Using your thermometer

1. Press the power button in 1.5 seconds until the LCD screen displays“ON”;
   

2. Choose the probe and insert it into the port;
   

3. Insert the probe into the food, and the screen shows the instant food temperature;
   

4. When the LCD display brightness is 100%, press the power button to switch Celsius/Fahrenheit;
   

5. Use the phone APP to check the probe temperature, set the time and temperature alarm.

Using your transmitter

Download and install the APP and Pairing

What You Need
A smart device running iOS8.0 (or above) or Android 4.3(or above)

1. Search the EB LinkLite app from the Apple Store for IOS devices or on the Google Play Store for Android devices.
2. Enable Bluetooth function on your smart device
3. Open the App, tap the “+” icon in the top right corner or the “Add Device” icon in the middle of the display or search Food Probe ( BLE) or Meat thermometer.
4. Tap the device icon and follow the onscreen instruction to complete the pairing.
   Done! Your Thereye Smart Bluetooth Wireless Meat thermometer is ready for use!

Operation Guide

Turn on/off the transmitter

If the thermometer transmitter is power off/ on, press the power button in 1.5 seconds and the “ON”/ “OFF” icon will be shown in the LCD display.

Charge the transmitter with the type-C USB cable

• The battery capacity icon will flash if the battery is low. The display of the transmitter will show ” OFF” and the transmitter will be shut-off. Please charge it with a DC5V 1A adapter.
• Please fully charge the thermometer transmitter before the first usage or if the unit was storage more than half a year.
• The battery capacity icon will flash when charging. When the charging is completed, the icon won’t flash.
• Don’t use the transmitter when it is in charge.

Celsius and Fahrenheit unit

• When the transmitter is on, and the LCD display brightness is 100%, press the power button to switch Celsius/Fahrenheit; when the LCD display brightness is 30%, press the power button once, and the LCD brightness displays to 100%

Wipe the existing connection data if you want to change the smart device

• Press the power button for 8 seconds on the top of the thermometer transmitter when the transmitter was off.

The probes installation

• The reflected probe number temperatures in the display will be lit if the probe was inserted into the dock. ℃

Temperature measurement
Keep the probe was located in the center of the food for more accurate temperature information.

Troubleshooting

Q: How to pair the transmitter and the smart device. If pairing failed, the transmitter could monitor the temperature or not.

**A:**

• Please check whether it is first used. After turning on the thermometer transmitter, the Bluetooth will start pairing in 10 mins. You can see the Bluetooth connection in the top right corner flashing. Following the instruction of “Download and install the APP and Pairing “, you can pair the transmitter and your smart device.
• If you want to pair again, please press the power button for 1.5 seconds to turn off the transmitter then turn on. The Bluetooth starts pairing again.
• Even if the pairing failed in 10 mins, you can use the thermometer transmitter as the non-Bluetooth thermometer and the pairing will be stopped automatically.

Q: The display lightness is dark automatic.

**A:**

• The transmitter “ auto-dim” feature extends the battery operation time.
• If you press the power button or install or uninstall the probes or operate the APP in the connected smart device, the display will be full lightness again.

Q: How to switch the Celsius and Fahrenheit units.

**A:**

• When the transmitter is on, quickly press the power button once then you can find the unit was switched
• When the LCD display brightness is 100%, open the EB LinkLite App and switch the unit on the setting page

Q: The screen displays“—” “ LLL” or “HHH”.

**A:**

• There screens display “—” if the probe was not equipped or equipped in position. Please insert or pull it then insert it into the dork again.
• The meat temperature measurement range is -22 ℉～572 ℉/-30 ℃～300 ℃
• If the temperature is lower than -22 ℉/-30 ℃, the screen will display “—”
• If the temperature is higher than 572 ℉/300 ℃, the screen will display “ HHH”, which will then trigger an alarm

Q: Cannot use EB LinkLite app to set up the meat thermometer Ensure your smart device’s Bluetooth is on and has connected t the meat thermometer

**A:**

• Ensure the app location permission is allowed
• Ensure your smart device is within 393ft/120m of the meat thermometer.
• It is recommended to be as close as possible to the thermometer during pairing.
• Check the Bluetooth connection icon whether it stays on both the APP page and the LCD display or not. And check whether smart devices receives the disconnection notice
• Check the battery status, if the battery icon is flash, Please charge it.
• If the connection status is singly connected, you can only check the current food temperature. Please move your smart device closer to the meat thermometer to achieve a two-way connection. Then you will be able to make related adjustments and settings.

Q: How to change the device

A:

• Delete the Thereye Smart Bluetooth Wireless Meat Thermometer device in the original smart device via the “EB LinkLite” APP. Then use the new smart device to follow the use steps mentioned above.
• Press the power button for 8 seconds on the top of the thermometer transmitter. Then use the new smart device to follow the use steps mentioned above.

Warm Tips

1. Please make sure to open your Bluetooth on your phone to be paired correctly.
2. Connecting distance range up to 393ft(120M) (under open conditions), please make sure to use it within the connection range.
3. Please make sure that the meat thermometer probe is firmly inserted into the port to prevent the wrong temperature reading.
4. Do not put the plastic wrap in the oven to avoid melt!
5. Do not immerse the base in water or any corrosive cleaning materials. Wipe with a damp cloth.
6. Do not touch hot probes or wires with bare hands during or just after cooking. Always wear heat-resistant gloves.
7. The thermal resistance of different parts of the probe is different. Do not put the probe directly in the flame.
8. The probe is not suitable for dishwasher cleaning!
9. The probe must be wiped clean or disinfected before and after measuring food.
10. The probe cable of this product has IPX4 waterproof and can be washed with water, but cannot be immersed in water.
11. The probe can withstand a high temperature of 300°C (572°F). Do not expose it to flames.
