Product Usage Instructions

Initial Setup

  • Use a nearby wall outlet when using the AC Adapter/Battery charger.

  • If any malfunction occurs, immediately disconnect the plug from the wall outlet to cut off the power source. !fusing a product with a charging lamp, note that the product is not disconnected from the power source even when the lamp is off.

Install the handle

Slide the handle in the direction of the arrow, install it into the cold shoe holder of the camera, and then lock the handle button.

Installing/removing the lens hood

  1. The lens hood can effectively reduce diffused light that may cause lens flare and aberration.
  2. Align the buckle marking lines on the camera and the hood, and tum in the direction indicated by the arrow until they are locked.
  3. To remove the hood, tum it in the opposite direction of rotation during installation.

Charging the battery

  1. Gently place the battery into the battery mounting slot, sliding it upwards until it is securely installed, indicated by a click sound. To remove the battery, push the battery locks and slide the battery downwards.
  2. You can charge your camcorder using the supplied USB cable by connecting it to an adapter (5V /1A~5V /2A) or directly to a PC.(power adapter not included)
  • The charging indicator will turn on in red when the battery is charging.
  • The charging indicator will turn off automatically when the battery is fully charged.

Power on/off the camcorder

Open the touch screen to power on the camcorder automatically.

Alternatively, you cau power on the camcorder by pressing the Power button. To power off the camcorder, close the screen or hold down the Power button for 3 seconds.
Notes : It takes 5 seconds to power on/off the camcorder by opening the screen. If you open/close the screen twice within this reaction time, it may prevent the camcorder from powering on/off properly. Please wait for the machine to complete the power on/off procedure before operating it again.

Touchscreen functionality overview

  • Click the screen (white balance, filter, exposure value, metering mode, sensitivity) icon to change the parameters.
  • Click the blank area of the screen to hide all the icons on the page.
  • The second click can turn off the display.
  • The third click can turn on the display and all screen icons.

Set the camcorder
You can customize the settings of the camcorder. After the camera is turned on, tap the mode icon on the screen or press the mode button to open the mode menu. Click the system setting icon on the screen or press the “Up” or “Down11 key. When the cursor is on the system setting, press the OK key to enter the system settings.

Insert the memory card

A Class 10 or higher speed memory card is recommended for normal use.

  1. Open the battery cover and insert the memory card until you hear a “click” sound.
    insert the card with the noted comer in the direction as illustrated.

  2. To remove the memory card, open the cover and push the memory card; it will pop up automatically.

Format the memory card
It is recommended to format the memory card before the first use. To format the memory card, please click the mode icon on the screen or press the mode button to open the mode selection. Then tap the System Settings icon to open System Settings. Press the Up/Down buttons or swipe down the screen until “Format card11 is highlighted, then tap Format or press the Power button to access the sub-menu.

Note:
If the memory card is not in its native format, the screen will display a prompt: “Card error.” Please format the memory card following the above instructions. Formatting the memory card will erase all data stored on it, aod the data will be irrecoverable. Save your important data on a PC before formatting.
Using the camcorder
After powering on the camcorder, video capture mode is the default mode. Press the mode button or tap the mode icon on the screen to enter the mode selection page. Tap the on-screen video mode or photo mode icon to select the desired mode.

The camera supports setting the corresponding mode menu in different modes. After choosing your desired mode, tap the “Menu” icon on the screen or press the Menu button to open the menu and select the desired settings accordingly.
Press the Photo Shutter button to take a photo; the photo will be saved to the memory card automatically.To start recording, press the record/stop button; press again to end recording. Additionally, you can press the camera button to pause/continue recording while recording.

Fill light
To operate the fill light and night vision light on your camera, use the power button as follows

  • Night Vision: Press the power button once to activate the night vision light.
  • Fill Light: Short-tap the power button a second time to turn on the fill light.
  • Tum Off: Short press the power button again (third press) to turn off the fill light.

Mic interface
The camcorder supports an external microphone with a 3.5mm connector. Note: This interface does not support a headphone connection. Playback

Open the touch screen and tap the Mode icon on the screen, or press the Mode button to access the mode options. Click on the screen’s media library icon or press the “Up” or “Down” button. When the cursor is on the “Media Library,” press he “OK” button to enter the media library. Select the video or photo you want to view, then press the Up/Down button to scroll through the videos or images stored on the memory card.

Playback in HDTV

The HD interface of this camcorder is solely for connecting to a high- definition TV and cannot be connected to a computer. To connect, plug the public port of the HD cable into the HD interface of the camcorder, and connect the other end of the port to the HD input interface of the HDTV. Note that before connecting or unplugging the HD cable, please stop recording or playing the images first. (The TV source needs to be adjusted to HD mode).
The HD cable suitable for use is the Mini HDMI to HDMI Cable.
Note: After connecting to the HDTV, the camera’s display content will automatically switch to the HDTV, and the camera’s screen will automatically turn black. This is not a malfunction.

Connect to computer
To connect the camcorder to a computer for transferring images or using it as a PC camera, follow these steps

  1. Connect the Type-C USB port of the camcorder to the USB port of the computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. The camcorder will power on automatically, and the screen will display the available options
  3. Tap the desired option on the screen or press the UP/DOWN button to navigate to the desired option. Then press the Power button or OK button to confirm the settings

Charging Mode:
Select the charging mode to enable the normal recording function. Fully charging the camcorder is faster when it’s powered off than when it’s powered on.
USB Drive Mode:
Select 11USB Drive Mode” to display the camcorder’s memory card disk on the computer. This allows the computer to transfer files to the memory card.
USBCamera:
Select “USB Camera” mode to use the camcorder as a webcam for activities such as live streaming.
Note: While the camcorder is being used as a PC Camera, only the digital zoom lever can be operated, and other functions cannot be used.

Connect to the WIFI App

Note: This Wi-Fi connection is for the camera app only, and it cannot directly connect to the internet. (The Wi-Fi of the camcorder cannot access social networks; it is for smartphone access to the camcorder only.)

  1. Scan the QR code below to download the WIFI application.
  2. After downloading the app, long press the “up” button to turn on the camera’s Wi-Fi, and the Wi-Fi ID and password will be displayed on the screen of the camera. Turn off the WIFI function: In the WIFI connection state, press the “UP” button to cut off the WIFI signal source of the camera, and the camera returns to the normal show state.
  3. On your smartphone, go to Settings—Wi-Fi— [Camera Wi-Fi ID] and then enter the password displayed on the camera screen.
  4. After successfully connecting to WiFi, open the app to control the camera (take photos/videos) and download photos/videos from the camera to your smartphone.
  5. To share photos and videos on social media through the app:
  6. Step 1: In the app, go to the File Preview page, click the icon below and select the photo or video to download.
  7. Step 2: Exit the app, re-enter the “Offline album” page of the app, and select and share the downloaded photos or videos on social media. At this point, disconnect the camera’s Wi-Fi hotspot and connect to your mobile phone or tablet’s mobile data. (If you can view the downloaded photos or videos in your device’s local album, skip
  8. “Step 2” and directly share them on social media or chat apps.) (Note: Sharing multiple video files or a mix of photos and videos at the same time is not supported.)

Camera cleaning and maintenance

  1. If the camera is not going to be used for a prolonged period, remove the battery and store it iu a dry, dust-free place with a temperature below 86°F (30°C).
  2. To extend the battery life, fully discharge it before long-term storage.
  3. lt is advisable to fully discharge and recharge the battery at least once every three months.
  4. If dust or dirt accumulates on the lens or screen, gently wipe the surface with a clean, soft lens cleaning cloth.
  5. this device is a precision instrument, be careful to avoid dropping it or exposing it to strong impacts or vibrations.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems with the camera, please refer to the following troubleshooting tips:

  1. If the Carrera won’t turn on after installing the battery:
  2. The battery may be low on power; replace it with a fully charged one or recharge the current battery.
  3. The battery might be installed incorrectly; make sure that it is inserted correctly according to the camera’s instructions.
  4. The battery’s insulating paper may still be iu place; if so, remove it to allow for proper contact.
  5. the battery is not charging:
  6. Check if the red light on the charging indicator is flashing. If it is, the battery may be misplaced or not make proper contact. Reinstall the battery correctly until the indicator light remains steady. The light will turn off once the battery is fully charged.
  7. If the charging indicator light does not come on, ensure that the charger is properly connected to both the camera and the power source.
  8. Be aware that if the ambient temperature is below 50°F (10°C), the battery may charge slowly or not at all.
  9. If the remote control is not working:
  10. Initially, remove the iusulating paper from the bottom of the remote control. If the remote still fails to work, try removiug and reinserting the battery of the remote control.
  11. Note that the remote control is designed to only power off the camera remotely and cannot turn the camera on.
  12. In the event of a camera crash: Pressing the camera buttons too rapidly may cause the camera to freeze. Should this occur, remove the battery and then reinsert it to restart the camera. Tip: To prevent this issue, avoid pressing the buttons too quickly, especially during recording or taking pictures. The camera will typically display a waiting icon when processing commands under normal conditions.
  13. Ifthe memory card is not recognized:
  14. Ensure that the memory card meets the SD card ( class I 0) standard and does not exceed the maximum capacity of 256GB.
  15. Check that the memory card is not inserted backward into the slot.
  16. It is recommended to format the memory card in the camera before its first use to ensure compatibility and proper operation.

Additional notes

  1. Avoid inserting any objects into the memory card slot other than the appropriate memory card.
  2. Upon powering on, it’s normal for the camera to display an unstable image for a short duration; this does not indicate a malfunction.
  3. Due to the inherent optical characteristics of the lens, you may notice color dispersion (chromatic aberration) at the edges of the image; this is a natural occurrence and not a defect of the camera.
  4. It is normal for the memory card to become warm after being used for an extended period.
  5. The camera’s screen may also heat up after prolonged use, which is to be expected and is not a cause for concern.

FAQ

Storage Card

How to Choose an SD Card, our recommendations are as follows

  • The card must be an SDHC or SDXC card;
  • Supports a maximum capacity of 256GB;
  • The speed of the card should be at least Class IO;
  • The card must be a standard (full-size) SD card (32mm x 24mm), not compatible with Mini SD or Micro SD;
  • We recommend using SD cards from brands such as SanDisk, Samsung, Panasonic, etc.

Storage Card Cannot be Used:
Please follow the prompts to purchase the correct SD card and format it in the camera

  • Confirm whether the SD card is inserted correctly (please follow the instructions in the manual), you will hear a “click11 sound after insertion;
  • Confirm whether the SD card is unlocked, there is an unlock prompt on the side of the SD card, please nnlock it before inserting it into the camera;
  • Clear unnecessary files from the storage card, backup files from the storage card to the computer, and replace it with a larger capacity storage card.
  • Restore the camera to factory settings.

Camera Cannot Recognize SD Card:

  • Follow the instructions in the manual to restore the camera to factory settings and reinsert the card for formatting;
  • Remove the storage card, connect it to the computer with a card reader for formatting, and then insert it into the camera for formatting;
  • Try using a different SD card. If the camera still cannot recognize the SD card, please contact customer service for assistance promptly.

Battery

  • The package contains I battery. Before first use, please remove the battery and install it correctly into the camera!
    For the first use, it is recommended to charge for 6 hours. During charging, the indicator light is red, and it goes off when fully charged. (For environmental reasons, we do not provide a charger. You can use a 5VIA/5V2A power adapter or charger). If the camera is not used for a long time, it is recommended to fully discharge and recharge the battery every three months to extend its lifespan.

Fast Battery Drainage

  • We provide a 4500mAh lithium-ion battery, which lasts approximately 275 minutes (at 6K resolution). In winter, due to colder weather, the battery life may shorten (this is determined by the composition of lithium-ion, the camera itself is not abnormal, and the issue can be solved by replacing the battery).

Battery Not Charging

  • If the charging indicator light is not on, please replace the Type-C cable and charger with new ones (charging from a computer is also possible, but it’s slower).
  • The camera supports charging while recording. If the battery is correctly inserted but the camera cannot charge, please remove the battery and directly connect the charging cable to a power source to supply power to the camera. If the camera can boot up normally, the battery is faulty and needs replacement. Please contact customer service for assistance.
  • Please note that if the ambient temperature is below 50°F (10°C), the battery may charge slowly or not charge at all.

Night Vision Function
In photo or video mode, you can continuously short press the power button to turn on/off the night vision light. Poor Effect: After the night vision function is enabled, the screen displays in black and white, with the best effect within 1.5 meters in dark environments. When shooting in dimly lit enviromnents, you can also tum on the fill light according to personal needs to achieve better shooting results.
Fast Battery Drainage: Enabling the night vision function will increase power consumption, which is a normal phenomenon and not a malfunction of the device or battery. (With night vision function enabled at 6K resolution, continuous recording lasts approximately 190 minutes).

Remote Control
Remote control not working or malfunctioning:

  • The remote control can remotely power off the camera but cannot remotely power it on. It must be used when the camera is powered on.
  • Before use, please remove the insulation film at the bottom of the remote control. To extend the lifespan of the remote control, please insert the insulation film after use.
  • Equipped with a 2.4G remote control, it can control the camera in a 360° range and can be used within a range of 20 meters from the camera.
  • The remote control uses a CR2025 button battery. Try replacing it with a new battery. If the issue persists, please contact customer service for assistance promptly.

Microphone

  • This product comes with an external microphone, which can be used according to your needs. (When using a webcam, it is recommended to choose a microphone with output function). You can purchase according to your personal needs.

Computer Webcam Please follow the instructions in the manual for connection. In the “Computer Webcam11 interface, you can use the zoom function, but other functions are not available. Unable to Connect:

  • If the camera cannot connect to the computer, you can try using a different USB cable, changing the computer port, or connecting to a different computer. If the issue persists after changing the USB cable, computer port, and using another computer, please provide the computer model and the problem encountered to customer service for prompt resolution.\

Screen
Black Screen

  • If the camera screen is lit but black, try long-pressing the “POWER” button to tum off the camera, then power it on again to see if it can return to normal.
  • Remove the battery, reinsert it, and then power on the camera.

Screen Malfunction:
The camera is equipped with a capacitive screen, which can be operated by touching with your fingers. Avoid getting water on the screen during use to prevent touch malfunction. Do not press the screen with fingertips or other hard objects to avoid damaging the display. If the issue persists, please provide a video and describe the problem to our customer service team to obtain further solutions.

  • During use, please handle the camera with care, as droppiog it can easily damage the screen.

Video Sound

No Souod in Recorded Videos

  • While playiog the video, you can adjust the volume usiog the Zoom key or the up/down keys.
  • When using an external microphone, there is a decibel button on the top of the microphone. Adjust the decibel to HIGH for louder souod.
  • If you still cannot hear any sound after checking the above issues, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Low Volume, High Noise:
• The volume of souod captured by the camera depends on factors such as the distance and size of the sound source, and the environment. It is recommended to use an external microphone to address this issue.

Focus/Zoom

Blurry Zoom

  • Clean the lens to avoid dust or other particles obstructiog the lens.
  • Our lens is a fixed-focus lens. It is recommended to shoot clear images from a distance of I meter from the object.
  • Our camera features 18x digital zoom, not optical zoom.
  • Does not support stabilization. For more stable image quality, it is recommended to use a tripod according to personal needs (with a 1/4-inch interface).

Unable to Zoom:
Please follow the instructions in the manual to reset the camera to factory settings and restart it. If you still cannot use the zoom function, please contact customer service for assistaoce promptly.

Image Quality

  • The camera supports video recording at up to 6K@30FPS. You can follow the instructions in the manual to change the video resolution.
  • The camera supports photo shooting at up to 64MP. You can follow the instructions in the manual to change the photo resolution. You can also set the image quality to illtra High, High, or Normal in the photo menu.
  • This product supports the pause function during video recording. You can press the photo” button to pause and resume recording.

Blurriness :
Clean the surface of the lens, and adjust the focus or sharpness settings. I 0.2 Video Instability: Ensure a stable handheld position or use a tripod & handheld stabilizer.
HDMI Connection

  • This product supports HDMI high-definition output. You can follow the instructions io the manual for HDMI connection. Unable to Connect:
  • Please try usiog a new HDMI cable or connectiog to a different TV or PC device. If the connection issue persists, please contact customer service for assistance promptly.

Machine Abnormalities

Failure to Power On/ Automatic Shutdown:

  • Please check if the battery is properly iostalled (refer to the manual for iostructions) to ensure proper battery connection.
  • Check if the battery has sufficient charge. Charge the battery promptly or replace it with a fully charged one.
    If the camera still does not power on, remove the battery and directly connect the charging cable to the camera for power supply. If the camera can power on normally in this way, the battery may be faulty and needs replacement. Please contact customer service for assistance.

System Freeze

  • Remove the battery and reinsert it to restart the camera.
  • Note : Avoid rapidly pressiog buttons while io shooting mode (it is recommended to wait 30 seconds between button operations), as this may cause the camera to freeze. If you have checked the above issues and still cannot use the camera normally, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Video Recording Video Segmentation Storage :

  • The reason why videos recorded by the camera are segmented for storage is maioly to address the capacity aod file size limitations of the storage medium, while also enhaocing recordiog stability and data security. Automatic Stoppage or Interruption During Recording:
  • Check if the memory card is damaged or if there is sufficient storage space available. Replace the memory card with a new one or backup files to the computer if necessary.

WiFi Connection

Unable to Connect

  • The WiFi function only supports connection to a mobile app for operation aod data transmission, and does not support internet access. Please refer to the instructions manual for WiFi connection procedures. Connection Issue:
  • Check if the WiFi functions on both the mobile phone and the camera are turned on. Follow the instructions in the manual to activate the WiFi signal on the camera.
  • If the WiFi password is entered incorrectly,please input the correct WiFi password on the mobile device based on the password displayed on the camera’s WiFi interface.
  • Weak or unstable WiFi signal may occur.Ensure that the camera and the mobile phone are within signal range and try to minimize obstacles between them.
