IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using your appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, check the appliance before each use by holding it away from the body and operating the steam button.
  2. Use the appliance only for its intended use.
  3. To reduce the likelihood of circuit overload, do not operate another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit.
  4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not place cords, plugs, or appliances in water or other liquid.
  5. Never yank the cord to disconnect from the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
  6. Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or where it could contact a heated oven.
  7. Burns could occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam.
  8. Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet when filling with water or emptying, and when not in use.
  9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, or if the appliance has been dropped or damaged. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the appliance, take it to a qualified service person for examination and repair. Incorrect reassembly or repair could cause a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when the appliance is used.
  10. Burns could occur from touching the hot surface. Always use the handle to avoid burning your skin.
  11. The iron must not be stored until it has cooled. Loop cord loosely around the appliance when storing.
  12. The voltage of the power source must be compatible with the voltage displayed on the rating plate of this steamer (120V/60Hz).
  13. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
  14. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  15. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  16. Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
  17. The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to the cunnlv mains.

Warning

  1. Do not place the steam nozzle directly on any surface or on the appliance power cord while it is not or plugged in.
  2. Never use the steamer on clothes that are being worn. Never direct the steamer toward people or animals.
  3. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
  4. To reduce the likelihood of circuit overload,do not operate another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit.
  5. To reduce the risk of electric shock,this appliance has a polarized plug. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
  6. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable.

Using Tips

  • To turn off the steamer, simply press and hold the button for an extended period. For safety purposes, it is recommended to unplug the device immediately after each use.
  • The solid red light indicates that the heating process is complete and the device is ready for dry ironing mode. The solid green light indicates that the device is in steam mode.
  • After the preheating process is completed, press the button to switch between dry and steam modes.
  • Please empty the water tank when the unit is not in use to prevent any potential damage.
  • Only fill the water tank with de-mineralized or distilled water. Other liquids may damage the steamer.
  • Do not put any additives in the water tank as they can damage the steamer.

What Water To Use?

It is recommended to use de-mineralized or distilled water. Never use water- containing additives (starch, perfume, aromatic substances, softeners,etc.), or condensation water (for example water from tumble dryers, water from refrigerators, water from air conditioning units, rainwater). This water contains organic waste materials or minerals that concentrate under the effect of heat and cause spitting, brown coloring or premature aging of your steamer.

Before Use

  1. Carefully unpack the Newbealer Steamer and remove all packaging materials. Verify that all parts are present, and are in good condition.
  2. Fill Water Reservoir (For Steam Ironing):
    • 01. Ensure that the unit is unplugged.
    • 02. The water tank cover should be opened from the bottom of the unit body.
  3. Fill the water tank (see section”What Water To Use?”). Never exceed the maximum level of 170ml.
    • Note : Before filling the water reservoir, make sure to remove the plug from the socket outlet. After reconnecting the plug, remember to long-press the power button to turn on the unit.
      1. Close the water inlet cap.
    • Note : An audible “click” will be heard when correctly locked.

General Operation

Dry Ironing (257°F)

  1. Plug in the appliance.
  2. Press and hold the button for 2s to turn on the power. The indicator light will flash red, indicating that the unit is heating up.
  3. When the indicator light changes from flashing red to solid red, it indicates that the preheating process is complete, and the unit is now in dry ironing mode.
  4. In dry ironing mode, maintain the soleplate temperature at 257 F. Take extra caution when ironing delicate fabrics such as silk, chiffon, and velvet.
    • Apply the appropriate pressure while ironing and ensure the iron is used and rested on a flat, stable surface.

Steam Ironing (284°F)

  1. Plug in the appliance.
  2. Press and hold the button for 2s to turn on the power. The indicator light will flash red, indicating that the unit is heating up.
  3. When the indicator light changes from flashing red to solid red, simply short press the button. The indicator light will then change from solid red to solid green, indicating that the steamer is ready for use.
  4. Featuring a 360° anti-dripping design, this steamer can be conveniently used in both horizontal and vertical positions according to your preference. For best results, glide the steam jets smoothly from top to bottom over your garment.
  5. Utilize your free hand to maintain the fabric taut and stretched. Steam the garment using slow, downward strokes while ensuring continuous contact between the steamer head and the fabric.

Note : Never steam a garment while it is being worn!

After Use

  2. 2. Unplug the appliance.
  3. Place the unit rested on a flat, stable surface to cool down.
  4. Wait for 30 minutes for the steam head to cool before storing.Newbealer-NB310A-Compact-Garment-Steamer-FIG11 Note: Never touch the head of the iron during use, as the steam head heats up and may burn you ! ! !
  5. To avoid mineral buildup, empty the tank after each use.

Automatic shut-off feature

For safety, the steamer is equipped with an auto shut-off function. It will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of operation (approximately 12 minutes of usage based on a 170ml water tank capacity each time).

Proper usage:

Before refilling the water tank, make sure to turn off the power for safety. Next, unplug the appliance and refill the tank. To resume usage, simply long press the power switch.

Cleaning

  1. Wait half an hour for the appliance to completely cool down.
  2. Wipe the Main Body and head with a soft cloth lightly moistened with water.
    • DO NOT clean the Steam Head with detergents.
    • DO NOT clean the Steam Head with abrasive or corrosive products
  3. Never wash or rinse the appliance directly over a sink.

Note : Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents or objects to clean the steam head or other parts of the steamer.

Storing your steamer

  1. Ensure that the unit is unplugged.
  2. Store it in a cool dry place.
  3. DO NOT wrap the power cord around the unit, place it loosely.
    • Note : Water-containing mineral levels will vary depending on he place where you live in. To ensure the continuous operation of the steamer, never store it without cleaning and removing excess water from the water container or tank.
    • If you fill your steamer with tap water, you may experience mineral build-up due to the high mineral content in the water supply in many cities. Mineral residue inside your steamer’s internal heater may cause intermittent steaming or, in severe cases no steaming at all.
    • To avoid the problem,only use de-mineralized or distilled water in your steamer. If you are unable to use de-mineralized or distilled water, we recommend you to follow the cleaning procedure below at least once a month to help avoid mineral build-up.

Anti Calc

  1. Open Water Reservoir Cap and drain any remaining water into a sink or tub.
  2. Make a mixture of 0.5 oz. distilled water and 0.5 oz. vinegar.
  3. Add water and vinegar solution into the water tank and cover it.
  4. Follow the instructions in the manual to perform the steam ironing procedure. Allow the appliance to run until the water tank has completely emptied.
  5. When finished, press and hold power button to turn off the power and unplug.
  6. Allow the unit to cool for 5 minutes, then refill Water Reservoir with fresh distilled water. Repeat steps 4-5 until the vinegar odor dissipates.
  7. Store unit as normal.
