INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Read me before use! Keep the manual and all relevant information for future reference.

WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock

1. Do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
2. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the device. 3.) Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.
3. Do not ingest the battery; doing so may result in a chemical burn hazard.
4. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment doesn’t securely close, discontinue use of the product and keep it out of children’s reach.
5. If you suspect that batteries have been swallowed or inserted into any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
   

CAUTION

If mishandled, the battery pack can burst, cause a fire, or even result in chemical burns. Please observe the following precautions:
Do not disassemble.
Do not crush, nor expose the battery pack to any shock or force such as hammering, dropping, or stepping on it.
Avoid short-circuiting or allowing metal objects to contact the battery terminals.
Do not expose to high temperatures above 60°C (140°F), such as in direct sunlight or inside a car parked in the sun.
Never incinerate or dispose of in a fire.
Do not handle damaged or leaking lithium-ion batteries.
Keep the battery pack out of the reach of small children and ensure it remains dry.
Replace the battery only with the specified type to prevent bursts, fires, or injuries.
Dispose of used batteries according to the provided instructions.
Use a nearby wall outlet when using the AC Adapter/Battery charger. If any malfunction occurs, immediately disconnect the plug from the wall outlet to cut off the power source. If using a product with a charging lamp, note that the product is not disconnected from the power source even when the lamp is off.
Do not use the AC adapter/Battery charger in a narrow space, such as between a wall and furniture.

If static electricity or electromagnetism interrupts data transfer, restart the application or disconnect and reconnect the communication cable (USB, etc.) as needed.

System Requirements
Users can transfer videos and photos to computers with the following configurations: Intel Pentium 2.0 GHz or higher/Microsoft Windows XP or higher operating system 2GB RAM 40GB above available disk memory/Standard USB interface/1GB GPU or higher 1920×1080 pixel or higher resolution.

Remote Control

This remote control operates with CR2025 or CR2032 3V button batteries and has a range of 65.6 ft (20 meters). It can remotely control the camera from any 360-degree angle in an unobstructed environment. Please note: Remove the insulating paper from the bottom of the remote control before use. When not in use, reinsert the insulating paper to prevent battery power loss.

Charging the battery

1.  Power off your camcorder, open the battery cover, and insert the battery in the direction indicated in the accompanying picture, then close the battery cover.

2.  Use the supplied USB cable to charge your camcorder by connecting it to an adapter (5V/1A-5V/2A).

CHE

• The charging indicator will turn red while the battery is charging.
• The charging indicator will turn off automatically once the battery is fully charged.

Charge the battery using a standard external charger by placing the battery directly into the charger. (Note: not include an external charger.)

The external charger’s charging indicator will turn red while the battery is charging. The indicator will turn blue once the battery is fully charged.

It typically takes around 2 hours to fully charge the battery, A fully charged battery allows for approximately 90 minutes of recording time.

Power on/off the camcorder

Open the touch screen, the camcorder will be powered on automatically.

Alternatively, you can turn on the camcorder by pressing the Power button. To turn it off, you can either close the screen or press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.

Notes :
The camcorder takes approximately 5 seconds to turn on or off when opening or closing the screen. Rapidly opening and closing the screen within this 5- second window may prevent the cameorder from powering on or off correctly. Please allow the camcorder to fully complete the power on/off cycle before attempting to operate it again.

Touchscreen functionality overview
Tap the screen icon (white balance, filter, exposure value, metering mode, sensitivity) to adjust the parameters, and tap the blank area of the screen to hide all the icons on the display.

1. Tap the blank area of the screen and swipe down to access the mode selection interface,

2. Tap the blank area of the screen and swipe up to access the current mode menu.

3. Tap the blank area of the screen and swipe to enter Playback mode.

Set the camcorder

You can customize settings on your camcorder with the following steps: Turn on the camcorder. Tap the mode icon on the screen or press the mode button to access the mode menu. Tap the system setting icon on the screen, or use the “Up” or “Down” buttons to navigate. Once the cursor is highlighting the system setting option, press the OK button to enter the system settings menu.

Insert and format the memory card

1. A class 10 or higher speed memory card is recommended for normal use. 1. Open the battery cover and insert the memory card until you hear a “click” sound.

Insert the card with the noted corner in the direction as illustrated

2.  To remove the memory card, open the cover and push the memory card; it will pop up automatically.

Format the memory card

Tap the mode icon on the camcorder’s screen or press the mode button to open the mode selection menu.
Tap the System Settings icon or navigate to it by pressing the Up/Down buttons to enter System Settings.
Scroll down the screen by swiping down or using the Up/Down buttons until you find the “Format card” option.
To access the sub-menu, tap on “Format” or press the OK button. Select “Format card” from the sub-menu to begin formatting the memory card.

Note: If the memory card is not in native format, the screen will pop up a prompt: Card error, please format the memory card as the above operation.

Please note: Formatting the memory card will erase all data on the card. Make sure to back up any important files before proceeding.

Using the camcorder

Upon powering on the camcorder, it will automatically be in video capture mode, which is the default setting. To switch modes, follow these steps:
Press the mode button on the camcorder or tap the mode icon on the screen to access the mode selection page.
On the mode selection page, tap the video mode icon if you wish to record a video or tap the photo mode icon to take pictures.
Please make sure to tap the corresponding icon for the mode you wish to enter.

The camera allows you to access different settings specific to each mode. Here’s how to adjust settings and use the capture functions:
Select your desired mode by pressing the mode button or tapping the mode icon on the screen. To access settings for the selected mode, tap the “Menu” icon on the touchscreen or press the Menu button. From there, choose the settings you wish to adjust. To take a photo, press the Photo Shutter button. The image will be saved automatically to the memory card.
To start recording a video, press the Record/Stop button. Press it again when you want to stop recording.
If you want to pause the recording, press the PHOTO button during the recording process. Pressing it again will resume the recording.

   Press to start recording, and press again to stop the recording. Note: The camcorder can not take a photo in video mode.
   

Fill light
To operate the fill light and night vision light on your camera, use the power button as follows:
Night Vision: Short press the power button once to activate the night vision light.
Fill Light : Short press the power button a second time to turn on the fill light.
Turn Off: Short press the power button again (third press) to turn off the fill light.

Mic interface
The camera’s MIC interface supports an external recording microphone with a 3.5mm diameter plug and self-powered.
Note: This interface does not support a headphone connection.

Playback

To view your photos and videos through the camera’s media library, please follow these steps:
Open the touch screen on your camera.
Tap the Mode icon on the screen or press the Mode button to open the mode options.
Tap the media library icon on the screen, or use the “Up” or “Down” buttons to navigate until the cursor is on the “Media Library.”
Press the “OK” button to enter the media library.
Once inside the media library, select the video or photo you wish to view. Use the “Up” or “Down” buttons to scroll through the videos or images stored on the memory card.

Playback on HDTV
Connect your camcorder to an HDTV or computer monitor (provided they have an HDMI input interface) using an HDMI cable. Plug the mini HDMI end of the cable into the camcorder’s HDMI interface and the other end into the HDTV’s HDMI input interface. Make sure to stop recording or playing back images before connecting or disconnecting the HDMI cable. (Adjust the TV source to HDMI mode). Use a Mini HDMI to HDMI Cable for this connection.
Note: After connecting to the HDTV, the camera’s display content will automatically switch to the HDTV, and the cameras will automatically adjust. It is not a malfunction.

Connect to computer
Connect your camcorder to a computer to transfer images or use the camcorder as a PC camera.

1.  Connect the Type-C USB port of the camcorder to the USB port of the computer using the supplied USB cable.

2. The camcorder will powered on automatically and display available options on the screen.

Tap the desired option or press the UP/DOWN buttons, then press the Power button to confirm your settings.

Charging Mode
Choose the charging mode when you want to charge your camcorder. It supports recording while charging, but powering off the camcorder will result in faster charging.

Mass Storage Mode
Select “MSDC” to have your computer recognize the camera’s storage card as a removable drive, allowing you to transfer files from the card to your computer.

PC Camera
Choose the “PC Cam” mode to use the camera as a webcam. Note: When the camcorder is in PC Camera mode, only the digital zoom function can be controlled from the camera; other functionalities will be disabled.

Connect to the WIFI App

Note: This Wi-Fi connection is for the camera app only, and it cannot directly connect to the internet. (The Wi-Fi of the camcorder cannot access social networks: it is for smartphone access to the camcorder only.)

1. Scan the QR code below to download the WIFI application.
   

2. After downloading the app, long press the “up” button to turn on the camera’s Wi-Fi, and the Wi-Fi ID and password will be displayed on the screen of the camera.
   Turn off the WIFI function: In the WIFI connection state, press the UP button to cut off the WIFI signal source of the camera, and the camera returns to the normal show state.

3. On your smartphone, go to Settings—Wi-Fi— [Camera Wi-Fi ID] and then.
   enter the password displayed on the camera sereen.

4. After successfully connecting to WiFi, open the app to control the camera (take photos/videos) and download photos/videos from the camera to your smartphone.

5.  To share photos and videos on social media through the app:

Step 1: In the app, go to the File Preview page, click the icon below and select the photo or video to download.

Step 2: Exit the app, re-enter the “Offline album” page of the app, and select and share the downloaded photos or videos on social media. At this point, disconnect the camera’s Wi-Fi hotspot and connect to your mobile phone or tablet’s mobile data.

(If you can view the downloaded photos or videos in your device’s local album, skip “Step 2” and directly share them on social media or chat apps.)
(Note: Sharing multiple video files or a mix of photos and videos at the same time is not supported.)

Camera cleaning and maintenance

1. If the camera is not going to be used for a prolonged period, remove the battery and store it in a dry, dust-free place with a temperature below 86°F (30°C).
2. To extend the battery life, fully discharge it before long-term storage.
3. It is advisable to fully discharge and recharge the battery at least once every three months.
4. If dust or dirt accumulates on the lens or screen, gently wipe the surface with a clean, soft lens cleaning cloth.
5. As this device is a precision instrument, be careful to avoid dropping it or exposing it to strong impacts or vibrations.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems with the camera, please refer to the following troubleshooting tips:

1. If the camera won’t turn on after installing the battery:

2. The battery may be low on power; replace it with a fully charged one or recharge the current battery.

3. The battery might be installed incorrectly; make sure that it is inserted correctly according to the camera’s instructions.

4. The battery’s insulating paper may still be in place; if so, remove it to allow for proper contact.

5. If the battery is not charging:

6. Check if the red light on the charging indicator is flashing. If it is, the battery may be misplaced or not making proper contact. Reinstall the battery correctly until the indicator light remains steady. The light will turn off once the battery is
   fully charged.

7. If the charging indicator light does not come on, ensure that the charger is properly connected to both the camera and the power source.

8. Be aware that if the ambient temperature is below 50°F (10°C), the battery may charge slowly or not at all.

9. If the remote control is not working:

10. Initially, remove the insulating paper from the bottom of the remote control. If the remote still fails to work, try removing and reinserting the battery of the
    remote control.

11. Note that the remote control is designed to only power off the camera remotely and cannot turn the camera on.

12. In the event of a camera crash:
    Pressing the camera buttons too rapidly may cause the camera to freeze. Should this occur, remove the battery and then reinsert it to restart the camera. Tip: To prevent this issue, avoid pressing the buttons too quickly, especially during recording or taking pictures. The camera will typically display a waiting icon when processing commands under normal conditions.

13. If the memory card is not recognized:

14. Ensure that the memory card meets the SD card (class 10) standard and does not exceed the maximum capacity of 256GB.

15. Check that the memory card is not inserted backward into the slot.

16. It is recommended to format the memory card in the camera before its first use to ensure compatibility and proper operation.

Additional notes

1. Avoid inserting any objects into the memory card slot other than the appropriate memory card.
2. Upon powering on, it’s normal for the camera to display an unstable image for a short duration; this does not indicate a malfunction.
3. Due to the inherent optical characteristics of the lens, you may notice color dispersion (chromatic aberration) at the edges of the image; this is a natural occurrence and not a defect of the camera.
4. It is normal for the memory card to become warm after being used for an extended period.
5. The camera’s screen may also heat up after prolonged use, which is to be expected and is not a cause for concern.
