CAN SAVE A LIFE!

*If you must use your hair dryer in the bathroom, install a GFCI now!**
Your local electrician can help you decide which type is best for you – a portable unit that plugs into the electrical outlet or a permanent unit installed by your electrician. The National Electrical Code now requires GFCIs in the bathrooms, garages, and outdoor outlets of all new homes.

Why do you need a GFCI?
Electricity and water don’t mix. If your hair dryer falls into water while it’s plugged in, the electric shock can kill you… even if the switch is “off.”
A regular fuse or circuit breaker won’t protect you under these circumstances. A GFCI offers you far greater protection.

A GFCI can save your life!
Compared to that, the price is small!

Don’t wait… install one now!
*GFCI is a sensitive device which reacts immediately to a small electric current leak by stopping the electricity flow.

This assists in diffusing and softening the airflow, stimulating natural drying, while gently drying, styling and
caring for your curls and taming frizz.

  • EXPERT TIP
Set your style with the lock-in cold shot button and finish with a spritz of light hold hair spray, for extra hold if needed.

CLEANING and MAINTENANCE

Blocked or clogged air intake vents will cause the dryer to overheat. The rear filter should be checked and cleaned on a regular basis – to help maintain clean airflow while blow-drying, optimum performance and prevent overheating.

FILTER CLEANING REMINDER
This dryer features a clever automatic cleaning alert after 1500 minutes of use, to help prolong the life of your dryer. Once the cumulative usage time of the dryer reaches 1500 minutes of use, the air speed/temperature indicators will flash at the same time, reminding you that the rear filter of the dryer needs to be cleaned. The indicators will stop flashing after 6 times and return to normal operation. If the filter isn’t cleaned, the cleaning reminder will activate again when you next switch the dryer on.
Switch off the dryer and unplug the power outlet. Allow to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
The rear filter is fully removable and washable for easy cleaning. And it’s magnetized design makes it much easier to remove and attach.

  • Holding the handle of your dryer firmly in one hand, place your thumb and index finger on top of the 2x black lines on either side of the dryer (1 at front of dryer + 1 at back of dryer), where you see this icon .
  • Pull the rear filter away from the dryer horizontally – as it’s magnetic you may need to use some force to remove.
  • Lift the handle inside the inner rear filter and use it to pull out and remove the inner rear filter from inside the air inlet cover.
  • Wash the air inlet cover and inner rear filter under running water, making sure all parts are fully dry before reassembling. You must clean both the air inlet cover and the inner rear filter to protect the service life of the motor.
  • Using a soft brush, clean any hair, dust and other debris that may have built up on the back of the dryer.
  • If overheating occurs, an automatic safety device will shut the dryer or the heat off to prevent damage or personal injury. If the dryer or heat turns off, unplug the cord and allow the dryer to cool for 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure the air vents are 100% clean.
