Getting started

  • Tum OFF power supply at the circuit breaker or fuse.
    Use a noncontact voltage tester to ensure that power is off. More than one disconnect switch may be needed to turn off power.

  • Make sure the existing box has a neutral wire.

Switch Overview

Install

STEP1
Shut off power at the circuit breaker for the switch you are replacing. More than one disconnect switch may be required to turn off power. Use a noncontact voltage tester to ensure power is off

STEP2
Make sure the existing switch box has a neutral
*wire.* Remove existing wall plate.
Neutral wire is typically white.

STEP3
Turn on power at the circuit breaker and use a noncontact Voltage tester to check which wire is live (iine). The tester will flash or chirp when it comes close to a line wire. Turn off the power at the circuit breaker and label the wires.
Remove old switch by disconnecting all wires.

STEP4
Follow the wiring diagram to connect the wires in the wall box to the switch. Insert the wire into the connector hole of the switch, and use the screwdriver to fasten it firmly. Or you can connect the switch wires to the wires in the wall box with the wire nuts.

STEP5
Use screws to secure Switch into your wall.
Then, snap on included faceplate.
STEP6
Restore power by tuming on the breaker.

Button Operation

ON/OFF
This button toggles the wired light on and off.
R eset Button
To reboot switch: Press the button once.
To factory reset: Press and hold unti all LEDS turn on. The LED indicator will begin to blink biue, indicating the switch has been reset.

Warnings

  • Install only in a suitable UL Listed outlet box
  • CAUTION – Risk of Electric Shock – More than one disconnect switch may be required to de-energize the equipment before servicing.
  • Tighten terminal screws to 13 Ibf-in / 7.5kgf-c.
  • Supported specified line number for the thread terminal copper wire: 12AWG and 14AWG,
