Intended Use
The product is used to deliver warm and humidified breathing gas to patients
and is used in conjunction with a breathing gas supply device with high flow
function. It is
expected to be used in medical institutions and home environments.

This product must be used under proper supervision.

The product is intended for use by a single patient only. Multiple patient use may spread infectious substances.

Do not clean, disinfect or sterilize the product, otherwise it may lead to the degradation of the material and product defects.

The nose delivery the breathing gas can produce positive airway pressure (PAP).
The possible adverse reactions of patients to positive airway pressure (PAP) should be considered. -
Please do not use a nasal cannula with air entrained in case of excessive pressure.

It is forbidden to use a nasal cannula near open flames in case of a fire.

It is forbidden to squeeze or pull the nasal cannula to prevent the failure of treatment.

If you need to use the nasal cannula to cooperate with the oxygen supply device, please follow all safety precautions. When the breathing gas supply device is not working, the oxygen supply device must be turned off to prevent fire danger.
CAUTIONS!
- Check the integrity of the product packaging, if the package is found damaged, please do not use this product.
- The product should be connected to the breathing gas supply device manufactured or recommended by our company or recommended by the prescribing doctor. The use of incorrect breathing gas supply devices may affect the treatment effect.
- Check all connections to ensure that there are no blockages or leaks in the device.
- Please check whether the airflow is sufficient before wearing the nasal cannula, and make sure that the breathing gas supply device is preheated.
- Choose the appropriate size of the nasal cannula which can not cause blockage of nostrils.
Contraindications
Facial deformities, those who are allergic to the nasal cannula material such
as silicone, and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), and those who have broken skin
in contact with the
oxygen tube should be used with caution

- If the patient has any adverse reactions such as skin redness, chest tightness, dyspnea, gastric distension, severe headache, lacrimation, snivel, and so on, please
contact medical and nursing professionals.

Features
The nasal cannula consists of rhinobyon, slider, tube and machine end, as
shown in Fig.6-1.
The product consists of three specifications: large size (NC11L), medium size
(NC11M) and small size (NC11S).
CAUTION!
- The pictures in the user manual are only for reference, if they are different from the material object, the latter shall prevail.
Wear the nasal cannula

Take out the nasal cannula and tear off the release paper at the sticking position on the face of the nasal cannula, as shown in Fig. 7-1.

Align the nasal cannula with the release paper to the nostril and insert it into the nostril, as shown in Fig. 7-2. WARNING!
• The diameter of the rhinobyon must be smaller than the diameter of the nostril to ensure that there is a certain gap between them. The main body of the rhinobyon must
have a certain gap with the nasal septum, as shown by √ in Fig. 7-2. -
After confirming the position, press the nasal cannula to the face for bonding to complete the wearing. Connect the machine end to the tube of the breathing gas supply device and keep the air supply smooth and without air leakage, as shown in Fig. 7-3.
CAUTIONS!
- The machine end is connected to a tube with the ability to connect with a standard 22 mm conical connector.
- In order to prevent skin damage, the longest single time of face sticking is 3 days.
- If the paste is not sticky, you can directly take a new adhesive and directly cover the old one. Use it on glue or stick it on the face with medical tape on the outside.
- Regularly check whether the nasal cannula has condensed water. Pour it out if necessary.
Remove the nasal cannula
- Close the breathing gas supply device and disconnect the connection between the nasal cannula and the breathing tube.
- Remove the nasal cannula from the patient’s face.
WARNING!
- Don’t pull the tube when removing the nasal cannula.
Disposal
When the device reaches the end of its service life, dispose of the device and packaging in accordance with local laws and regulations.

BMC Medical Co., Ltd. warrants that the product shall be free from defects of
workmanship. If the product fails to perform in accordance with the product
specifications, BMC Medical Co., Ltd. will repair or replace, at its option,
the defective material or part. BMC Medical Co., Ltd. will pay customary
freight charges from BMC Medical Co., Ltd. to the dealer location only. This
warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, alteration,
and other defects not related to material or workmanship.
