die Zange außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine Kinder mit der Zange spielen.
REINIGUNG UND INSTANDHALTUNG y Halten Sie alle beweglichen Teile der Zange sauber und frei von mechanischen
Verunreinigungen, z. B. Metall- oder Holzspänen, Sand, Staub, Schlamm usw., und schützen Sie sie vor Wasser und ätzenden Substanzen, z. B. Säuren, Laugen, Bleichmitteln usw. Legen Sie die Zange nicht ins Wasser. y Die Zange kann mit einem feuchten Tuch gereinigt werden. Lose mechanische Verschmutzungen können mit Druckluft, z. B. mit einer Luftdruckpistole, ausgeblasen werden. y Schmieren Sie nach der Reinigung die beweglichen Teile der Zange mit Sprühöl. y Wenn Sie die Zange nicht benutzen, bewahren Sie sie in ihrer Schutzhülle auf und bewahren Sie sie an einem trockenen Ort außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. Schützen Sie sie vor Temperaturen über 45°C.
ENTFERNUNG DER BACKEN y Bevor Sie die untere Backe entfernen, entfernen Sie zunächst die obere
Backe nach folgendem Verfahren:

1. Drehen Sie das Rädchen in die Position ,,OFF”, damit es zur Trennung der Backen kommt.
2. Lösen Sie die Klemmschraube mit einem Innensechskantschlüssel (Schritt 1, Abb. 2a) und entfernen Sie dann die Backe von Hand (Schritt 2, Abb. 2b).
   ENTFERNUNG DER UNTEREN BACKE y Um die untere Backe zu entfernen, müssen zwei Klemmschrauben auf der
   jeweils gegenüberliegenden Seite des Kopfes gelöst werden.
3. Bewegen Sie den Griff hin und her und schieben Sie die untere Backe nach oben, so dass die Klemmschrauben in den Löchern, wie in Abb. 3a gezeigt, zugänglich sind. Wenn die Schrauben auch nach dem Herausschieben nicht sichtbar sind, muss das Mittelteil wie folgt von Hand gedreht werden. Mit einer Hand den Zangenkopf fassen und mit der anderen Hand in Pfeilrichtung in Abb.3b drehen, so dass die Klemmschrauben in den Öffnungen zum Herausdrehen zugänglich sind.
4. Lösen Sie die Klemmschrauben auf beiden Seiten der Zange.
5. Nachdem Sie die Schrauben von Hand gelöst haben, entfernen Sie die untere Backe und setzen die neue ein.
   Sichern Sie die Backe nach dem Einsetzen durch Anziehen der Klemmschraube. Im Falle der unteren Backe mit beiden Schrauben.

5. Nehmen Sie die Zange aus dem Schraubstock und gießen Sie das Öl aus dem Gummiröhrchen in einen Behälter. Drücken Sie das Öl mit der Hand von oben nach unten aus dem Röhrchen. Spannen Sie die Zange wieder in den Schraubstock ein, wobei das Röhrchen nach oben zeigt.

6. a7) Verwenden Sie eine Spritze, um Hydrauliköl in das Röhrchen zu spritzen – setzen Sie die Spritzenmündung gegen die Wand des Gummiröhrchens der Schelle, so dass beim Einführen des Öls ein Durchgang für die Luft aus dem Röhrchen entsteht. Füllen Sie das Öl bis zum Boden des Stopfens ein, d. h. der Ölstand sollte 1,5 bis 2 cm von der Röhrchenmündung entfernt sein.

7. Schrauben Sie den Griff wieder an und nehmen Sie die Zange aus dem Schraubstock.
   y Entsorgen Sie alte Hydrauliköl in einem auslaufsicheren Behälter für die Sammlung gefährlicher Abfälle. Nicht in den Hausmüll, ins Abwasser, ins Erdreich usw. entsorgen.

CUTTING STEEL CHAINS y A steel chain is cut by first cutting one part of the eye and then the second part of

y The professional hydraulic rebar cutter Fortum® 4900172 is intended for cutting steel wires, bolts, cables, concrete reinforcement/rebars and chains with a diameter of 4-16 mm. The product comes supplied with a spare seal and a hex key.

y Do not work with the cutter when your hands are greasy. y Protect the cutter against children and keep it out of children`s reach.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE y Keep all the moving parts of the cutter clean and protect them against clogging
with mechanical particles, e.g. metal or wood saw dust, sand, mud, etc. and protect them against water and corrosive substances, e.g. acids, lyes, bleaches, etc. Do not put the cutter in water. y The cutter can be cleaned using a damp textile. Mechanical particles that have not adhered can be blown off using compressed air, e.g. using an air blow gun. y After cleaning it, lubricate the moving parts of the cutter using an oil spray.

· ATTENTION
y Carefully read the entire users manual before first using the cutter, and keep the manual with the product so that the user can become acquainted with it. If you lend or sell the product to somebody, include this users manual with it. Prevent this user`s manual from being damaged.
· ATTENTION
y During work, use eye protection (safety glasses) and safety gloves.
y Check the cutter prior to using it. Check that the bolts are not loose, that the handle is

REMOVING THE JAWS y Prior to removing the bottom jaw, first remove the top jaw
in the following manner:

1. Turn the wheel to the ,,OFF” position, which will separate the jaws. 2) Using the hex key, screw out the fastening screw (step 1, fig. 2a) and then take the
   jaw out with your hand (step 2, fig. 2b).

may cause injury to persons within their vicinity. Do not use the cutter if it has blunt or damaged jaws, e.g. broken off cutting edge. Replace jaws with a damaged or blunt cutting edge with new original ones, as described in the procedure below.

1. Moving the handles back and forward, slide the bottom jaw upwards so that the fastening screws are accessible in the opening as shown in fig. 3a. If the screws are not visible even after sliding out, it is necessary to turn the central part with your

hand turn in the direction of the arrow as shown in fig. 3b, so far that the fastening screws are accessible in the openings for the purpose of being screwed out. 2) Screw out the fastening screws on both sides of the cutter. 3) After screwing out the screws, use your hand to take out the bottom jaw and insert a new one.
After inserting the jaw, secure it firmly in place by tightening the fastening screw. In the case of the bottom jaw, with both screws.
REPLACING THE HYDRAULIC OIL y It is recommended to replace the hydraulic oil 1 × per year (depending on the
frequency of use). y Only use hydraulic oil in the cutter as the use of a different type of oil is forbidden.
Replacing the hydraulic oil in individual steps 1 to 8 as shown in fig. 4. 1) Clamp the head of the cutter in a vice. 2) Turn the wheel to the ,,OFF” position, which will separate the jaws. 3) Screw off the axial handle in the direction of the arrow. 4) Remove the plug from the end of the rubber hose. 5) Take the jaws out of the vice and drain the oil from the rubber hose into a collection
container. Use your hand to squeeze the oil out of the hose from top to bottom. Clamp the cutter into a vice again with the hose pointing upwards.

6. and 7) Use a syringe to push the hydraulic oil into the hose – place the outlet of the syringe against the wall of the rubber hose of the cutter so that a part of the hose is clear while the oil is being pushed in so that air is able to escape from the hose. Fill the oil all the way up to the bottom part of the plug, i.e. so that the oil level is 1.5 to 2 cm from the neck of the hose.
7. Screw the handle back on and take the cutter out of the vice.
   y Take the waste hydraulic oil in a tightly sealed and durable container to a dangerous waste collection facility. Do not throw out with communal waste or do not pour it into sewage lines, on to soil, etc.
