It is very important that you and others stay in safety

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  12. Do not operate the device with a damaged cord power supply or plug, as well as in the presence of problems and after a fall or damage. Bring the device to the nearest authorized service center for inspection, electrical or mechanical repair or adjustment parts.

  13. Use of non-recommended accessories and parts by the manufacturer of the device, can lead to fire, damage electric shock or personal injury.

  14. Do not use the device outdoors.

  15. Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of the table or rack or its contact with hot surfaces.

  18. Always insert the plug into the appliance first, and then plug the cord into the outlet. To turn off the appliance, turn the switch to “0” and then remove plug from the outlet.

  19. When heating a toaster, always use the lowest degree of browning.

ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Power: For models with 2 holes: 1250 W
For models with 4 holes: 2500 W
NOTE. If the power cord damaged, for safety reasons it must be replaced. It can only do manufacturer or service agent. Not use an extension cord.
If the power cord is too short, contact a qualified electrician or service technician, for him to install an outlet nearby device

USE OF THE PRODUCT

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using the toaster, check the extra wide bread slots and remove packaging materials and paper that may have gotten inside during transportation or maintenance of the device. Do not use a metal object during the test toaster openings.
When using the toaster for the first time, light smoke may appear. This is normal. Smoke harmless and will soon dissipate.
To shorten the length of the cord, wind part of it on the holder at the bottom of the device. Legs the toasters are tall enough that the power cord can come out from under either side toaster.
USING THE TOASTER

  1. Insert the toaster’s power plug into a grounded outlet.
    NOTE. For different types of bread with different levels of moisture, you need to adjust different degrees of browning. For example, dry bread will toast faster than moist bread. IN in this case, you need to set a moderate degree of browning.

  2. Choose the degree of browning using the regulator. To increase turn the regulator to the right to increase the degree of browning, to the left to decrease it. Light indicators indicate the degree of browning from “1” (low) to “7” (high).

  3. Place slices of bread or other food in the toaster slots.
    NOTE. For even browning, 2-hole models should be browned slices of only one type of bread and of the same thickness. When frying slices of two different types of bread or different thicknesses in 4-hole models with two separate ones sets of controls, one pair of holes should cook toasts of one type of bread and of the same thickness.

  4. As soon as you put a slice in at least one of the holes, the toaster will automatically put them lower and start frying. Some foods may be too light to start the automatic browning mechanism. If the products have not gone down after 3 seconds, press the BREAD / CANCEL button ( ) to start the browning cycle manually.

  5. (Optional) Press the button of the desired special browning function 5 seconds. For more information, see the section “Special toasting functions”.
    DO NOT store the sandwich rack in the toaster or place it in the toaster immediately after finishing toasting and removing the sandwich. Otherwise, it will start a new toasting cycle, which may cause the toaster to malfunction.

  6. As soon as the food is ready, the toaster will automatically pick it up and beep. If not remove the food from the toaster within 45 seconds, the toaster will turn on the heating mode.

  7. The roasting cycle can be stopped at any time by pressing the button FRY / CANCEL ( ). The toaster will raise the toast and turn off.

CARE AND CLEANING

  1. Before cleaning the toaster, unplug it and let it cool down.

  2. Grasp the center of the crumb tray and pull it out. Shake the crumbs in garbage container. It is recommended to empty the crumb tray after each use using a toaster. The crumb tray should only be washed by hand.
    WARNING. Immediately after the end of the toasting cycle, the crumb tray will be hot
    NOTE. If grease or oil gets on the body of the toaster, wipe it off immediately with a soft damp cotton cloth.

  3. Wipe the toaster with a soft, damp cotton cloth. Do not use paper napkins, abrasive or liquid detergents. Do not immerse the toaster in water.

  4. Install the crumb tray in the toaster. Click until it clicks. Do not use a toaster without an installed crumb tray.
    NOTE. KitchenAid does not recommend covering the toaster.

KITCHENAID GUARANTEE TERMS (“GUARANTEE”)
KitchenAid Europa, Inc., Nijverheidslaan 3, Box 5, 1853 Strombeek-Bever, Belgium (Belgium) (“Guarantor”) provides the end customer, who is a consumer, the Warranty with the following conditions.
This Warranty is in addition to and does not limit or affect the statutory warranty of the end customer that has to provide the seller of the product.

  1. SCOPE AND CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY
    a) The Guarantor provides a Warranty for the products specified in Section 1.b), which the consumer buys from the seller or the company belonging to of the KitchenAid group of companies, on the territory of the countries of the European Economic Area, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey or Ukraine.
    b) The warranty period depends on the purchased product and is listed below five years of full warranty from the date of purchase.
    Additional accessories for planetary mixers, blenders, toasters, food processors, kitchen machines and immersion blenders: 2-year warranty.
    c) The warranty period starts from the date of purchase, i.e. from the date when the consumer purchased the product from a dealer or company that belong to the KitchenAid group of companies.
    d) The warranty applies to products without defects,
    e) The guarantor provides the consumer with the following services under this guarantee at his own choice, if the defect occurred during warranty period:
    – repair of a defective product or its parts;
    – replacement of a defective product or its parts; if the production of the product has stopped, the Guarantor has the right to replace it it for a product of equivalent or higher value.
    f) If the consumer wishes to make a complaint under this Warranty, he must contact a KitchenAid service center in his country or directly to the Guarantor.     h) To file a complaint under this Warranty, the consumer must provide a receipt or invoice confirming purchase the corresponding product.

  2. LIMITATION OF WARRANTY
    a) The warranty applies to products that have been used for personal purposes and does not apply to products that were used in professional or commercial activities.
    b) The warranty does not cover cases of normal wear and tear, improper or improper operation, malfunctions that occurred as a result of non-compliance with the operating instructions, connecting the product to a power source with an inappropriate one voltage, failure to comply with applicable electrical standards during installation or operation or application excessive force (for example, blows).
