Safety instructions

Intended use
This device is designed to convert acoustic signals into radio signals and transmit them. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damage resulting from improper use. This device may be used only by persons with sufficient physical, sensory, and intellectual abilities and having corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use this device only if they are supervised or instructed by a person who is responsible for their safety.

Risk of injury and choking hazard for children!
Children can suffocate on packaging material and small parts. Children can injure themselves when handling the product. Never allow children to play with the packaging material and the device. Always store packaging material out of the reach of babies and small children. Always dispose of packaging material properly when it is not in use. Never allow children to use the device without supervision. Keep small parts away from children and make sure that the device does not shed any small parts (such as knobs) that children could play with.

Possible hearing damage due to high volumes on headphones or earphones!
The use of headphones or earphones at high volumes or for an extended period of time may result in permanent hearing impairment.
Set the volume of your audio device to a medium value.
Do not use the headphones or earphones for more than about an hour a day.

Operating location
Never use this product:

  • in direct sunlight
  • in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
  • in extremely dusty or dirty places
  • in locations where the device may get wet
  • in the vicinity of magnetic fields

General handling

  • To prevent damage, never exert force while operating the device.
  • Never immerse the device in water. Wipe only with a clean and dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents

Keep the device away from impurities!
Keep the device away containers with liquid. Should liquid enter the device, this could lead to its destruction or fire. Ensure that no metallic parts enter the device.
Interference with other electrical devices
Using the device near radios or TV sets may cause interference.
In that case, increase the distance between the devices.
Notes on radio transmission
This equipment uses a frequency range that is free of charge and registration within the European Union (EU).

During operation, make sure that transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel.
Never set more than one transmitter to the same channel.
Make sure that no metal objects are located between transmitter and receiver.
Avoid interference by other radio and in-ear systems.

To reset the software, press [+] and [–] simultaneously four times and then keep them pressed until “01” and “02” flash on the display.
If “01” is flashing, press the [-] button and then confirm with the on/ off button. Now try to connect the transmitter and the receiver.

Operating the device

  1. Charge the device on a suitable USB charging station. It takes around 6 hours to fully charge the built-in battery.
  2. Connect the cable of a microphone or a line level source to the 3.5 mini jack socket (6).
  3. Press and hold the on/off button (3) for two seconds to switch on the device. The LCD (1) lights up and displays the current transmission channel.
  4. To select a different channel, press and hold [+] and [–] (4, 2) simultaneously for two seconds. “CH” flashes on the display and the symbol disappears. Use [+] or [-] to select the required channel.
  5. To confirm your selection, briefly press the on/off button (3) or wait five seconds until the device has saved the new channel automatically. “CH” stops flashing and the symbol appears again. Make sure that the transmitter and the receiver are always set to the same transmission channel.
  6. The volume level is set to 4 by default. Four levels be- tween (4) and (full) are available. Press [+] (4) to increase the volume, and press [–] (2) to lower the volume. To mute, briefly press button 3.
  7. To change the sensitivity of the sender input from “Mic” (default) to “Line”, press and hold the [–] button (3) for five seconds until the symbol flashes.
  8. The symbol appears on the display when the battery is fully charged. If the symbol flashes on the display, the charge has dropped to 10%, which means you need to charge the battery. The following symbol appears during charging:
  9. The device switches itself off during charging. To use it while it is charging, press and hold the on/off button (4) for two seconds to switch on the device.
  10. The device switches off automatically after 20 minutes if no signal is receive on the input. To switch off the device manually, press and hold the on/off button (3) for two seconds.
    The minimum distance between the transmitter and the receiver is 30 cm.

This product is subject to the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) as amended. Do not dispose of your old device with your normal household waste. Dispose of the product through an approved waste disposal firm or through your local waste management facility.
When disposing of the device, comply with the rules and regulations that apply in your country. If in doubt, consult your local waste management facility.
Batteries must not be thrown away or burnt, but must instead be disposed of in line with the local regulations on the disposal of hazardous waste. Use the available collection sites.
Only dispose of lithium batteries when they are empty. Remove lithium batteries from the device before disposal. Protect used lithium batteries against short circuit, for example by taping the poles. Dispose the solid state lithium batteries together with the device. Please check for an appropriate reception facility.
