Thank you for your purchase of the Discovery Starlight Lantern!
Please read all instructions and warnings on this sheet prior to using. Keep
this instruction sheet as it contains important information for future
reference.
TO OPERATE:
Starlight Lantern has 3 modes: Sky, Lantern, and Off.
- Turn the knob to Sky mode to project constellations.
- Turn the knob to Lantern mode to illuminate a dark area.
- Turn the knob to Off mode to turn the lantern off.
CLEANING:
- Use a cloth to wipe the outside of the unit.
- Do not disassemble the unit. There are no internal parts to be cleaned.
BATTERY INSTALLATION:
- Install batteries as shown in the diagram.
- Appropriately discard batteries when finished.
- Never mix old batteries and new batteries in the unit.
BATTERY WARNING:
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Insert batteries using the correct polarity.
- Do not short-circuit the battery supply terminals.
- Remove batteries before storing.
- Recycle or dispose of batteries according to federal, state, and local laws.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may explode or leak.
- Always use, replace, and recharge Cif applicable) batteries under adult supervision.
- Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
- Alkaline batteries are recommended. Use only the specified voltage.
- Keep these instructions for future reference.

- Inspect product items before every use. If they appear frayed/splintered, cracked, or broken in any manner, discontinue use and discard them immediately.
