ROUND LED EXPLOSION-PROOF FIXTURE
WARNING, CAUTION, SAFETY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

  • Installation, service, and maintenance of luminaries should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
  • Read the installation instructions carefully before installation.
  • This luminaire must be installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and ordinances.

CAUTION

  • Do not use an electric generator to test this fixture.
  • In the event of smoke or fire, turn off the power immediately and call a licensed electrician.
  • Use a strain relief bushing between the fixture and outlet box when connecting power wires.
  • Min 90° C supply conductor.

Installation Instructions

U- Bracket Wall Mounting

1. Make marks on the ceiling or walls, and then drill holes on the marks (Figure 1 ).
2. Use a hammer to put the expansion screws into the holes (Figure 2).
3. The holes on the bracket align with the expansion screws (Figure 3).
4. Tighten the nut on either end of the brackets (Figure 4).
5. Attach a suitable water proof conduit fitting and conduit per local standard. Make sure there is a strong connection and tight seal. Fixture can adjust 90 degrees to the left or right from vertical by adjusting the screw on the bracket (Figure 5 & Figure 6).

Installation

Threaded Pipe Mounting

1. Unscrew the compression nut on the fixture (Figure 1 ).
2. Open the cover. Run the wire though the threaded pipe and screw the tube into the fixture (Figure 2, Figure 3).
3. Connect the wire to the terminal block and close the top cover.
4. Attach the fixture to the desired location (Figure 4, Figure 5, Figure 6).
5. After installation, complete wiring using a suitable listed water proof conduit fitting and conduit per local standard. Make sure there is a strong connection and that good joint protection measures are taken.

Second Retention Point

1. Wire safety cable is necessary for the 100-150W luminaire (Figure 7).
2. Wrap the safety cable to the fixture in the middle of the luminaire (Figure 8).
3. Tighten the cable (Figure 9).
4. Fasten the other end of the cable to the outlet box or the mounting structure of the outlet box (Figure 10).

1. Open the wiring cavity and connect the main supply to the terminal block.
2. Close the wiring cavity.

Note: When installing conduit, remove the compression nut on the screw thread of the fixture. Fixture waterproofing connection and conduit system connection must be made in accordance with local regulations.

L: Black; N: White; Green/Yellow

  • Do not install damaged product. Inspect luminaire for damage that may have occurred during transit. If damaged, contact the manufacturer immediately.
