GOWENIC M8 Translate Earphone User Manual

Dear user, first of all, thank you for your trust! The following is to introduce you the product use process, I hope it can help you to understand the use of the product more quickly.

After you purchase this product, you need to download the “WOOASK” APP to use the translation function, please follow the following steps to experience and use our translation function.Can also be used as a regular headset: listening to music, making phone calls, etc.

The translation earphone currently supports four translation modes (as shown in the figure below)

1、Preparation before use

A、Scan the QR code to download and install.

B、Apple users should search “WOOASK” App in IOS mall, download and install it. Android users can search for “WOOASK” App in Google Mall, download and install.

2、Translation earphone connection and pairing

A. For the first time, please remove the protective film of the charging contact of the earphone, put it back into the charging compartment and take it out. Wait for the pairing of the earphone to succeed. Then open the phone settings – Bluetooth to connect to the earphone.

B、Open the “WOOASK” APP, if there is no connected device, please click [Connect Device] to jump to the settings page, select Bluetooth, Connect your earphone device to your phone.

3、Setting the language

Turn on any dialog mode, with the language on the left corresponding to the left ear and the language on the right corresponding to the right ear. Set the desired output language and target language to start the dialog!

4、Four translation modes

1、Touch Mode

In “touch mode”, one person wears one earphone and clicks the earphone to translate in real time. Suitable for scenarios where an acquaintance is willing to wear your earphone.

2、Hands free mode

In ” Hands free mode “, one person wears the earphone , one person holds the phone, suitable for strangers who are not convenient to wear your earphone scenario. (For example: outdoor, shopping, asking for directions, etc.)

3、Free speech mode

In “free speech mode”, two people each wear a earphone , real-time translation, free hands, free communication

4、Offline mode

Before using “offline mode”, you need to purchase and download the offline translation package on the APP page in advance, so that you can translate in real time even if there is no network on your cell phone.

5、Frequently Asked Questions

No sound in earphones (left & right ears)?

1. Check if the earphone has power
2. After putting the earphone back into the charging compartment, delete this earphone’s name in the Bluetooth list of the phone and restart it, so that the earphone can automatically pair and connect again.

Bluetooth is unstable or the device cannot be found?

1.  Make sure the earphone is close to the mobile device to ensure that there is no RF interference.
2.  Put the earphone back into the charging case, cover the charging case lid for 20 seconds, and then take it out again for pairing.

No response for translation

1. Try to reboot phone or APP
2. Check whether the network is normal or replace the network.

Inaccurate/slow translation

The accuracy of the translation depends on the precision of the recognition and the pronunciation is as standard and loud as possible. Translation speed depends on the speed of the network.

6、Functions

(When used as a normal earphone)

1.  When the earphone is paired successfully, it supports listening to music, making calls, etc
2.  Answer/end the call: click to answer an incoming call, and double-click to end the call
3. Listen to music: When playing music, click once to pause/play, Click the left earphone three times to play the previous song, and click the right earphone three times to play the next song
4.  Volume: Double click the right earphone to turn up the volume, and double click the left earphone to turn down the volume
5. Power on/off: Press and hold the key for 3 seconds to power on, and press and hold for 5 seconds to power off. When you pick up the earphone from the charging bin, it will automatically power on and pair, and when you put it back into the charging bin, it will automatically power off.
