FAQ :
-
Q: What is the nominal capacity of the device and how does it relate to actual usage?
A: The nominal capacity of the device, expressed in mAh, is the total sum of all cell capacities. In practice, depending on the method of discharging (e.g., via USB-C 5V-2A or wirelessly at 15W), there is a conversion of voltage, and the actual usable capacity will be around 65-70% of the nominal capacity. -
Q: How should I charge the power bank for optimal performance?
A: It is recommended to charge the power bank with chargers not exceeding 35W and to avoid letting its charge level drop to 0% to maintain battery efficiency.

User Manual
- The built-in Type – C and Apple input ports enables connection to products equipped with battery.
- The same USB-C/PD port together with the Lightning port allows us to charge the power bank. We recommend that you do not use chargers more powerful than 35W to charge HARDY® MagSynergy Ni+™.
- In order to start charging a device that needs to be charged using a USB cable, you only need to connect the cable to the power bank and to the device being charged. The power bank will automatically detect the device and start the mode that best suits the device being charged.
- If the power bank needs to be charged, connect it to a power source and leave it for about 2 hours. When fully charged, the power bank will automatically cut off the power – you don’t have to worry about the battery being overcharged. This is one of the many protections that we have used in this device to improve the quality of the batteries and extend their life cycle.
Nominal capacity – what is this?
The nominal capacity of the device specified in the device specification
expressed in mAh is the total sum of the capacities of all the cells. In
practice, depending on the method of discharge, e.g., using a USB-C port
voltage of 5V-2A or wirelessly at 15W, voltage conversion occurs and the
usable capacity will reach approx. 65-70% of the nominal capacity. For devices
using voltages higher than 5V (QC, PD, Supercharge), the usable capacity will
be adequately lower.
Recommendation
In order to obtain the best possible performance of the cells, it is
recommended to charge the power bank with chargers not exceeding 35W, and to
ensure that the power bank’s charge level never drops to 0%.
How to charge the power bank?
- You can charge the power bank for the first time immediately after unpacking it and after using the electricity stored. However, it is worth doing the first charging completely, i.e. until the electronics of the powerbank informs you about the end of the charging process.
- One of the protection modules installed in HARDY® MagSynergy Ni+™ is one that protects it from overcharging. This means that the device will charge exactly as much as needed, and after the process is completed, it will automatically cut off the electricity and inform us about the end of the charging process.
- To charge power bank simply connect the USB-C cable to the USB-C Out/In PD20 port. Then connect the USB cable to a power supply or a USB port of your computer. Then a digital indicator will appear on the LED display, indicating that the product is being charged. The digital LED indicator will show 100% when the power bank is fully charged.
- It is not recommended to charge the power bank with high-voltage chargers exceeding 35W and to discharge the power bank to 0%. We recommend to recharge the device when the indicator shows 10% of energy left.
