- If the Battery leaks, remove the Battery from the appliance and do not use the Battery again.
- Batteries are to be removed from the appliance before being charged.
- Empty batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.
- If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.
- This appliance or Battery is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance or Battery.
- Keep the cells and batteries clean and dry.
- Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of Battery may create a risk of fire when used with another Battery.
- When Battery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the Battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
- Do not expose a Battery or appliance to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 129°C may cause explosion.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the Battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the Battery may cause irritation or burns.
- Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the Battery or appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the Battery and increase the risk of fire.
- Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
- Recommended ambient charging temperature: 5-40°C.
- Use only with approved 5Vdc USB power adapter to charge this device.
- The adapter that is suitable for one type of Battery may create a risk of fire when used with another Battery.
- Store the Battery where the temperature is below 25°C and away from moisture and the Battery in a 30-50% charged condition. Every six months of storage, charge the Battery as normal.

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY CHARGING
NOTE : Do not place the charger in an area of extreme heat or cold. The Battery works best at room temperature.
USING THE USB CABLE
- Attach the USB Cable to the adapter. Connect the other end of the USB Cable to the Battery.
- Plug the adapter into a power source.
USING THE DOCKING STATION (OPTIONAL)
- Attach the USB Cord to the adapter.
- Plug the adapter into a power source.
- Place the Battery into the slot in the charger.
- Press down and the latch will snap into place.
- Upon initially plugging the Battery into the charger, the Battery LEDs will alternate for a few seconds as it performs a self-diagnostic of the Battery status.
- After the diagnostic is complete, the Battery will begin charging with a single LED flashing. LEDs will become solid in color as charging progresses. When Battery is fully charged, all LEDs will become solid and remain ON for 1 hour.
NOTE : If the initial alternating light pattern continues for more than 10 seconds, the Battery may be too warm or too cold to charge. Unplug the Battery and allow it to stabilize to a normal room temperature and try charging again. If the Battery still does not charge after this, unplug the Battery and contact customer service.
