In this manual, you will find all the important information about your new
product.
Read this manual carefully before using the product for the first time to
avoid misunderstandings and prevent damage. This manual contains important
instructions for the safe use of your new product.
Keep this manual in a safe place. If the product is passed on to a third
party, the instruction manual must also be handed over.
Observe and follow the safety instructions contained in this manual.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read and follow the safety instructions in this chapter.
DANGER
The danger of the battery exploding. Do not expose the device and battery to
high pressure, impact, or excessive heat. Operate the device only at
temperatures between 5°C-40°C.
WARNING
The device is not intended for use by children or anyone with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
A supervisor should always be present.
- Hearing damage due to sound pressure. To counteract any hearing damage caused by the ultrasonic sound, ear protection must be worn during direct use of the device and when entering their effective area. Keep the device away from the ear canal during operation. Keep the device away from children or teenagers.
- Store and operate the device in such a way that misuse by children, teenagers, and third parties can be ruled out.
- Light sensitivity warning. The device has a flash light. Please note that the different stroboscopic light settings could cause epileptic seizures in affected persons.
CAUTION

Burns or irritation from battery acid/electrolyte fluid.
If you notice liquid leaking from the battery, avoid skin contact. Wear protective gloves when removing leaked batteries from the device. Then clean the contacts on the device with a soft cloth. In case of possible skin contact, wash the relevant areas with clean water.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse your eyes immediately with clean water and seek medical advice. -
Only use the same type of rechargeable batteries as supplied. When replacing dead batteries, remove all old batteries and replace them with new ones. Do not mix old batteries with new batteries.

Risk of tripping. Place the device so that it does not pose a tripping hazard to persons and animals. Do not place the device in walkways.
Headache, pressure sensation, and tinnitus. Do not place the device inside living areas unless your device is designed for that purpose. The device is motion activated. Prolonged exposure to sound may negatively affect hearing. Under certain conditions, headaches, a feeling of pressure in the head or tinnitus can be triggered. If you experience any of the above symptoms, please consult a physician immediately. Switch off the device if you spend prolonged periods of time in its vicinity.
NOTICE
- Note that the sound of the ultrasonic sound is also perceived by your own pets. Make sure that the device is switched off if your pet is in the device’s effective area. Ultrasonic sounds are a strong nuisance for animals. Fear and warning cries of animals are also in the ultrasonic range and therefore have a scare effect.
- Do not make any unauthorized changes or modifications to the device.
- Contact Customer Service for repairs.

The device transmits, depending on the setting, signals that are audible to humans and signals that are not or barely audible. This device works in the sonic and ultrasonic range.
According to the current state of knowledge, ultrasonic sounds do not cause any damage if the maximum level is below 140 dB (sound pressure) and the average level, related to 8 h/day, is below linear 110 dB. Our devices emit ultrasonic frequencies that can generate sound pressure between 80 and 120 dB at close range. -
The devices must be set up in such a way that you comply with the laws applicable in your country for ultrasonic emission in public spaces. This can be obtained from the local authorities responsible for your area.

There is no 100% guarantee that all animals will be successfully deterred, as each animal reacts differently to ultrasonic signals.
INTENDED USE
The VOSS.sonic 360 fusion is used to repel and drive away harmful small
animals. The device is not suitable for outdoor use. No other use is
permitted. Do not use the device in living rooms or rooms where people are
present.
The VOSS.sonic 360 fusion is intended for private use only and not for
commercial use.

THE RIGHT LOCATION
When selecting the installation site, observe the general safety instructions in chapter 2 and the following points:

The VOSS.sonic 360 fusion can be used both with and without a mounting post. To assemble the mounting post, insert the three parts of the post into each other and slide the post onto the sliding connection (6) on the underside of the device (see illustration). Info
The height of the mounting post can be adjusted by removing the middle segment. -
Do not place the device in sunken areas without a mounting post to protect it from water accumulation.

Do not place the device in walkways. Make sure that the device does not become a tripping hazard for other people.

For best results, make sure that the device is not covered by anything This would reflect or absorb the sound waves.

The VOSS.sonic 360 fusion secures an area of up to approx. 200 m², depending on local conditions. Ensure that no other people’s properties are affected without the owner’s consent.

When positioning the device, make sure that the correct trigger radius is set for the area to be protected (see chapter 8).
SET FUNCTION AND TRIGGER RADIUS
The VOSS.sonic 360 fusion has two separate switches. The function switch (5) determines the mode to be used (flash, sound/ultrasonic or a combination of both) and the radius switch (8) determines the triggering radius (120° to 360°).

Sound/ultrasound
When the sound/ultrasound is switched on, the device emits a frequency mix
(13.5-23.5 kHz). This frequency mix is used to scare away dogs, cats, martens,
foxes, deer, mice, small animals, and much more.
Flash
Switching on the flashlight is intended to scare away birds.

Info
On delivery, the built-in batteries are partially charged. We recommend fully
charging the batteries in the device when using it for the first time. To
charge the device, see section 9.1. Set the trigger radius with the radius
switch (8) and set the desired function with the function switch (5).
NOTICE
Make sure that the correct radius is set for the area to be secured.
As soon as the device is switched on, the red control LED (4) on the main side
(side A) of the device flashes once.
After approx. 10 seconds, the unit triggers once according to the settings.
The red control LED (4) lights up during this time and then switches off
automatically.
The device is ready for operation.
Info
Changing the settings when the device is switched on is not signaled again by
the device. The settings apply automatically the next time the device is
triggered.
MAINTENANCE
The device requires little maintenance. However, you should carry out regular
visual inspections. Check the device for damage before each use. There are no
serviceable parts inside the device.
NOTICE
****Do not use the device if there is any visible damage.
9.1 CHARGING THE DEVICE
The VOSS.sonic 360 fusion has a solar panel that supports the batteries
installed in the device during the day when it is regularly exposed to
sunlight for several hours, thereby extending the battery life. In the absence
of sunlight, the batteries in the device must be recharged regularly using the
charging cable supplied.

As soon as the control LED inside the front infrared sensor (5) flashes three
times in succession every 10 seconds, the battery must be charged. This state
lasts for 48 hours. If the battery is not charged within these 48 hours, the
device switches off automatically.
- To charge the batteries, switch off the device and connect the supplied USB charging cable to the designated port (9) on the bottom.
- Connect the USB port to a USB 2.0 port on your PC or a suitable USB charging adapter (5V DC, 500 mAh).
WARNING
To prevent possible overcharging of the batteries, use only the supplied
charging cable and a suitable charging adapter. Disconnect the device from the
charging cable when fully charged.
During the charging process, the control LED inside the front infrared sensor
(5) flashes red. When charging is complete, the control LED lights up red
continuously.

The device cannot be used during the charging process using the USB charging
cable.
9.2 CHANGE BATTERIES
The VOSS.sonic 360 fusion is operated with AA 1.2 V, 400 mAh NiMH rechargeable
battery (3 pcs.)

You can also use rechargeable batteries with a larger battery capacity. The
requirement is that the batteries used are NiMH batteries.
** WARNING
Small parts that can be swallowed. Keep children away from the device when
changing the batteries.
CAUTION**
Only use the same type of rechargeable batteries as supplied. When replacing
dead batteries, remove all old batteries and replace them with new ones. Do
not mix old batteries with new batteries.

Remove the two screws on the battery compartment cover (7).
-
Remove the battery compartment cover (7) and insert three AA NiMH rechargeable batteries.
WARNING
Observe the correct polarity of the batteries to avoid battery leakage or explosion and possible damage to persons or devices. -
Replace the cover on the battery compartment (7) and reattach the cover with the screws previously removed.
The device is ready for operation.
CLEANING
NOTICE
- Do not use aggressive solvents/cleaning agents, brushes, sharp objects or similar for cleaning. These can damage the surface.
- Do not submerge the device in water or other liquids.
There is a risk of a short circuit.
Switch the device off and disconnect it from the power supply before cleaning. Clean the device with a damp cloth if it is dirty.
Clean the solar panel regularly with a soft cloth and glass cleaner or a mild cleaning solution and water. This will ensure that the solar panel works efficiently.
TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTICE
- Do not make any unauthorized changes or modifications to the device.
- Contact Customer Service for repairs.
If the device malfunctions or is found to be otherwise defective, even after following the suggested solutions below, contact the manufacturer. The contact details can be found in chapter 15.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
WARNING
Store and operate the device in such a way that misuse by children, teenagers
and third parties can be ruled out.
** NOTICE**
- Pack the device securely for transport. For longer transport distances, it is recommended to transport the device in its original packaging.
- Remove the batteries before storage.
- Store the device at a maximum ambient temperature of 5°C-40°C and a maximum humidity of 10%-90%.
DISPOSAL
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on the product or its packaging indicates
that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. End
users are required to hand in the appliance at a collection point for waste
electrical and electronic equipment.
If the product contains a battery or a rechargeable battery, these should be
disposed of separately from the product if possible.
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can
return used batteries that we supply or have supplied as new batteries free of
charge to our warehouse (shipping address) or to a recycling center in your
area. If the battery or the rechargeable battery contains more than 0.0005%
mercury by weight, more than 0.002% cadmium by weight, or more than 0.004%
lead by weight, this will be clearly indicated by the respective chemical
symbol (Hg Cd, or Pb) below the symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on the
battery or the rechargeable battery. Recyclable materials such as zinc, iron,
aluminum, lithium, and silver can be found in batteries and rechargeable
batteries. They may also contain substances such as mercury, cadmium, and
lead. These are poisonous and dangerous to the environment if not disposed of
properly. Heavy metals can have harmful effects on human, animal, and plant
health and accumulate in the environment.
The separate collection and proper disposal of your old appliances and used
batteries/rechargeable batteries contribute to the conservation of natural
resources and guarantee recycling that protects human health and preserves the
environment. Information on where to find collection points for your old
appliances or used batteries/rechargeable batteries can be obtained from your
town or council administration, the local waste disposal companies, or VOSS
GmbH & Co. KG.
