BATTERY INSTALLATION
VERY IMPORTANT: – When changing a battery, NEVER lay the lamp face down on the lens, instead rotate the light over 180 degrees on its stand so it is facing upside down, and change the battery from that angle.
- WARNING PLACE LAMP FACE DOWN IF THE LENS IS HOT WILL CAUSE DAMAGE AND CAN CAUSE FIRE!
- Always ensure you use the correct adaptor for the brand of power tool battery you are using. Never force the wrong adaptor onto another brand of battery. This will cause damage and void any warranties.
- The battery compartment cover provides IP65 dust & waterproofing, however, with some larger 6Ah batteries, the cover may not fit, so please take note the waterproofing level will not be as high.
POWER LEAD
- The 24V 2.7A power lead can power the MTB-5300 as a mains lamp without any battery installed. The 25% green battery level light will illuminate as a ‘default’ but can be ignored.
- This power lead will also provide power to the powerbank port to enable another device to charge whilst using the lamp, again without a battery needing to be installed.
- The power lead can also act as a charger – HOWEVER, this is only possible for the Unilite 14.8V 5.2Ah battery. This power lead will not charge any other brand of battery. Other battery brands will need to be charged in the usual way for that brand.
