  • DO NOT install this device if there is not at least 10 meters (30 feet) or more of wire between the electrical outlet and electrical service panel. This device features an internal protection that will disconnect the surge protective component at the end of its useful life, but will maintain power to the load – now unprotected.

SETUP

PLEASE NOTE: Presto Plug’s strong adhesive backing is semi-permanent and intended for one-time use only.

  1. Choose the location on the surface where you will be installing your Presto Plug™. Wipe clean with an isopropyl alcohol solution (70% IPA/30% water). Let the surface completely dry. (Fig, 1)

  2. Peel the adhesive backing off the back of Presto Plug”. Press the unit firmly against the wall and apply light pressure for a few moments to secure it into place. (Fig. 2 and Fig, 3)Presto-Plug-PD36-Outlet-Extender-fig- \(2\)
    IMPORTANT As the adhesive is semi-permanent, be sure this is the location where you would like the Presto Plug™ to stay. After installing, removing adhesive may slightly damage painted walls.

  3. Use the included Cord Cover and/or Cord Clip Guides to route the power cord as needed.
    CORD COVER: The cord Cover can be cut to size as needed. When ready to use, simply remove the adhesive from the back section and place it on the wall. Place wire into the cover, and snap/slide a top piece into place. (Fig.

  1. Insert the plug into the standard AC Outlet. Use AC plugs and USB devices just as you would with a typical outlet. (Fig. 6)
  2. To use a built-in phone shelf, place your device on top of Presto Plug™ at an angle, allowing it to lean on the wall. (Fig. 7)

REMOVING

  • If you ever want to remove Presto Plug·· or change its location;
  • Use a piece of dental floss or wire and pull it through the adhesive to release it from the surface. Hold tightly and pull downwards behind the unit in a back-and-forth motion.
    • A new 3M adhesive tape may be needed for re-installation. (Fig. 8)
      NOTE : Painted surfaces may be damaged upon removal
