Press to diminish the bnghtness level in 100%,70%,40%,10%,1% in turn.

Press to increase the bnghtness level in 1%,10%,40%,70%,100% in tum

Timing Button
Press to choose 10min, 20min, 30min, 40min, S0min, 60min, The digital tube shows the start of the countdown. Until the timer ends, the light turns off. Long press to adjust the brightness of the digital tube.

Enjoying the light

Sit as close as possible to the lamp between 10 cm and 20 cm. You can go about your normal activities while using it. You can read, write, make telephone calls, etc

• Every so often, briefly look directly into the light, since the effect results from the eyes/retina receiving the hight.
• Use the daylight therapy lamp as often as you want. However, the treatment is at its most effective if you carry out the light therapy according to the prescribed time period of at least 7 successive days.
• The most effective time of day for the treatment is between 6am and 8pm and we recommend that it is used for 2 hours per day.
• Do not look directly into the light the whole time you are using it, however, since that could lead to overstimulation of the retina
• Start with shorter periods of illumination, which you increase over the course of a week.

Cleaning and maintenance

Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance
Regularly remove dust from the outside of the appliance with a dry cloth

1. Unplug the appliance before you cdean it.
2. Clean the outside of the appliance with a dry doth
   Do not let water run into the appliance or spill water onto the appliance.

Replacement
This appliance does not contain any serviceable parts.

Environment

Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the environment.

Precautions
Research shows that light therapy is very safe. However, please check with your doctor first if any of the following apply:
Do not overuse. Recommended usage is 20-30 minutes each morrning. Overuse may cause irritability, excessive energy, or difficulty falling asleep at bedtime
It is not necessary to stare into the light. Feel free to work, read, eat or talk on the phone during your light therapy session
You have a major eye problem or have had eye surgery; You have been advised to avoid bright light or are taking medication that may cause photosensitivity;
You have been diagnosed with depression or other mood/sleep disorders. This is especially important if you are also taking medication for this, since light therapy can also affect your mood
A few people experience side effects but these are generally mild (including headaches, eye strain, nausea and hyperactivity) and can usually be solved simply by switching off the light. Over the next few days, gradually build up the time  you spend in front of it to find a treatment time that works best for you.
If you have any problems while using Lastar, or if you’ ve been using the light for a week but haven’ t noticed any benefit, please contact Lastar support team or speak to your doctor

Warranty & Customer support
This product is intended for domestic use only. Lastar will repair or replace the product, or any part of this product, (excluding batteries) free of charge if within 12 months of the date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through  defective workmanship or materials. This guarantee covers working parts that affect the function of the product. It does not cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Lastar shall  not be responsible for any type of incidental, consequential or special damages. Opening or taking apart the product or its compo­ nents will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be supported by proof of purchase and be  returned carriage paid to Lastar. Care should be taken in packing the product so that it is not damaged while in transit. This undertaking is in addition to a consumer’s statutory rights and does not affect those rights in any way  For  questions, support, or warranty claims, contact us at the email address below.
